Interactive No-Code Demos That Boost Engagement and Conversions
What do you like best about the product?
Storylane’s biggest upside is that it enables interactive, no-code product demos that let prospects experience the product instantly, increasing engagement and conversion without needing live sales calls.
It also empowers marketing and sales teams to create demos without engineering support, speeding up go-to-market and scaling product-led growth.
It also empowers marketing and sales teams to create demos without engineering support, speeding up go-to-market and scaling product-led growth.
What do you dislike about the product?
Storylane can feel limiting because its demos are largely screenshot-based, so frequent product UI changes create ongoing manual maintenance.
Costs may increase as you scale users. It would be good to allow multiple users working on same group of demos in a common folder.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating quick demo of various solutions. We need to manage and maintain good number of prototypes.
Elevates Engagement with Interactive Demos
What do you like best about the product?
I really like the ability of Storylane to showcase the real feel of the product while maintaining creative control. Being able to add custom messages and guided tool tips on top of actual product screens is a massive level up from a flat recording. For a creator, the platform is incredibly easy to build in—I can spin up a comprehensive tour without any prior training. This allows me to focus on the narrative and user experience rather than fighting with the software. The setup was virtually instant, and so intuitive that I learned the ropes in less than twenty-five minutes. There’s no complex onboarding required, and the Chrome extension integrates very well. You can have a polished demo ready in less than a day, which is perfect for a team that needs to iterate quickly without waiting on technical support.
What do you dislike about the product?
From a designer's perspective, I feel there is significant room for more creativity. The tool is almost too easy to use, which sometimes limits the complexity and visual depth I can add. I would like to see more advanced options for the progress bar and a more robust extension that handles dynamic UI changes more smoothly. Currently, it feels a bit rigid for someone who wants to push the boundaries of product motion. I'd also love to see more sophisticated layout controls on the early plans.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Storylane solves the problem of engagement in traditional passive videos by allowing users to feel like they are navigating live software. It humanizes technology, making it easier for viewers to relate features to their use cases, significantly increasing engagement and demo bookings.
Versatile Tool for Interactive Product Demos
What do you like best about the product?
I really like the ability to swap out single screens without changing the entire tour, as it's the most practical feature for us. This feature keeps our content evergreen. I also appreciate the usability for a marketing team being top tier, allowing us to create context-rich tours for specific use cases quickly. The interactivity Storylane provides is something videos can't match, as it allows users to feel the flow of the software instead of just watching a recording. Additionally, Storylane is an easy-to-use platform without requiring a massive technical lift, which means our team was able to start shipping demos almost immediately after signing up. It truly lives up to the promise of being a no-code solution, allowing marketing to own it entirely.
What do you dislike about the product?
My primary frustration is with the limitations in the gating process. On the lower tiers, you are often restricted to very basic lead capture fields, like only asking for an email. I'd like more flexibility to qualify leads with custom fields, like job title or company size, without necessarily being forced into the highest enterprise pricing tier. We've also run into occasional bugs where the platform can feel a bit fidgety during complex edits, which can be a minor annoyance when you're on a tight deadline.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Storylane to let prospects explore our product's UI at their own pace, reducing unnecessary meetings and increasing their quality. It keeps our content evergreen and is easier than video, ensuring we stay agile with minimal effort.
Easy Demo Creation
What do you like best about the product?
It's very easy to create demos + hubs, and I appreciate how easy it is to view relevant data.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I dislike so far is that demos are a little clunky to edit. I appreciate that it's so easy to record a demo, but I often find that my demos end up with many more pages than I expected. I also find the AI text not very helpful, but I appreciate that it puts the tooltip in the right place.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Storylane is making it easier to create demos of upcoming features for our internal team, prospects, and clients.
Easy to Use and Time-Saving Walkthrough Creation with Storylane
What do you like best about the product?
Storylane is very easy to use once you set up the chrome extension. Furthermore, the prefilled text it creates for the steps helps reduce the amount of time required to write in the documentation. Plus, the AI voice over is a nice touch.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish it was easier to upload a video to create a walkthrough.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Storylane is helping us create walkthroughs for setting up complicated integrations. It's also allowing prospects to explore the features of our software at their own pace in an interactive way.
Storylane Makes Creating Short, Smooth Product Demos Effortless
What do you like best about the product?
Storylane makes it incredibly easy to put together short product demos and use them in a variety of ways. It’s simple to create, edit, and add content, which makes the whole process feel smooth and straightforward. I highly recommend it for anyone who wants to make it easy for customers to demo your product.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes Storylane captures and inserts a video into the screenshot demo where it doesn’t really make sense. However, it’s easy to delete it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Storylane helps us create demos for customers, showing our products and how to use specific features.

Storylane Makes Creating Interactive Product Demos Fast and Easy
What do you like best about the product?
Storylane helps me create interactive product demos and guided walkthroughs with very little setup. I can build clear, easy-to-follow demo flows to showcase the most important parts of a product—whether it’s a standard product demo, a training walkthrough, a course flow, or a portal-style experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
If I had to pick a downside, it’s the learning curve at the beginning. The basics are quick, but it takes a bit of time to understand the best way to structure a demo.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One of the most useful parts is that the navigation and demo steps are autogenerated, and then I can edit them afterwards to adjust the structure, add context, or tailor the experience for a specific audience.
Easy to Navigate and Get Polished Demos Running in Minutes
What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy to use and navigate the platform is. Instead of building walkthroughs from scratch, everything is mapped out in a clean, structured way. You can also tweak it when you want to add your own spin. It enables you to get polished demo up and running in minutes. The fact that it integrates with Hubspot is also great.
What do you dislike about the product?
Might want to use a few more functionalities in the free plan to decide on the purchase decision.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using it to create demos that are easy to send across and are interactive, without the sales team spending time in giving demos to the potential clients.
Simple, Powerful Way to Showcase Our Product on Our Customers’ Time
What do you like best about the product?
It’s a simple yet powerful solution that lets you clearly demonstrate how to use your product. Not everyone wants a live demo, but this gives people the chance to explore the product on their own time. I also love the insights, like the locations and even the companies of the people who have downloaded the information.
What do you dislike about the product?
For a single demo, I think this is a great solution. However, I’d like to see more competitive pricing for running multiple demos—for example, if I split my demo into smaller chunks. Having to create multiple demos ended up making it quite expensive for me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Not everyone wants to sit through a demo, so this is a great way for people to remotely check out your solution. Being able to see who has viewed your demo is key to understanding where interest is coming from and which prospects are engaging. The data also shows where people drop off, which is really helpful for spotting friction points and making informed changes to improve future demos.
