Intuitive Demo Builder and Supportive Account Team
What do you like best about the product?
The demo builders are incredibly intuitive and easy to use. We had our first demo live in only a few hours after getting started. The onboarding process was great, with direct communication and proactive follow-up from the Storylane team.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's an evolving category and platform, so there's still some areas, like reporting, that could be more robust and flexibile.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're using Storylane to deliver pre-Sales access to what our platform looks like. It's facilitating more direct sign ups but also a more efficient live sales process.

Storylane is extremely user-friendly and highly intuitive, making it very easy to navigate.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be great to have a few more customization options available without needing to upgrade.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Storylane made it possible for me to present our SaaS platform using simple screenshots, eliminating the need to create a full demo video. This approach enabled website visitors to experience our platform in action and provided them with a clear walkthrough of how it can be used.
Professional Embeds, But Slide Duplication Needs Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to embed content into web pages works great. The presentation is very professional

I am unable to copy slides and paste them into different storylanes. This makes for a lot of repetitive work.

Storylane forms the foundation of our software support portal, in order to walk users through various use cases.
Effortless Demos for Sales, But Pricey Upgrades
What do you like best about the product?
It's very easy to get started with and use. This tool is perfect for sales, making it simple to conduct demos with clients. It's also excellent when you need to send a demo to a client.
What do you dislike about the product?
The price increase from the base level is quite high, making it expensive.

What do you like best about the product?
how easily you can build your guided and interactive demos + AI is working properly. super easy to use and tons of features even for a free plan so you can actually see the benefits from it. Voiceover is working great as well and it's super user-friendly on each step. You can easily set it up from day one, add it to your website or share it directly. We even added it to our Gamma deck as an easy guide.

none so far, maybe if we tested the premium version, but everything is working out for us

A lot easier than doing a screen recording and a video manually + editing, you can just add a voiceover and do an interactive demo in 20 minutes or less.

What do you dislike about the product?
- It is unfortunate that some customization elements are not available in the templates (for example, the color of the steps at the bottom of a demo can only be changed from the demo itself, so you always have to remember to make sure the color matches my company's branding).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Storylane allows me to easily and quickly create demos for the knowledge base I am building on my tool. My clients and prospects can intuitively see each feature of my software through the demos. It's more enjoyable than a presentation video and takes less time for me to create.

What do you dislike about the product?
As with any SaaS tool like this, the tiered pricing and gated content is a little frustrating. But you can do a lot on the more basic packages.

We have a complex product that, because of our industry and the competitiveness, needs to be 'hidden' this allows us to give a very controlled platform walk through without showing off sensitive areas/information
