What do you dislike about the product?
Enablement could be much better – I wasn’t guided well enough on how to efficiently build demos myself
Creating and sharing personal demo flows felt cumbersome, especially when generating links
Managing multiple demo flows (5–6+) became time-consuming and slowed down daily sales wor

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It enables individualized, role-specific demos without the need to build and maintain complex test or sandbox environments
It makes it easy to reach multiple stakeholders in larger buying teams, each with different priorities and use cases
For me, this means:
Less technical overhead and dependency on internal setups
Faster, more relevant sales conversations because every stakeholder sees what matters to them
Better alignment in complex deals, even when not everyone joins the same call

Easy Recording and Sharing That Helps Prospects Understand Features
What do you like best about the product?
So easy to record and send out to all our prospects. Our customers get a easy way to understand our features.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to build different connections to Slack. When you have a large volume its har to be selective and sort the importens out.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps us go to market with a variety of workflows that support our customers in their day-to-day work. It also makes it straightforward to share short demos with prospective customers who don’t have time for a live walkthrough, allowing them to take the tour whenever it’s most convenient for them.
Easy-to-Use Chrome Extension, But Video Editing and Pricing Need Work.
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use. The Chrome extension is great!
What do you dislike about the product?
Not able to edit videos. Some behaviour is inconsistent when recording videos. Pricing gap between starter and growth.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Interactive demos
Powerful, Intuitive Demos That Save Time and Agency Costs
What do you like best about the product?
Storylane has made creating product demos painless. It’s powerful yet intuitive, and it completely removes the need to outsource production to an agency. This translates into thousands of dollars in savings along with time back in my schedule. I feel completely empowered with this platfiorm.
What do you dislike about the product?
They seem to still be working out the bugs on the service delivery. Case in point, I get very frustrated with the "download video" option. It is suppose to trigger an email within 5 minutes that includes a link to my download. However, almost every time, the email never arrives. I have to contact chat support to get this to come through,.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Product demonstrations and feature walk throughs.
Easy, Interactive Demos for Training—Could Use More Customization Options
What do you like best about the product?
It’s much easier to set up demos and come back later to update them, rather than trying to re-record or edit video demos. The customer also gets a more interactive experience. These demos are also a great way to set up onboarding and training.
What do you dislike about the product?
Would like to have more customisation options and modals
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Training documentation and tutorials for international customers, especially in cases where on-site training isn’t possible.
Storylane Scales Realistic Interactive Demos Fast
What do you like best about the product?
How easy it makes it to create something that actually feels real to the buyer.
You can spin up interactive demos fast without engineering help, and they do not feel like fake click-through tours. Prospects can explore at their own pace, click into real product flows, and understand value without needing a live call. That alone has been huge for us at TOFU.
It also fits really well into a modern B2B funnel. We use Storylane everywhere: on product pages, in emails, in outbound, and as a follow-up after demos. It lets us show the product before someone is ready to talk, and reinforce the story after they do.
The analytics are another big win. You can see what people actually click, where they drop off, and which demos are driving real engagement. That makes it easy to iterate and build demos that convert instead of guessing.
Overall, it helps us scale product storytelling without slowing the team down.
ps: their people are amazing & very helpful!

What do you dislike about the product?
nothing very much - what I disliked has improved more over time, such as the analytics experience & UI issues. But they listen well to customers:)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Storylane basically helps us show the product without needing to be on a call every time.
For onboarding, it has been great for walking customers through core workflows without overwhelming them or forcing another meeting. New users can click around, learn at their own pace, and come back to it later instead of digging through docs or waiting for a training session.
On the marketing side, we use it on low-funnel product pages. If someone is already evaluating, they do not want a long explanation or a form. They just want to see how it works. Storylane lets them do that instantly, which has helped a lot with confidence and follow-through.
Sales loves it as a leave-behind. After a call, reps send a demo that shows exactly what was discussed. Prospects can rewatch, share it internally, and get aligned without us re-running the same demo over and over.
Net takeaway: fewer meetings, less friction, and buyers get to actually experience the product instead of guessing what it does.

Effortless Demo Creation with Intuitive Organization
What do you like best about the product?
storylane is incredibly user-friendly when it comes to the core build. I’ve found that building demos is fast, and deploying or managing changes is seamless. The organization of projects into folders is very intuitive, and the version management features make it easy to iterate without losing previous work.
What do you dislike about the product?
While the platform excels at the technical side of demo creation, the AI content creator could be more robust. I’ve found it struggles to generate contextually accurate text, often requiring significant manual editing to get the messaging just right for the specific demo use case.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest problem it solves for us is content scalability. We need to create both high-level sales demos and deep-dive technical education material; Storylane allows us to do both from the same captured project using its intuitive versioning and folder management. This benefits us by saving hours of production time and giving us a centralized, organized library of assets that are easy to update and deploy instantly.
AI Features Make Demo Creation Effortless
What do you like best about the product?
The new AI features make it much easier to create demos, as you only need to edit the results to match your specific messaging and preferences.
What do you dislike about the product?
At this moment, I truly can't think of any drawbacks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's great to be able to quickly and easily demonstrate what our solution is capable of, without the need to prepare a customized demo or schedule a lengthy hour-long call to walk people through the features.
User-friendly demos to showcase value of product
What do you like best about the product?
Easily to use and manipulate, especially for features that are still in production
User-friendly for Sales, Support and Education content
Love frequent improvements

What do you dislike about the product?
Can be glitchy at times with GIF creation
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating demos for Sales and Support content that is engaging and showcases the value of our platform
Great for Creating Demos
What do you like best about the product?
Overall it is a helpful tool for me as someone who works in Customer Experience. I like how easy it is to capture screenshot demos using their browser extension. No need to spend hours learning the product. It is intuitive!
What do you dislike about the product?
The AI voiceover feature works pretty well but as with any AI, it's important to review all pages/ translations, as it can get a little wonky with intonation and pronunciation. Would be helpful to have better file organization in the demo library for easier navigation and staying organized.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Reducing the technical requirements to create and maintain product tutorials compared to IORAD and the like.
