Empowering product tours that are a game changer in lead generation and user onboarding!

What do you like best about the product?
It makes it dead simple to create product tours. I especially like the full HTML capture mode for it's ability to include details of embedded windows and menus.

I really like its flexibility with editing HTML which makes it super easy to anonymize personal information. Also, the dynamic and relative embedded dates feature ensures that the content never looks stale.

I've been using the new AI voice-over addition in my tooltips and it is working brilliantly!

Lastly, I can't say enough about the fantastic support I get...right through the chat window.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find myself wishing for more options with embedding the tours on our website, like the ability to adjust the size, select a specific thumbnail, and play options. A slider to determine what is included in the animated GIF preview would be wicked awesome.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This is the fastest way for me to give prospective customers a glimpse of what our product is like without having to go through a formal live demo. Before this, we spent a massive amount of time recording and editing demo videos that would be dated within a couple of months.

Great tool to easily share interactive demos

What do you like best about the product?
Using Storylane demos has helped us in so many ways. We use them on our website, our sales and BDR team uses them for leads, and we also use them in support articles for clients. It allows clients and prospects to feel like they're in our product, without actually setting them up with an actual demo account login. Storylane is easy to update and maintain compared to videos. It's become a core part of how we share our product with others.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing! It's easy to use, and its value was easily understood by our own team to implement.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Storylane helps us maintain accurate walkthroughs of our product in a low effort way. It's much easier to update a Storylane demo vs. producing a new video every time our product changes. It helps leads and prospects experience parts of our product in an interactive and guided manner without having to give access to an actual demo account. And it helps our clients provide a visual and interactive way to learn about how to use parts of our product alongside support articles.

Simply A Better Way to Demo Software

What do you like best about the product?
Prospects can move through demos at their own pace and pause to study what else is presented on a screen in addition to the called out feature.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am enchanted with the platform. There is nothing that I feel is a negative.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have been on the receiving end of many live software demos. Typically, the sales person, who knows the product cold, blows through the demo faster than I can absorb the information he/she is presenting. Like drinking from a fire hose. I would end up with a broad, general idea of the software's capability, but not enough detail to make a comfortably informed decision. The primary benfit I see from Storylane interactive demos is that they allow prospects to move through the information at their own pace. They can read, and re-read if necessary. They can pause to look around and study other aspects of the screen. They can take all of the time they need to assimilate as much information as they need to make a good decision.

A secondary benefit I hadn't really antipated was new sales people using our interactive demos to come up to speed on our products. With the callouts as a crutch, a first-week-on-the-job newbie can do a reasonably competent demo. As they build skills and knowledge, they can use the interactive demos as a foundation and go off-script to elaborate or expanded on features and functionality.

The platform was exceptionally easy to bring myself up the learning curve. I fumbled thru one practice demo to learn the system. Maybe an hour or so. Then I banged 20 demos ready to go to market.

Great Tool for Website Onboarding

What do you like best about the product?
This tool is easy to use from the start. Storylane offers a lot of online instruction and customer support was very friendly and eager to help. Creating and editing demos are easy. I like that it offers a number of features. I'm using Storylane to create onboarding demos for a new website. I have found onboarding demos more effective and easier to implement than giving new users PDF to read.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't encountered any negatives this tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
New website users were not reading the PDF I created on our new features and instructions on how to make purchases. I needed to find a fast, easy to use way to visually show users how to use our site. Storylane was the perfect option. I've created a number of onboarding demos and am already getting fewer questions and errors from new users.

What do you like best about the product?
Storylane is a great tool for creating interactive product demos! It is very easy to use and has some very innovative features. Their HTML capture mode is really impressive. It scrubs the HTML code on the page that you are capturing and allows you to edit any text or elements in your product without digging into the code on your product or making changes to your demo envirement. This allows you to tailor demos for specific industries, customers, or use cases.

It is really easy to implement into your teams. The tool is very user friendly, integrates with various marketing and sales tools, and is easy to learn.

Storylane's customer success team has been really great providing us with plenty of support. I am really impressed with how often they are pushing out new features. They really listen to their customers and use the feedback to drive the product!
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing that comes to mind is that occasionally interactive demos show differently on different monitor sizes. So if you create a demo that is optimized for one monitor, someone using that same demo with a smaller monitor may not have as good of an experience.

Overall not a big deal at all though as they always offer a "Show in fullscreen" button that shows the demo how it is designed to be shown.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Storylane is giving our customers and prospects a preview of what our product looks and feels like so that they can "try before they buy". It helps put context to the demos that we show and let's them go at their own pace so they fully understand the value of our solution.

We are also using it for lead generation which has been really useful.

What do you like best about the product?
It's easy to stand up a few product tours with just a few hours of work. The tool is intuitive to use, although there is some trial and error when creating your first tour. The tool integrates well with HubSpot, providing insights to our Sales Team about what exact products and features our prospective customers are interested in.
What do you dislike about the product?
The heaviness of the tours on our website have caused some delays in our page load time. Storylane is working to optimize this and were open to our feedback when we brought up our concerns.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed a lower-lift way to get our prospective customer's eyes on our product. Rather than having to schedule a live demo with our Sales Team, which can be daunting for some potential users, they can get a self-service experience and preview of the product before they "commit" to a demo.

What do you like best about the product?

It's just missing some recording tools to better facilitate the replacement of parts in the recordings. But I am confident that those tools will come very soon.

What do you like best about the product?
We just started using Storylane last month, and within minutes of pushing out our first video, we had an unknown lead turn into a significant opportunity. This tool is easy to use, and you control how little or how much information to share with your prospects as you walk them through the demo step-by-step. In the new age of prospects wanting to self-serve as much info as possible until they're pretty sure they like your product and want a live demo, this helps fill the void we were experiencing in our marketing funnel. We're a SaaS company focused on Enterprise-sized prospects, and this is a fantastic tool. Their support has also been great with straightforward responses/fixes when we hit a snag. It's also seamlessly integrated into Hubspot so our sales team can see when a person has filled out the form at the end. I can't recommend it enough!
What do you dislike about the product?
2 items aren't dislikes, but additional options to bring into the product. 1) I would like to customize the urls for the demos, so it isn't just /CompanyName/Storylane/RandomBunchOfNumbers. This would be a significant value-add to the sophistication of the product, so I can't wait to hear when this has been added as an option! and 2) I wish the clicks and associated company names could somehow be fed into Hubspot even though they wouldn't be associated with a particular contact.
