What do you like best about the product?
I use Story Lane to create training materials for my company. It is a quick and intuitive tool with a strong modern feel packing plenty of customizations. The one area I would hope to see improved is the browser extension. It could be a little more user-friendly when updating or coming back to work on an existing story. Over all, I highly recommend this and have already referred others to this program.
What do you dislike about the product?
how intuitive it is and the fact that they also have an easy to find library or help resources so I can solve my own issues and answer my own questions

It allows me to create training materials for internal and external users.

What do you like best about the product?
Onboarding Storylane was great. Our onboarding team was quick to respond and very helpful in tailoring the tool to our use cases. We have used a few other demo automation tools and Storylane has been very easy to use. We like the still image or HTML options that help us tailor the demos for our customers. It's been a great tool for higher funnel leads and partners to get a teaser of our solution rather than our lean SE team having to hop on a bunch of demos.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I would point out is that the drag and drop features are not as fluid as similar tools I've used. It is at times difficult to get a tooltip or text modual to position correctly with the drag and drop.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lead qualification and SE bandwidth. Storylane is helping our lean SE team by providing an avenue for a prospect, customer, or partner to view our tools without having to hop on a 1 hr demo.

What do you like best about the product?
The tool, while it has a learning curve, is relatively straightforward to use. It's great for someone with no technical/coding background. But the real icing on the cake is their customer support team -- they answer all questions quickly, and are willing to go above and beyond to make sure you get what you need. They'll create loom videos, write out instructions step by step, even hop on a Slack huddle to answer questions and show you how to fix something. We have several nuanced needs for the tool, and they're quick to write custom code or make modifications to the entire product to serve our needs. Has been an excellent on boarding experience!
What do you dislike about the product?
There's a decent learning curve, and it can be hard to learn it without engaging with customer support.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We didn't have an anonymous, static demo platform prior -- we used something that reflected our live platform, which changes on a day to day basis as it takes in new data. This made story telling for our sales and customer teams incredibly difficult -- they never knew what kind of stories they'd log into each morning, or even prior to each call. This allows all our teams to have specific stories to tell, each and every time. It gives our team consistency.

Limited resources (mainly time) to create extensive demo videos, Storylane completely solves this by being so easy to use

The chrome plug in makes it exceptionally easy to create a demo.

It would be nice if it were easier to embedd in CMS. But I guess this also depends on the CMS.

What do you like best about the product?
Storylane is incredibly easy-to-use from the minute you log in and start making your first product demo. We have very good feedback internally as the solution was easily adopted by our PMM, Marketing and Sales enablement teams. It only takes up to 30 minutes to build a product demo that will amaze our customers. We have enough features to customize our product demos and make them very unique to our brand.
What do you dislike about the product?
Today our struggle is that we need to make one demo per langage, change the screenshots and write the new text as we operate in different european markets.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Storylane helps us show the value of our solution in a couple of minutes. We can demo the main features and bring our customers to the Aha moment. From this moment, we are pushing the customers to request for a free trial or a demo with our sales teams. Storylane increase our conversion rate from leads to Product qualified leads.

Super easy to use, demos look very professional

What do you like best about the product?
I used the screenshots for both my demos and the whole process to build and configure them was quite intuitive. The feature set is pretty good too, e.g. the different types of interactions like hotspots and zoom. I'm very happy with the way demos look and feel on our website and already got feedback that the demos make our product easy to understand. Their support team replied to the one question I had in less than 1 day which is decent.
What do you dislike about the product?
One of their main features, looping an auto play demo, is buried in the menus and has been implemented in a strange way. Ultimately it works well once you find out how to do it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Making my product easy to understand by brining it to life.
