What do you like best about the product?
Maximo has many features that helps maintain the Asset Management life cycle. The feature that I like the most is how you can clone the out of the box application and clone them and make changes as per your business needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Maximo is not user friendly. Most of the screens has lots of fields which are all not used. It requires many training sessions for the users to start using Maxio
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Maximo has helped solve many of the Business problems , like allowing the capability to customize the screens. We are able to customize the work order screen to create a light version and the business is happy.

Easy to navigate; Great functionality; Becoming more configurable without base code validation

Mobile capabilities (Anywhere); I have found it very rudimentary and users have needed to find a different solution.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mostly maintenance management at this point. The benefits are centered around an orderly and traceable maintenance backlog. However, data cleanliness remains a problem.

has helped to improved accountability, tracking, and reporting. robust platform that is easily configured to extend the application to organization-specific needs.

complex system that requires significant administrative overhead. end user interface is difficult to use and extracting meaningful data from the system requires fairly advanced understanding of the data structures that most end users do not have.

improve work completion rates, documenting work activities and costs to assets and locations. improving and documenting operational and technical processes.

That it is flexible to your needs, choose your own modules, easy to come back with suggestions on how to improve

too heavy and slow upgrading, an open catalog for the different modules that have been created (workflow etc)

Maximo allows a business to take control of their operational processes and enables them to due key analytics on Assets to allow spend efficiency and proper asset planning for now and the future.

Nothing specific that I dislike about Maximo.

Helping clients solve their operational issues. General a savings of 10-20% of operational spend occurs.

Maximo has best practices built into the solution, while allowing the freedom to configure/tailor the product to a company's processes - this is configuration not customization

Really not anything - maybe to have a stronger mobile offering.
