What do you dislike about the product?
Some design fuctions are applied globally, others aren't and have to be implemented in every single demo which can be time-consuming
Intransparency of the way content can be gated (in which package)
Some bugs in the UI (e.g. when changing to another another guide in the demo, from hotspot to lead form) you cannot return to the previous guide-format

Great for sales enablement and onboarding, though advanced users might wish for deeper analytics and more complex branching logic. Overall, a solid choice for making polished, shareable demos fast.

Storylane solves the challenge of showing a product’s value without scheduling a live demo or giving access to a real environment. It lets you create interactive, guided experiences that prospects can explore anytime, which saves time for sales teams, shortens the sales cycle, and helps qualify leads earlier. For marketing, it provides a way to engage visitors with hands-on product interaction, increasing interest and conversion rates.

As a marketer, Storylane is a game-changer for how we present and promote our product. It strips away the usual complexity of demo creation and gives me a no-code, highly intuitive platform where I can build interactive, polished walkthroughs in minutes—no need to wait for engineering. The ability to create guided demos, sandbox experiences, and a centralized demo hub means I can tailor our presentations for different stages of the buyer journey, whether it’s top-of-funnel awareness or hands-on evaluation. Personalization is where Storylane truly shines; with dynamic tokens, I can customize images, text, and flows for specific accounts, making every interaction feel tailored and relevant. The built-in analytics are just as impressive, offering deep insights into who’s viewing our demos, how they’re engaging, and what resonates most, which directly informs our follow-up strategy. Seamless integrations with our CRM and marketing automation tools ensure every lead and interaction is captured without extra work.
What do you dislike about the product?
The design customization options, while clean and functional, can feel somewhat limited for marketers who want highly branded, pixel-perfect control over every element. The analytics dashboard, though insightful, could benefit from deeper segmentation and comparative reporting over time to help track trends more effectively.

Speed to demo creation. It has been a powerful tool in reducing the resources required in order to get our product demos into market.

What do you like best about the product?
Storylane has been an invaluable tool for our team. Its interactive demos enable us to provide prospects with customized product walkthroughs tailored to their specific use cases, which prevents our presentations from being too generic. The seamless data integration with Marketo allows for tracking and personalized follow-up messaging based on a user's journey. The Storylane team has been an exceptional partner, offering quick and effective support through our shared Slack channel and proactively brainstorming with us to optimize our demo tours.

Nothing comes to mind when I think about anything I dislike.

Storylane is improving our prospect experience by providing self-guided, interactive tours of the Collibra platform. This allows potential customers to learn at their own pace, find answers to their questions, and determine if our solution fits their use case. The tour then seamlessly guides qualified prospects on how to connect with our team for more information.

Simple use. It is very easy to create digital instructions.

Additional features, in my perception, are quite expensive.

Customers expect information long before a request is made. To get a general impression, virtual demos are very good.

What do you like best about the product?
Storylane is both intuitive and a breeze to use. This combined with super helpful customer support for any questions you need answering and their comprehensive documentation makes it a must have for any startup seeking to bring onboard new investors or partners. The ways in which it can enrich your product showcase are endless.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be nice if there were more voice avatars with different accents. They were all American, so we decided to just use a voiceover so we could use a British accent. It would also be nice if it was easier to add image slides with no modal option. These are minor upgrades I believe could add extra value to the product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It puts the demo storytelling in your hands, so you can produce the narrative in house without outsourcing to a third party.
Delightful tool!
What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy it was to capture a video screenshot demo. Adding tooltips was a breeze, too. I also love the zoom-in feature and the ability to add screens from another demo.
What do you dislike about the product?
No downsides as such, but the tool gets very laggy when I have a lot of screens. I wonder if deleting some screens or videos from the library (not inserted in the demo) would help?
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am the primary pre-sales person giving live demos of our software. Storylane helped me create a self service demo that can be used by our sales team too, without having to involve me everytime.

What do you like best about the product?
There is a minimal learning curve. It is very intuitive and user-friendly. The demo videos can be used for multiple purposes. Whether it's a training video, a recorded demo session, or a marketing campaign, Storylane is the perfect tool for everything.

I think the application uses a lot of bandwidth. It tends to become slow when you are editing.

I love that it's simple to get started, and that it allows our team to scale more efficiently by making demos available on demand.

I haven't seen any downsides yet, it works perfectly for our use cases.

It allows us to make our product demos available on demand, on our website and elsewhere. This allows potential customers to see the actual product, understand what it does and how it does it, and most importantly, do so whenever they feel like it!
Revolutionised our demo process
What do you like best about the product?
Very easy to build tailored demos and flows, can create click through for customers instead of needing another call to demo it live. We now use storylane as our go to rather than a live demo. the AI tools are incredibly powerful.
What do you dislike about the product?
the interface to show all the slides can easily get overwhelming when there are a l;arge number of slides. works well for smaller demos.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We dont always have access to live systems to demo, this means we can take recordings and use them across the team instead.
It also allows us to do a demo even if the systems have gone down without an impact to customers.
