Create a Curated Demo or Story for Customers and Prospects
What do you like best about the product?
Storylane is a very versitile demo product. They make capturing your screen very easy and have lots of tools to help you tell your product story. The analytics are also super helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing really stands out here. I wish we could get more people to interact with our demos, but that's really about distribution and web traffic, and as a marketer, we always want better results!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Storylane helps our sales and CS teams 'show don't tell' when it comes to our platform.
Easy to use interface! Love Storylane

Sales Demos, Marketing Materials, UX/UI Reviews and More
What do you like best about the product?
Storylane is an easy-to-use platform that is well worth the value. We use storylane company wide, across multiple teams to support in their daily functions.
What do you dislike about the product?
While I think the pricing is reasonable, I do think that we could get more from the product if the packages were rearranged better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our internal teams use storylane to support the following:
1. Marketing - Storylane easily embeds on landingpage and websites allowing our product to come to life and shine in our marketing materials. Additionally, storylane quickly allows you to generate different tracking URLs for a single demo, providing valuable effectiveness (demo usage) and prospect information. Intergrations with forms to gather prospect information is also super valuable
2. Sales - Our sales team is able to translate the value of our platform and demo without having to schedule a call. Tweaking our storylane's to be personalized per prospect has been invalueable and allows us to leave impressive take-aways.
3. Product UX/UI - We have found running product feedback sessions and UX validation sessions easier to do in Storylane than our product design tool. Getting interactive prototypes out faster.

I find it very helpful that Storylane is easy to navigate, make updates to, and provide to customers. They are constantly adding new features to make it easy to capture your customers attention.
What do you dislike about the product?
Storylane is a great tool, I do wish that there were different ways to categorize the demo hub like the demo's. Since it is a new feature, i'm sure it's going to come in time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is allowing customers to view the steps they need to take instead of having to have a paper copy of a how to.
Storylane as a tool for Start Ups
What do you like best about the product?
Sometimes, it can be frustrating trying to explain the features of our product either over text in email, or on a phone call.
Being able to offer an interactive, visual representation is so much more powerful!
Being able to offer an interactive, visual representation is so much more powerful!
What do you dislike about the product?
I would prefer if there was some more time spent to ensure that the share and share with gif options worked across all major platforms, though I do understand a lot of this is outside of the control of the team at Storylane
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our product is very visual - requires our potential customers to understand what our software looks like to really understand its benefits.

Storylane is an incredibly useful tool, that we have used across our organization.
What do you like best about the product?
Storylane is a very intuitive platform, you can quickly learn to create great demos within minutes. There are a lot of tools to customize demos to tailor what we need. Published demos look super professional without much manual work. Browser extension makes it a super valuable tool for us, we can click through our software and it quickly captures every screen we need. Good Hubspot integration and useful embedded codes for our website. It is a very versatile platform where anytime you need to capture and show a screen it adds value, our organization uses it for sales, marketing, support as well as internal training.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the file structures could be organized a little better based on if you have multiple people in your organization using it. Not sure, if it has the capability to perform actual functionality depending on what you are demoing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Showcasing our software with either long-form multi-decision demos or a short example to create engagement with leads and prospects.

What do you dislike about the product?
The price, which is quite expensive from the first plan, but what the tool offers is of course worth it.

What do you like best about the product?
I first started usinh Storylane a couple of years ago and it has since become one my the go to tools in my pmm tech stack.
-> I like how easy it is to create screenshot demos just by clicking around the product
-> They also let you show demos on mobile devices, and choose if you want to bypass the “screen too small” warning
-> I also like the GIF feature which I mainly use to add clickable tours to our PPT decks and onboarding emails
-> There's AI assisted translation too which comes in handy
-> They roll out new features constantly
-> It's very easy to get started + teach other people how to create tours

Nothing significant comes to mind, the product keeps getting better.

I use Storylane to create clickable product tours for a variety of purposes, including:
Launching new features: These tours help internal teams and customers learn what’s new.
Giving sales early demo of an upcoming product: The fact that you can create a Storylane from screenshots means I can use mockups to create a tour and give sales and prospects a sneak-peek of how something will work, long before it's available in production.
Explaining features: Embedding tours on feature pages makes it easier for visitors to understand how things work.
Sales slides: Our sales deck now uses Storylane tours instead of static screenshots. The GIFs show how features work and are much more effective.
Testing for better conversions: I use tours on pages like the homepage to see if showing instead of telling improves conversion rates.
Showcasing use cases: For example, creating tours that guide users through specific tasks like, “Want to do XYZ? Here’s how this feature helps.”
Replacing onboarding videos: Storylane tours are quick to update (just minutes) and are embedded on our site and in onboarding emails, saving us the hassle of creating and editing videos.

Easy-to-create interactive demos that don't break the bank.
What do you like best about the product?
I'm a solo marketer with a limited budget - so when I found Storylane I was pretty hyped.
What got me to bit was their Demo Hub feature - a place that I could curate a set of demos and unite them in one place for events, campaigns, and our website.
The flexiblity to deploy/embed my demos in the ways I want/need is great too - sometimes I need a stand-alone demo and sometimes I need to embed a demo or add a popup CTA button... either way, it's all done in a few clicks and helps make my life a bit easier every day.

What do you dislike about the product?
I've had a few issues with screen cap resolution when using the Demo Hub - but I believe this is an issue with our product design as opposed to a Storylane issue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I needed a tool that let me quickly build interactive demos that I could deploy to any channel, for any use, at any time.
