Lots of Features and Documented Really Well
What do you like best about the product?
Contentstack is very good with documentation and is able to be used by those who are both technical and non-technical. Contentstack's API is great and flexible with its standard API and even the GraphQL integration which has a great playground feature in the Contentstack UI.
What do you dislike about the product?
Due to the many features, Contentstack can have a steeper learning curve.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows for developers to ingest data by multiple content writers to be able to be displayed on the website.

A real CMS
What do you like best about the product?
It's a headless CMS. Giving us the power to develop and structure as we see fit for our enterprise. It's simple to use with excellent documentation. Integration is no challenge.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the UI could be improved. For example, the Entries would benefit from a hierarchy structure.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Contentstack relieves the need to develop and manage our own CMS. Reducing time spent administerings a system to hold our data
User friendly for a newbie
What do you like best about the product?
I am somewhat new to the world of contentstack and not someone who works in a traditional IT type role but I have found it to be mostly user friendly and intuitive enough to be able to navigate around and complete tasks with little trouble.
What do you dislike about the product?
For dislikes, I have found that the lag time in publishing content can vary and have run into a few bumps in the road with editing rich text.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Contentstack has helped me in my role specifically, to be able to easily and quickly update texts and images on our company website.

What do you dislike about the product?
Clunky UI - Not the most intuitive tool for new users. you really have to know exactly what you're looking for.
Clunky UI - when on a parent page and clicking into child components, there is no breadcrumb
Clunky UI - hard to search for components if new user and unaware of all component types/titles
Reporting - cannot get holisitic view/ report of what components are on which parent pages
Reporting - cannot get holistic view of parent pages that a component is referenced in

ContentStack Product Management Review
What do you like best about the product?
ContentStack provides a user friendly set of features and tools to manage all of my product and digital asset needs. I use the product every day. It makes integration with our POS very simple to maintain.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes navigating to the exact Content you are looking for or finding specific assets by name can be a little clunky.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
ContentStack helps make it easier to manage all of our SKUs for the web.
Easy to use but limited customizability compared to other website building tools.
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use, simplified, and few errors in uplaoding process.
What do you dislike about the product?
Live preview, which we are told by ContentStack team is available and should be accessible so long as we ask our administrator, we did that and it has been with IT for months, it is not available or accessible to us although it is a released feature that should be accessible. Not bad platform, but seems limited compared to many other website build tools that are more modern and customizable. Such as limited on image sizing on webapge, and cant put a full length image but only place an image and text split.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helps update pages, get content out in about 15 minute uploads.
Good for simple solutions
What do you like best about the product?
I like that you can customize the CMS, and add unique styling. I primarily use Contentstack to host the design system guidelines.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI is a bit of a learning curve to use. I wish you could sync assets from Figma versus having to upload them via PDF/SVG. This makes maintenace hard over time when the system scales or even small changes are needed in components.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Contentstack makes it easy to upload guidelines with little to no engineering effort.
Simplifying Page Creation for Non-Tech Teams
What do you like best about the product?
With Contentstack we enable the non-tech teams in our company to create landing pages without engineering support. Since we are in control of Contentstack, we can make sure that these teams follow a specifc page strcuture (by creating a defined template where they just populate the content) or allow them to be as creative as they want (by creating components that they can drag & drop and create the page the way they need).
We now have more around 10 non-tech teams creating more than 10 pages per day. This includes the Localisation team which uses a plugin to connect Contentstack to their L10n tool. Every time we create a new page, the team is notified automatically so they can work on it.
Contentstack also gives us great customer support. We have quarterly meetings with them, but it's also very easy to communicate with them if we need some urgent support, either via chat or via email

What do you dislike about the product?
Even though the UI is good in general, there are some cases where it could be improved. For example, if a page has a lot of fields, it can get very messy and hard to understand the content hierarchy.
Global fields are not very intuitive. We assumed that they would work in a certain way and then we made a small change in one global field that resulted in a massive loss of data. Thankfully, the support team helped us to retrieve the pages. The UI, however, didn't alert us that this would happen if we preceeded

A headless CMS with great features
What do you like best about the product?
Contentstack is a very secure platform, with a marketplace of integrations. It is very easy to use once configured. It has responsive customer support.
What do you dislike about the product?
Inconsistency in code naming conventions
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Contentstack is a very secure headless CMS which allows us to deliver content to our users in a suitable way,
Secure and scalable headless CMS
What do you like best about the product?
The Contentstack platform is ISO27001 certified and can provide SOC2 reports to customers. This was a requirement for our organisation to ensure we sufficiently secure sensitve and/or PII data.
What do you dislike about the product?
The licensing model for content types can be restrictive if the content structure is not organised appropriately. This required some redevelopment of our content and ways of working.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Contentstack as a component in a business critical web application. We previously self-hosted an alternative headless CMS solution, but we encountered significant issues with the security posture of that software, and with the available enterprise support models. Adopting Contentstack allowed us to address all of these issues - the software has high standards of security certification and assurance, and the support and customer success teams provide both day-to-day technical expertise and partnership with our strategic planning.
