User-Friendly UI but Slow Publishing and Notifications in Contentstack
What do you like best about the product?
It was easy to get a hang of Contentstack. Its UI is easy to navigate.
What do you dislike about the product?
When publishing an article or changing something within a published article, it takes multiple minutes for the article to uploaded or for the changes to come through. This is way too long in the journalistic business. Also, sending a push notification takes way too long.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Since using Contentstack, our articles are way better visible in for example Google Discover.
Enterprise powerhouse: Unbeatable scale, but bulk operations need TLC
What do you like best about the product?
It's the only CMS that makes my job of managing 100 + global sites feel truly seamless; the built-in localization and multisite features are a game-changer for speed. I love that my marketing team can now just grab the content "bricks" and build campaign pages autonomously without needing a developer for every single tweak. Its enterprise scalability and reliable performance mean we can push global campaigns live with total confidence.
What do you dislike about the product?
The limitations on bulk operations are the least helpful aspect; having to manually publish entries in small batches of 10 or 20 for large campaigns on 110 sites is a real bottleneck. Also, the Asset Manager can be clunky and buggy, often requiring workarounds to properly search for or upload creative files.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It moves us from a slow, fragmented system to a single, governed source of truth. We can now create a master piece of content once and syndicate/localize it to all 30+countries much faster, which is critical for compliance and accelerating global marketing campaign launches. This has dramatically reduced content duplication and the reliance on central developers for local-market updates.
Intuitive UI and Time-Saving Live Previews
What do you like best about the product?
I use Contentstack for content management across multiple websites, handling everything from copy and images to videos and site configurations. I love how it provides a centralized and user-friendly space, making it easy for even non-technical team members to use. The intuitive UI really stands out to me, as it simplifies navigation and usability significantly. Another feature that I find incredibly beneficial is the live preview, which is a huge plus for my workflow. It allows me to see changes in real time, enabling quick adjustments without needing to save first, thus saving time and ensuring that updates look exactly as desired. Lastly, the initial setup was straightforward thanks to the Contentstack starter kit, which was extremely helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the conditional showing of input fields in Contentstack a bit limited. Specifically, there's an issue when some fields have certain configurations that restrict their conditional display. For example, if a File input is set to 'Accept Images only,' it can't be conditionally shown or hidden, which limits flexibility and customization in displaying input fields.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Contentstack to centralize our content management, making it user-friendly for non-technical team members. Its intuitive UI and live preview save us time, ensuring real-time updates and adjustments without needing to save changes.
Flexible and Intuitive Headless CMS, but Setup and Pricing Can Be Challenging
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Contentstack is its headless architecture, which makes it extremely flexible for managing and delivering content across multiple platforms. The user interface is intuitive, and the API-driven model allows developers and content teams to work independently without blocking each other. I also appreciate how customizable and scalable it is, which makes it suitable for both small projects and enterprise-level deployments.
What do you dislike about the product?
The API configuration and environment setup can take time, especially for teams without strong technical experience. Additionally, pricing can feel high for smaller organizations, and some advanced features (like complex automation or granular permissions) require extra configuration or developer involvement.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Solves multi-channel content delivery and collaboration challenges, improving efficiency and consistency across platforms.
It is very versatile when implementing new landing pages on the website.
What do you like best about the product?
It is a very accessible platform when it comes to adding assets, entries, and components. Additionally, it offers a variety of tools that help improve the portal.
What do you dislike about the product?
Adding images to the components is quite complicated and laborious. Furthermore, the system does not always save the state you were in. For example, if you select an image that is in a folder located in the fifth position, after doing so you have to go through the entire path from the beginning again to select a new asset, as it does not remember the previous location.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It made my work much easier, especially when I needed to create new landing pages. The experience was much simpler and more efficient thanks to this tool.
Efficient Enhancements but Component Management Needs Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
I love how a lot of enhancements require minimal development work for website components; experimenting and approving new development features on testing environments can seamlessly be pushed to production with minimal page crashes or bugs. Implementation is also very easy - results are rendered instantly instead of going through a publication queue.
What do you dislike about the product?
Components can sometimes be difficult to track, especially on lengthy pages. If lengthy pages need to be restructured, individual components need to be expanded before dragged/dropped, as opposed to the name of the item being displayed on the display field. Duplicating components also come with challenges, as making any adjustments on the duplicated component will interfere with the original file - ideally, there should be a way to change content on the duplicated components without it interfering with the original component.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Speed, tracking, and rollback features are amazing - in case of any wrong input, versions can be rolled back instantly, reducing risk. The fact that content can all be managed in one place (rather than cushioning content among clusters of GUIDs across the CMS) helps with scalability and speed.
Intuitive CMS: Why Contentstack empowers our non-technical teams
What do you like best about the product?
Contentstack has become a core component of our content operations, serving as the central hub for both our website content and all of our CRM communications. As a non-technical user, my experience has been largely positive, especially regarding how quickly we’ve been able to scale our content output and onboard new team members.
For our non-technical teams, the user interface is incredibly intuitive and easy to use. This simplicity is a massive win, making the platform genuinely simple to use and to onboard users without needing a deep dive into code or complex documentation.
I also appreciate the platform's modular approach, which gives us many different content "modules" to choose from. This flexibility allows us to structure content exactly how we need it for different channels. For my daily work, adding assets and localized content is straightforward. I can easily manage multiple language versions of an entry, which has significantly streamlined our international publishing workflows. The quick adoption and high comfort level among our editors prove the success of its design.

What do you dislike about the product?
While the daily content editing is smooth, I do encounter a couple of recurring technical frustrations, particularly within the Asset Manager.
My biggest pain point is the occasional bug when uploading assets. The search function for a specific folder directly from the assets page often acts up. It will either fail to return results or just be generally unresponsive. The workaround is to click on "upload" and then search for the desired folder from that specific modal, which is a bit of a nuisance when I’m just trying to locate an existing image.
Also, while I find localization easy, I know other teams struggle with the platform’s limitations on bulk operations (like publishing more than 20 entries at once).

Contentstack's editor-friendly interface removes dependency on developers to create, edit or publish content, allowing us to work faster.

Contentstack platform review
What do you like best about the product?
The AI features and the simplicity of the translation process stand out, and I also find the translations to be quite accurate.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes, it takes a while for certain locales to update the content, which can be frustrating. Additionally, there are occasions when it seems like the system acts unpredictably, failing to add bullet points to the content even though they are clearly indicated in the CMS.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I appreciate how simple it is to use the translation options for the copy we include in our articles. The automation of user journeys is also a great feature, as it makes it much easier to target the right audience and should help improve conversions. Additionally, there are frequent updates on the latest technology and capabilities, which keeps us well informed.
