What do you like best about the product?
Creating a new demo is straightforward, especially with the option to add a voice-over. The platform is user-friendly, making it simple to produce a video and publish it once you're finished.
What do you dislike about the product?
As a UK-based company with a primarily UK customer base, we would appreciate having a wider selection of voices and avatars that do not have American accents. More options tailored to our region would be very helpful.

The website offers a range of content, including demos and helpful videos.

Once you know what you are doing it is quite a quick process

It's a little clunky and unintuitive - I've tried to edit a clickable demo and found it hard to work out

It's been very helpful in creating clickable Demos for role as a Solution Engineer at HubSpot - saves a lot of time to be able to provide Reps and Customers with Demos ready to go they can use

The platform stands out for its ease of use and intuitive user interface, making work management straightforward. Its technology is excellent for demos, and it offers great options for engagement. Additionally, embedding it on any webpage is simple and hassle-free.
What do you dislike about the product?
The analytics could be improved, and I would really appreciate having access to more detailed demo viewer information, ideally with enriched data. Integration with CRM systems would also be a valuable addition.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Storylane has made distributing product demos much easier for us. In the past, we could only share demos through live calls, which was often inconvenient. Now, with Storylane, accessing and sharing demos is simple and efficient. We can provide demos directly and even use them as instant CTAs, which has helped increase conversions and improve lead consideration.

What do you like best about the product?
The sheer speed at which one can capture a product flow and turn it into a guided, interactive demo is Storylane’s main selling point. The platform is truly no-code. You can record screens with the browser extension and instantly convert those steps into a clickable walkthrough. This is invaluable for keeping marketing assets up-to-date—when the product changes, you can usually update the demo screens in minutes rather than waiting days for a technical resource. It’s an incredibly efficient use of time.
What do you dislike about the product?
For companies with a very large library of demos (20+), the organisation structure can feel a little basic, making it harder to manage, search, and navigate through a massive content library efficiently.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Storylane’s no-code capture and editing tools allow sales and marketing to quickly create demos themselves, completely removing the dependency on technical teams and freeing up engineering resources for core product development.

I appreciate how simple it is to use, and I find it very convenient to review important information from meetings afterward or to receive helpful summaries.

There isn’t much that I dislike, but if I had to mention something, it would be that I’m unable to ask questions across all of my records at once.

What I find truly impressive is how quickly I can create a Product Demo and have the Info quest ready with just a click. The overall ease of use makes the process feel almost effortless.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I came across this platform by chance through a LinkedIn suggestion. I quickly put together a demo for one of our product modules and shared it with our internal team. The response was overwhelmingly positive everyone liked it, and our CEO even asked me to create a formal version for a full product demo to showcase on our website. This has made it much easier for us to onboard customers, and we've seen our drop-off rate decrease by nearly 30%.
Since then, I've recommended this platform to several friends and fellow builders working at different companies and on various products.

Very easy to create product demos (specially for support videos). The automatic selections work great.

The video editor interface provides very less options. The video trimming experience can be made more accurate.

It made creating video demos very easy and interactive feature is best. Hours of manual work reduced to minutes.
Excellent Templates and Versatile Tools for Effective Tutorials
What do you like best about the product?
It offers excellent templates and a versatile palette with multiple options to create accurate content, making it highly effective for recording tutorials. The ability to capture each click on the screen, along with an option to remove unwanted steps, allows users to optimize their presentation and keep it concise and to the point.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is occasional lag between initiating the recording and when it actually begins. Additionally, some unintended screen clicks get captured, making it difficult to identify and remove them later. Providing an option to undo unwanted clicks during the recording itself would be very helpful. The AI-enabled text generation feature also requires significant improvement, as its current capabilities are quite basic and do not add substantial value.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The major problem Storylane solves for me is the ability to record training sessions or tutorials without the need for manual intervention each time a product or feature has to be demonstrated. Once recorded, the content can be refined and optimized to deliver the best possible clarity, ensuring users gain a clear and consistent understanding.
