Incredibly easy to communicate new product features/walk through for clients.
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ease of use, and customizability with the annotation options.
What do you dislike about the product?
Almost too simple/easy to use, lacks some ability to have complete freedom of design.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Storylane solves our ability to demo features in development and asynchronous test concepts without being in the room.

I wish the AI screenrecorder would pick up voice to and create the script based off that

What do you like best about the product?
Storylane is an easy to use platform for building interactive demos that convert. They offer a lot of features, & it is super user friendly. Getting set up was pretty intuitive, & I like that we can see the stats for our demos when they are linked to Hubspot. The AI feature is also pretty cool, & I like that you can add video.
What do you dislike about the product?
The video adding is pretty limited. We wanted to add pre-recorded video, but we weren't able to as you have to record it live. I am hoping they are able to update it. I also would love to see a Mixpanel integration. Whenever I google if one exists all I see are Storylanes about Mixpanel.I wish the custom lead form wasn't so gated and expensive. It seems like this is a basic feature that costs 10X.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are building out interactive demos for our feature pages. This is helping us make the consideration phase more interactive. We have seen people interacting with it, & I'd love to also build it more into the platform. These have replaced some of our standard videos because interactivity is the way of the future!
Storylane - Great Platform & User Experience
What do you like best about the product?
Storylane is an easy to use point solution that makes end user engagement and tracking easy. It also has deeper features that enable enterprise business to govern and organise the platform. Our team are using the tool on a daily basis and it is easy to get started quickly and simply. The team at Storylane have supported us in onboarding and are enabling us to do more, faster in the right way. Integrations with webhooks and configured integrations are easy to configure.
What do you dislike about the product?
The ability for us as an organisation to inform and suggest new features and functions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Storylane is enabling us to take our products and services to our clients in a new, easy to use way that makes sharing our vision easy.

The AI Voiceovers make editing the videos a breeze and why we chose this platform

The HTML Version is crazy expensive but it does give you a lot of advantages like making progmatatic edits

Easy to Create, Easy to Implement.
What do you like best about the product?
I do a lot of training to my clients with our product. Its is nice to have prebuilt walkthrough tutorials with snapshots of our product readily available for my clients to complete on their own time. That way, once they get to me, they already have a good overview of what they're learning from me.
What do you dislike about the product?
I know they are currently working on a few features for a smoother experience. With my experience, I would like a way to fix my sizing proportions between my tooltips and my screenshots. As I use different platforms with different aspect ratios for editing, I often get different sizing of the same product when switching between different a laptop screen and my monitor.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
They allow me to sit in a consulting space rather than a constant teaching space. I train clients on a software and so it is great to have pre made walkthroughs for my clients to go through themselves and then hop on a meeting with me when they have questions on what they just learned.

What do you like best about the product?
I think the tools and guides are the best part of using Storylane. You don't have to be a technical expert or know how to code to use this tool and put together excellent product demos/guided tours. You just need some very basic computer literacy.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish they had a Microsoft Edge plugin for capturing screens. I also wish it were a little easier to catalogue captured screens. I have over 100 captured screens but I don't have any way to filter or label them so that I can categorize them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our solution is great for technical users, but walking through the stages of the solution can take time and expertise. Storylane allows us to take the best practices of all our solutions consultants and combine them into one super-demo. It also empowers us to highlight the best features of our solution without having to show how to navigate around them.

I love that Storylane lets you replicate your product's exact UX/UI experience, but with the added benefit of guided steps and explanations. This makes it incredibly easy to create interactive demos that feel just like the real product.
It's also a powerful lead generation tool. You can seamlessly integrate forms within the demo to capture contact information.
What's truly great is the flexibility. You create a single demo and can then deploy it across multiple channels, including email campaigns, ads, or even shared directly by your account executives during sales conversations.

Depending on how your product's code is structured, you sometimes have to rely on screenshots to build the demo. This can lower the resolution and make the visual quality inconsistent.
A major drawback is that the demos are not responsive. They don't adapt well to different screen sizes, which can be a problem for users viewing them on mobile devices.

I love how fast and easy it is to create screenshot demos, and the AI voiceovers you can add in to make it sound personal and fun.

Relatively simple to use and a great interactive alternative to powerpoint.
What do you like best about the product?
It allows people to view pages of information in an interactive format. In the format of showing a client where to go and how to use our products, it gives clients a hands-on experience of our services to fully understand what we have to offer. It's intuitive for clients and is much more exciting than a simple powerpoint explaining how to use our services. For myself personally as a new starter at my work, it has been helpful to both view storylane demos for my training, and see how it is made.
What do you dislike about the product?
Editing a demo can be a bit of a learning curve, but that is partly due to the breadth of controls offered. The UI could be slightly more appealing, but that's leaning on personal preference.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It provides a sort of navigatable platform where you can see step by step how to operate our services. Compared to powerpoint where you just flip through slides, these demos show exactly how to use our platform in an interactive format.
