Great Platform to Showcase Your Product Without Live Demos
What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about Storylane is how easy it is to create interactive product demos without needing technical skills. It allows us to quickly showcase our platform in a clear, guided, and engaging way, which helps prospects understand the value immediately. The interface is intuitive, the editing tools are flexible, and sharing demos with customers is seamless. It has significantly improved how we present our product and has helped increase engagement and conversion during the sales process.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Storylane is a powerful tool, there are a few areas that could be improved. The pricing can be relatively high for smaller teams or for those who only need to create a limited number of demos. Some advanced customization options are limited, especially when trying to create highly tailored or complex demo flows. In addition, occasional loading delays or minor UI glitches can happen when editing larger demos. More flexibility in branding controls and more affordable entry-level plans would make it even better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Storylane solves the challenge of explaining complex products through static presentations or live demos that don’t always scale. It allows us to create interactive, self-guided demos that prospects can explore at their own pace, which makes it much easier for them to understand the product quickly. This has helped us save time on repetitive demo calls, improve lead engagement, and present our platform in a more consistent and professional way. As a result, it supports our sales process by qualifying leads faster and increasing conversion opportunities.

What do you like best about the product?
It’s very easy to capture screenshots of our program.
What do you dislike about the product?
I’m fixing some of the wording because the program’s suggestions aren’t always right.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps us send video trial samples to our clients in a short amount of time, rather than having to wait on a full video edit.

Storylane gives prospective and current customers a look into our software which saves our sales team hours each week while also bringing in more educated and qualified leads.

Really easy to make a demo for potential customers. It's quick and correct

Until so far nothing really, only that the free plan only has 1 demo.

Perfect Fit for Creating Training Videos
What do you like best about the product?
I love that I can record and then get a voiceover, so I don't have to record myself. I also like that I can update as many times as needed. There are multiple voiceover options, and I can choose for a video to play by clicking on it to move forward or have it play continuously, providing multiple ways to play a video for a user. It was really easy to set up, and I'm glad I got a subscription for something that works so well. It's a perfect fit for us.

What I like most about Storylane is how quickly it lets us create realistic, interactive product demos without engineering support. We can tailor demos to different personas, highlight specific workflows, and update them as the product evolves, all without rebuilding from scratch.

What do you like best about the product?
Clear overview of our products for both sales and marketing purpose without the need to have a demo environment available for non-technical sales people.
What do you dislike about the product?
No specifc downsides perceived. It helps us plenty!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
showcasing complex technical solutions to customers, even when our sales people aren't fully up to speed. It helps is in creating more professional offers towards our customers since they feel they can take it for a spin.
A Game-Changer for Training with Clear, Reusable Walkthroughs
What do you like best about the product?
I use Storylane for both internal and external training, and it’s been a game changer. After delivering in‑room sessions, it’s brilliant for giving teams a clear, step‑by‑step walkthrough they can revisit anytime. We’ve even stopped using PowerPoint SOPs because Storylane does the job so much better.
What do you dislike about the product?
Only thing is that I cannot create folders within a folder.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
helped with being able to integrate into the website for a step-by-step on how to use the billing portal. since then we have received a 25% reduction on service calls / emails from our customers
Quick and Easy Demos That Showcase the Product Well
What do you like best about the product?
After a few attempts, it's very quick and easy to use. The demos look nice and show off the product well.
What do you dislike about the product?
Minor issue, but sometimes the demos don't look as good on a mobile as the clickboxes seem to move around very slightly
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I initially wanted to demo one think, so was using the free plan which was great. But then that demo got me a lead, so I wanted to give the new client their own personalised demo. Having it all pre recorded ahead of time made my life easier as it meant I could show off all the parts I wanted to.
