Magic Software
What do you like best about the product?
It is super easy to use and the functionality blew my mind.
As a product marketing manager I am struggling sometimes to get a demos and nice videos to showcase new functionaltiy fast and quickly. Usually I struggle with testing data that I cant present and video creation from scratch takes time.
I can create create demos for users in a seconds. I am able to quickly record our app and it turns quickly into demo that I can adjust, change data and names to fit my different purposes. I started to use it for demo video, where I prepare demo recordings for video guy and he quickly edit and prepare video.
On top of that customer service is top notch.

What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it has tiny bugs, but customer service is something that I ve never experienced before. They are super fast and they solve all your problems quickly.

Multifaceted and Easy to Use
What do you like best about the product?
The onboarding experience is great, the platform is easy to use and intuitive, and it's versatile for the different use cases we have. Our whole company is finding ways to use it and we've had great feedback from all of them.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a few restrictions, and it can be hard to get the aspect ratio right if you're using both HTML and plain screenshots. The responsiveness could be improved, when using on smaller devices.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Storylane allows us to create training and demos for various departments in our business. Product showcasing and demos, internal training, new feature walkthroughs to name a few.
Simple, but powerful...
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use and feature-rich without the complexity I experienced from other interactive demo providers. My contact at Storylane, Nalin, has been a pleasure to work with, and he always keeps me updated on new feature releases. Speaking of releases, I've been super impressed by the relevancy of each feature that is being released.
What do you dislike about the product?
No dislikes. There's an opportunity to bring these demos to life by providing a "wrapper" around the demo. The wrapper could be an outline of a cell phone or tablet. I want my prospects to feel like they're using my solution in real life. I know this could be achieved with a web designer on my side, but it would be awesome if available from Storylane out of the box.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can't offer free trials of my enterprise software, so this gets pretty close to me being able to do so.
Thoughtful, extensive and easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
- Storylane's HTML Capturing is by far the and most reliable to use out of other competitors.
- Ability to enter and exit guided and non-guided modes within the same demo

What do you dislike about the product?
- Occasionally buggy
- Unable to undo changes when editing guides. No version control and every change is saved automatically.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We created a demo tour that educates the customer how to use the most basic features of the product, proving that it is easy to use as well.
Nice tool for sharing an interactive demo to your customers.
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use for both sales teams and customers, helping them to reduce number of calls and demonstrations.
What do you dislike about the product?
Product should be mature to be helped by Storylane, otherwise you might have to change sequences frequently.

What do you like best about the product?
The UX of the finished product is what really stands out for me. The implementation and integration of storylane is super quick and flexible. We used it extensively for a few days and now it runs on autopilot until the documentations need to be changed again.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the dashboard coupled with the pricing model sometimes a bit confusing. I am excited for future use cases and features storylane may bring!

It helps our users to understand our product from their perspective, as they are being guided through various complications in "first person".
Great tool for product demos
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use - Storylane was very intuitive.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was an easier way to make sure all the screenshots were the same size if they were uploaded rather than using the plugin.

We needed an easy way to show a demo on our website - Storylane sovled that issue.

What do you dislike about the product?
Well, I feel there's room for improvement:
- Backup options for demos created
- AI Voice-over Tool: Needs improvement in the way it pronounces few texts. Also, the voiceover fails to auto-play in the first step of the demo
- Option to enable/disable autoplay of voiceovers in the demo, when creating the demo

Interactive Walkthroughs - The demos are now more interactive and fluid.
Very easy to use, a lot of features that are clear to use.

Storylane offers a very easy-to-use system to create interactive demos that we use across our website. Clients like seeing the system at their own time and pace.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not see any problems with Storyline, it does what I need it to do and creates a very high-end, end product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Storylane takes away the need to go back and forth with a client to book a demo of our software. The demo is interactive and the client can go through it at their time.
Storylane is the perfect addition to your sales toolbox
What do you like best about the product?
What we like most about Storylane is the user friendlyness and how it easily allows you to create quick intuititve demos/walkthroughs of your products. We use Storylane for all our product showcases to our customers, as well as custom manuals for our products. It is also very easy to share your showcases with a quick link or integrate/embed them in your own platform, when doing this there are many options available for tracking and analytics.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is currently not possible to add videos to a product showcase in Storylane. This would allow us to showcase our products in even more detail.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Storylane is helping our business by being able to easily automate the creation of product demos and manuals. Previously we had to use manual screen recordings with voiceovers, but we found that it was more difficult to approach our customers this way.
