Intuitive, Streamlined Demo Creation with Powerful Viewer Analytics
What do you like best about the product?
Storylane is extremely intuitive and easy to use. I really appreciate the Chrome extension, which makes capturing screenshots and demo videos feel very streamlined. Learning the best practices can take a couple of iterations, but once you get the hang of it, adding voiceover, hotspots, and zoom features is intuitive and genuinely useful.
The support features, from documentation to AI are mostly helpful. There's more to refine in their AI elements, so I don't tend to use them too much.
I love the analytics feature and seeing how far visitors have made it into my demo. It helps me refine the demo and ensure I'm building for the right audiences.
Overall, I would recommend Storylane!

What do you dislike about the product?
The AI features still feel fairly rudimentary and could use more refinement. I tried the voice-over option, and the intonation sounded unnatural. The AI build feature also seems to make a lot of assumptions; it would work better if it clarified my intent and goals a bit more before trying to build the demo for me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Storylane makes creating polished, refined demos faster and easier than ever. I no longer need to rely on native screen capture to record a video where I might mess up and then have to reshoot. Instead, I can go step by step using the helpful extension, and then focus on post-editing by adding hotspots, tool tips, zoom, and animations to guide the viewer’s attention. The end result looks very professional, even though the demo itself comes together incredibly quickly.
Detailed Navigator with Click Descriptions, but Missing Voiceover AI
What do you like best about the product?
I like the navigator and the way it shows details, especially how it’s able to read app click descriptions.
What do you dislike about the product?
There could have been voice over AI implemented as well

Easy to use, and the AI functionality seems useful so far.

I need to see whether we can manage with our current Starter plan. The jump up to Growth is pretty big, and I’m not sure it’s still worth it at that point.

This helps us show our product to prospects in an easy, user-friendly way.
Easy-to-Use Tool for Creating Interactive Demos Fast
What do you like best about the product?
It’s easy to use, and I was able to create interactive demos quickly.

So far, it’s been working as expected and includes the features I need.

I’m able to provide potential customers with on-demand demos whenever needed.
Intuitive Navigation and Key Features in 1–2 Clicks
What do you like best about the product?
Intuitive menu navigation (significantly improved after the update) and most features are accessible with just 1-2 clicks.
What do you dislike about the product?
I always click the icon for replace background, when ein want to change the layout. Furthermore, the dot in the tooltips constantly changes color and is not consistent.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Storylane to give new customers an initial overview of our product. Our software requires a lot of explanation, and this allows us to explain the first steps right from the start. We also plan to use Storylane to create a complete onboarding package. This saves us many hours in personal meetings and helps with conversions rate.
Easy-to-Use UI with Fast, Intuitive Demo Building and Helpful Tracking
What do you like best about the product?
The UI in general, it is easy to use without much training. Building demos is fast and intuitive. The tracking functionality to see who is watching your video/demos
What do you dislike about the product?
I find it still a bit rigid or not so clear how to use to do things such zooms, create a proper click through presentation. The user move ahead or back like a presentation, not so easy doing it like if they were running an app

Helping sending a post read or extra capabilities not discussed in a fast fashion way
Super Easy Storylane Setup and Editing
What do you like best about the product?
Super easy to use - setting up and amending storylanes is very straightforward.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be great if you could edit images within storylane - for example, switching out a logo.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's a cost-effective tool which makes self-guided demos of our platform for our partners and customers super easy. We've been using it a few years now and we generally chop and change with tools like this as better ones come into the market, however we haven't considered this with Storylane.
Smart AI Features and Analytics Make Interactive Demos Effortless
What do you like best about the product?
The smart AI features and streamlined process for capturing visuals made the process of creating an interactive demo much smoother than I expected. The analytics features are also really useful and help to surface intent.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't dislike anything, it's a great platform!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helping users get a taste of a product before diving into a proper demo or trial, which is notoriously a much harder sell. This helps demonstrate the value of SaaS products so prospects progress.
Simple, Easy SOP and KB Article Creation
What do you like best about the product?
I like the product’s simplicity and how easy it is to create SOPs and KB articles.
What do you dislike about the product?
Up until recently, I wasn’t able to export to PDF. Now that problem has been solved!

We needed a clear way to show our customers how to use the product, and this solves that problem.
Effortless AI Avatar Demos Without Recording Yourself
What do you like best about the product?
That I can create demos with AI avatars, and I dont need to record myself

The AI voices can be a little bit more realistic
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I needed to record demos myself and that takes a lot of times, rerecord etc., it saves a lot of time for me.
