Turning Stories into Demos - How Storylane Changed the Game
What do you like best about the product?
The features of the demo creation with t simple UI which helps me to creates ease to use and makes the user to create demos perfectly for the customers to understand and get started with the product even before purchasing the product and see the action in beforehand.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing to dislike about storylane. Everything is made perfect to get started with the product for any users. Which are ease of integration and ease of implementation of various options which are built inside.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Users are able to see in live action how the product delivers the output even before purchasing the product also it gives them a confident way to understand that it is easy to use.

What do you like best about the product?
I think Storylane does an excellent job making sure that you have resources to learn how the product works and ensure you get it right. Beyond that, the product is fairly easy to get started with and has many use cases.
What do you dislike about the product?
I run into the occasional bug which is to be expected or there's a setting I can't quite find - but the support team clears everything up quickly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Showcasing our product experience to interested prospects that aren't quite ready to talk with sales

Short lead time from recording till publishing. Its arguably the easiest demo platform out there ive used

Lead capturing wasnt always as consistent as we’d hoped. If this matters to you, make sure to align with storylanes team to ensure proper integration with your csm

What do you like best about the product?
The ease of creating new new demo's so easily with the help of storylane and the analytics and insights provided by storylane is what it makes storylane a value additional tool that really helped my team who used to give a lot of demo or interact with small customers. Now the team is really able to focus more towards bigger customers where we really want those efforts to count.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing to dislike about it however improvement can be made around powerful integration with Hubspot and adding more insights to it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's helping my product marketing team create new demo flow and onboarding videos for our customers and users coming on the website.
It is also helping us save time for sales team where they were earlier speaking with a lot of Small office house office customers and now the team focuses on interacting with SMB and Mid market customers and we share collateral videos of the demo or walkthrough using storylane.

Easy way to create professional and engaging stories without the need to narrate/record videos. Very cost efficient
Great tool for product tours
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ease of use of Storylane and in particular how easy it is the connect to Hubspot to gain all your leads. The customer support is also great.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike there isn't an option to pull over into Hubspot when someone completes the tour.

Delivering a demo environment for prospects
Professional grade demo product that covers many needs!
What do you like best about the product?
Ability to capture in HTML to provide a more submersive experience for a user, to being able to work with simple screenshots to bring a demo to life including make a video with AI voiceover. Easy to implement and jump in and get started. Customer Support was always responsive and support from Managed Services team gave them custom help that was needed to make successful demos for conferences stand out even more.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some boxes and animation will move in demos and need to be repositioned. For screenshot demos, you need to adhere to a certain size otherwise they will change the look and feel of other screenshots. Works best with Chrome today, hopefully further full browser support in the future. Would like to see Enterprise support for separating files into different teams, providing sharing between teams or just exposing some demos in a read-only mode to others. Ability to add a video directly into a Buyer Hub rather than creating a page for it first.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We now have an ability to show our digital services and how they work, detailing levels of our products and services that weren't covered adequately with a YouTube video. Provide ways to have conversations at conferences and in the Sales field with customers so they see the services at work, how they are implemented, see the possibilities and get their questions answered for deeper customer conversations with account teams.

What do you like best about the product?
Storylane has been very useful in demonstrating product features, both in GTM and at trade shows.
We also use it in PLG strategies, and the results have been very satisfactory.
The ease of use and the unlimited number of users are our favorite factors.

What do you dislike about the product?
It would be great if we could insert demos into our products without the need for development teams, using, for example, integration snippets between Storylane and our products, just like useronboarding tools like Chameleon or Userguiding work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can demonstrate our products and features easily, quickly, and interactively, without the need for development teams to intervene.
Great Tool for Creating Demos
What do you like best about the product?
I found it really easy to create product demos and tours. Their selection of AI audio sounds much more human than I've seen in other tools. I really liked the ability to update demos and tours in Storylane and have the changes appear wherever the link had been placed or embedded, huge time saver!
What do you dislike about the product?
The Storylane watermark is on everything we create, and in the url unless we pay a very large upgrade fee. The fee is not cost effective for small businesses.

Storylane made it easy to create and update product demos and tours.
Saves us a ton of time and it’s actually fun to use

We use Storylane for two main things: on our website to show our B2B SaaS product and during customer training to explain specific features. It’s made both a lot easier. Before, we had to stop at every step, take screenshots, and piece everything together manually. Now, we just click through once and Storylane does the rest, screenshots, structure, everything. That alone saves us hours.
What’s also great: the AI functionality really speeds things up, especially when writing text or translating demos. That’s really useful when we need to create content in multiple languages. And we love the video export feature, we’ve used that to loop demos on a screen at trade fairs. No one has to click anything, and it still shows exactly what we want people to see.
All in all, it’s a tool we now use regularly because it helps us save time and create better, more engaging content.

What do you dislike about the product?
When we were getting started, choosing the right plan was a bit confusing. Some of the features we were interested in weren’t clearly marked in the pricing overview, so it took a few emails to clarify what was included. Not a huge issue, but it could definitely be more transparent. Once we got going, everything worked smoothly.
One more thing to keep in mind: we use TYPO3 for our website, and to embed the interactive demos properly, we had to ask our web agency to create a custom HTML element. Not really Storylane’s fault, but something others might want to know if they use a CMS with stricter embedding rules.

We wanted to give website visitors a better first impression of our product , without forcing them to book a demo right away. With Storylane, we can embed interactive product tours directly on our site, so potential customers can explore key features on their own.
