A great tool for providing engaging and reliable product demos
What do you like best about the product?
Storylane has been a fantastic addition to our sales and marketing processes. We were able to quickly create reliable product demo environments for our sales teams, which also have become incredibly useful leave-behinds for prospective customers after our meetings. Being able to curate the perfect demo experience with reliable data and a bug-free product environment has been a game changer for our entire team.
What do you dislike about the product?
Overall an excellent product, not much to dislike. I wish the HTML capture could work with a few more of our Javascript-enabled charts, but that would be my only point of feedback.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Reliable product demos for our sales team. The perfect leave-behind for prospects, which no longer leaves us needing to provide demo login credentials for our platform.

What do you like best about the product?
Storylane is an excellent tool to showcase your product to prospects through interactive demos. It's extremely easy to use, and I personally like the HTML recording capability that helps to quickly edit things in the tour you're building. So if you want to record a screen but want to change a few things in there (like maybe blur sensitive info or change some text), you can always go back and edit the underlying code.
They also provide top-notch support, and that means a lot. The team is always available to listen to feedback and is willing to get into the trenches to solve any questions we might have. Truly great partners to work with!

What do you dislike about the product?
There's not much to dislike, to be honest. It would be good to have more customizations available for the checklist and more robust reporting features. But these are all nice-to-haves. Also, considering the rate at which they ship out new features, won't be surprised if they already have a plan to tackle this in the near future.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were identifying ways to make our offerings more accessible to interested parties and Storylane solved that problem for us. The most significant benefit in my opinion, is the ability to quickly swap out a screenshot for another if there's a UI change in the product, instead of starting everything from scratch. Saves a lot of time and effort.

More styling options and the ability to change the font on the layovers would be good.

It enables us to give our website visitors a taste of the UI and functionality of the product without them having to sign up and log in.

Storylane is easy-to-use, requires little to no dev work, and creates interactive product demos that help us tell the story of our product to users.
We provide software solutions to businesses that are accustomed to pen and paper. Making it easy for them to see how the software works, the value it brings to them, and in a safe environment has been possible with Storylane. They can see how the product works without having to do anything themselves, which has been a great driver of new feature adoption so far.
Building the demos in Storylane is surprisingly easy, and I love the flexibility in swapping out screens if the product changes in the future without starting from scratch.

My only complaint with Storylane is the limited functionality of reporting. Their data is excellent, but having the ability to filter and sort natively within Storylane would save me from manually sorting/filtering the exported data.

What do you like best about the product?
The software is easy to use and you can sign up for an account without talking to a salesperson. Founders are approachable and helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Wish there was more gradation between the $40 and $500 a month plan.

Storylane lets us make repeatable, customizable demos that resonate with our customers saving us time and increasing conversions.
Amazing features and onboarding!
What do you like best about the product?
What I enjoyed the most was capturing our SaaS in HTML using Storylane's Chrome extension and the fact that we can integrate with Hubspot!

Doing the links between the pages when they are not automated

In the past, we needed to involve developers when implementing a new demo experience, but that is no longer needed.
