What do you like best about the product?
I love the interface for Tines. I can quickly understand what any story is doing on the platform. I also like the ease of all the API calls. Integrating with APIs has been a pain point for the company in the past.
What do you dislike about the product?
Tines doesn't specifically have case management built in, so it's important for all stakeholders to make a decision on which platform to use for case management early on.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We enabled multiple types of data enrichment on events because Tines integrates easily with other APIs. Faster integration allowed us to conceive alternative ways to enrich data to help analysts make more informed decisions.

What do you like best about the product?
- Easy to use
- Efficient
- Story templates galore
- Drag and drop
- Support Staff stays with you beyond the sale
- best product I have used thus far for automation. Far better than Splunk SOAR and Cortex (aka Demisto)
What do you dislike about the product?
- Integrating it with our CI/CD pipeline for version tracking would be nice.
- However, it is easy to see this information in the UI.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can easily automate our response and containment actions with complete visibility into the what and why. We have saved money by piping additional data into Splunk and a "cheaper" cases management solution, keeping 100k YoY. This tool has also enabled our SOC to quickly onboard and attend context for various threats in our environment. This tool should be a part of everyones toolbox.

What do you like best about the product?
Support from the company is in-depth and ongoing. Community resources also make finding your solution much simpler and time efficient.
What do you dislike about the product?
Tines is still growing, but new updates and receptiveness to user feedback are assisting with any issues.

What do you like best about the product?
The product is really simple to use, the core certification provides you with a nice overview of the product. There are a lot of premade templates to use so there is no need to reinvent the wheel in a lot of the cases. Great tool for automation and with some time can be picked up by anyone even without previous automation experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
At present I can't say there is anything I dislike about the product but if I had to chose something then I would say only 3 labs being available for self learning, hope they will add more labs in the future!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The tines platform allows us to save time by automating daily/weekly/monthly repetetive tasks such as generating reports, tasks can be scheduled so there is no need to run them manually.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use and some prebuilt commands for some tools. Tines has been used to automate much of our reported phishing investigations. It provides all the analysis at our finger tips without the heavy lifting

I would like to see more examples to explain the full capabilities of some actions

What do you like best about the product?
The UI interface and the modular approach to constructing easy flows to make actions happen.
The support for APIs and methods is great which makes the adaptibilty fantastic.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the methods, such as HTTP, don't provide a good way to show what the payload or body for a API/HTTP request looks like. There is a workaround availble but having that as GA and include instructions for it would be great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Automation of actions - creating tickets, adding content and doing enrichment of alerts.
Orcehstration of incidents - creating slack channels, adding members.
Tool integrations - sending alerts to other tools and enriching them

Tines - It just makes things easier

What do you like best about the product?
For someone who is not familiar or comfortable with using APIs it just makes it easy.
With plug and play approach with actions, it makes it almost like a puzzle game where you have a start and end goal and have to complete the inbetween.

When I look at tools the first thing I ask myself now is does it have an API manual.
It can easily automate manual, mundane daily work free you up to focus on other things.
With enough use cases it can easily free up the work hours of a person on a daily basis.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not a lot to be honest. Some more internal reporting functionality would be nice like dashboards based on findings or charts but then again it's not excel or PowerBI or pretending to be. I can always use PowerBI APIs to adjust :)

There are some file size limitations as well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It takes the workload for dull, repetitive work that needs to be done across multiple tools outputs, comparing multiple tools that can be time consuming and can have it ready to go when you log in in the morning or quickly at point in time.
Not just comparing tools but automating actions taken by tools.

What do you like best about the product?
Fully API based, has a lot ready stories in LIbrary. You can set good amount of stories quick. Just make your Resources and Creds in place. Realy clear steps and great PS support as well as handy api documentation. Highly recomend to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't say dislike, more kinda new to do all thru UI. I preferd CLI like approach.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Main purpose is to automate boring stuff (tickets creatiom, escalation to owners, chasing ppl, etc.) Other thing is to put all tools together and make work as one platform

What do you like best about the product?
In the beginning, I thought Tines was simply a no-code automation tool. However, as time goes by and I have become more familiar with the capabilities of Actions and Functions (and how they can be used together), the whole platform is a game-changer for performing repeatable work with structured and regex-extractable inputs.

At present, my most productive Tines story is saving me considerable time in performing data analysis, decision calculation and application of preprogrammed actions... the daily time saving from my most productive Tines story is in the order of 12-14 days of effort saved per day!
What do you dislike about the product?
Once you start getting into really advanced applications of Functions (like I experienced with LAMBDA) the level of complexity can become a little overwhelming.
Fortunately, the Tines team is extremely responsive on their Slack channels and usually come back to me with an answer in the space of a day.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tines is helping me with the conduct of Vulnerability Assessment, Risk Calculation and execution of Predefined actions at a scale that would not be possible to do manually.

What do you like best about the product?
Tines is incredibly easy to use. It makes the perfect experience.
Tines helps us deal with false-positive alerts. In addition, it also helps us to eliminate the repeat processes when responding to alerts. This not only saves time but also helps to reduce the risk of errors or mistakes that can occur when tasks are done manually.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing about it that I dislike

It saves time.
It does the boring part of the investigation for each alert and sends us enriched information.
It automates many workflow and reduces the possibility of making mistakes while doing manual work.
