Best platform of the kind I've used

  • September 05, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
- excellent availability
- visualizer makes it easy to understand stories
- very powerful
- super flexible - haven't found anything it can't do yet
What do you dislike about the product?
- UI needs a bit of polishing, but nothing game-breaking
- Learning curve can be a bit steep, but support is top-notch so solutions are easy to find
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We've migrated to Tines from a hybrid model that used Okta Workflows and Workato.

Tines is by far the more powerful of the platforms, and it has allowed us to have all our automations in a single location. We struggled with platform limitations and availability for Workflows and Workato, but so far we have not reached the limit of what Tines can do.

Streamlined Automation and Efficient Incident Response with Tines

  • September 05, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Tines offers an intuitive and user-friendly interface for creating automation workflows. Even team members with limited coding experience can design powerful automation sequences, which is a significant plus for our cross-functional teams.
What do you dislike about the product?
Tines, while user-friendly, can have a learning curve, especially for users who are new to automation and orchestration tools. Creating complex automation workflows may require some time and training to fully master.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tines helps us automate and streamline our incident response processes. Instead of manually handling each alert and incident, we've automated repetitive tasks, allowing our security team to focus on more complex and critical tasks. This has significantly reduced response times to security incidents, helping us mitigate threats faster. Also, tines provide rich contextual information for each incident, pulling data from various sources. This feature has been invaluable in helping our analysts quickly assess the severity and impact of an incident, allowing for more informed decision-making.

Excellent Product and Overall Team

What do you like best about the product?
The amount of integrations and the logic is amazing. Being at a vendor, I wish they would work with the little guys as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
As said above, give the little guys a shot at partnering/integrating.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are seeing Tines solve the onboarding/offboarding issue. This can be for just-in-time access or for a contractor with a specified contract length. It removes the need to always have IT provision accounts.

Powerful No-Code Automations

  • August 30, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The way Tines has been designed is super thoughtful and very focused on end-user experience. For once, a platform with great docs.

The way you can scope credentials to specific projects is super helpful when multiple teams are using the platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's a bit of a steep learning curve and not as many built in functions as other platforms. But once you overcome that, it's really great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As an IT org we have a lot of problems we need to solve, at speed. With a no-code platform like Tines, we're not writing difficult to maintain scripts or maintaining infra on top of that to run those scripts.

What do you dislike about the product?

Overall It's very good , What I liked the most about it is that even If I have not good at coding, I can still complete my tasks very easily and Tines have so many templet for simply we can use that is very usefull as for me.
What do you dislike about the product?
As for me I am not found anything, but ya I am noticed that some Doucmention are not properly. Like In python scripting Toolkit documentation I am facing some problem.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tines is primarily used for automation, such as Incident Response Acceleration, Reduction of alert fatigue, Cross-team collaboration, Efficient phishing response, etc. It was very helpful for me. I had to extract some logs from Sumo Logic and CrowdStrike, send them to VirusTotal to check whether the data I extracted is malicious or not. To perform this task, I created a Tines story, and it was very helpful for me

Very effective, user friendly SOAR

What do you like best about the product?
I've recenly started using Tines in our organisation to simplify some tasks, the product itself is very simple to use and their support is next level. We had dedidcated support for any issues or story creations who help us in an instant. The stories I've made so far have saved time for my team which we'd normally spend triaging and escalating where this can do very specific tasks automatically.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's difficult to say what I'm disliking about Tines, knowledge beofre hand around some different languages would be a huge benfit to people who are looking to do more advanced automation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tines is helping my team by automating very specific tasks which we'd normally spend a fair amount of time doing on a daily basis. We now have the ability to focus on other areas whilst we look into what else we can automate using Tines.
