What do you like best about the product?
The best thing I like its too fast. Never get slow to process.
At one place we can find the UserStory for every Sprint and Linked Test cases and defects,
Reports combination for the tool is also satisfactory.
I will recommend this tool for all users.
What do you dislike about the product?
Reports do not easily process.
The combination is needed to understand.
The defects logged is not easily found if it is not allocated to particular Sprint
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Test Management Tool.

Targetprocess is very flexible and accommodates our unique work flow very well.

What do you like best about the product?
I really enjoy that Targetprocess allows what I call 'inception style organization' and the entities can have many relations. You can have a project which holds epics which is made of features that are made up of stories broken apart by tasks, it's great.

I also really enjoy that you can paste images easily into the inline editor.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only reason it doesn't get a 10 out of 10 rating is that once in a blue moon it is slow to load up and navigate. Takes a couple seconds to load maybe? Not thing biggest problem.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use target process to manage a team of about 9 developers. It is great for keeping track of all things related to the development process and allowing product managers to have insight into the dev work without stepping on our toes.

Great product.

What do you like best about the product?
Super flexible. If there isn't a view that helps us, we can often create it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Integration with Git for Visual Studio Online doesn't work (it broke a while ago) so Target Process isn't able to associate commits containing the "#{Bug}" links with Stories and Bugs in Target Process.

We're a startup so it's on the expensive side for us. I'd really love if Target Process has a Startup program they could offer to small startups like us.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helps us coordinate our remote development team.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Enables excellent development workflows and very flexible. Test Case management is weak and is time consuming to maintain.

Organized and effeciant

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to quickly move items from one status to another
What do you dislike about the product?
This software would have been the end all if they had some sort of timeline projection built into it and time tracking
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Project management - keeping production organized and able to read from a distance
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Adding a few more features that would help out with project management - ie time tracking - timeline projection - this was the only reason why we switched products

What do you like best about the product?
Maintaining the project materials as a central repository for teams which is very much supportive for agile methodology.
What do you dislike about the product?
Updates are notified properly to end users, few areas needs to be designed in such a way that it is self explanatory to the end users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a BA and Scrum master for a project, it helps me in maintaining all the requirements and deliverables updated.

One tool for everything

What do you like best about the product?
Before we got introduced target process to the team we have got different communication channels for customers, development team, support team and so on such as email, SharePoint, ticketing system.
But later we realized with this tool we were able to achieve all the above and we have all the information/document in one place which is awesome.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it looks like it is so tough for the newcomers to understand and to start working on this ticket.
Since we have customized our own board this is always challenging with the minimal documentation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing demands, Application development, Testing, application support and documentation.

Fun to use, easy to maintain

What do you like best about the product?
High visibility of tasks. We can easily see which task is assigned to which person at a glance using the profile pictures, which I like the most. Easily customizable to set WIP and the rules around it. Overall, it has definitely contributed towards increasing our day-to-day productivity and has increased the level of transparency.
What do you dislike about the product?
The dragging of tasks across boards is still quite buggy and lags even on the best configuration machines. This should be fixed on priority.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using this product as a Kanban board for our project. We moved from using Excel sheets to Targetprocess, after trying out various free alternatives. This satisfied most of our requirements except a few regarding reporting. We are still trying to create custom reports using the tool.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Though you can definitely try out other free, but please at least once give a chance to Targetprocess. I am sure you will love it and ultimately make it your daily driver.
The only thing which I would like to advise is to see whether you can easily handle the reporting module of the application.

Target Process - where you can track your progress

  • March 15, 2017
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like the way the data is represented to the end users. And the filters option to sort out based on queries.
It is easy to use and more understandable
What do you dislike about the product?
When it comes to performance target process needs to improve a bit. As testing engineer, our daily work is dependent on target process and we face in performance issue sometimes like unable to upload attachments, unable to change the status of bug.
Apart from that everything seems perfect in target process
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am testing engineer in caterpillar. I will deal with testing the functionalities of the software, whenever i come across any issues, i will raise a bug and tag it to respective developer.
with the help of target process I can track all my activities by using the filter query option, which helped me a lot.

Simple to get started, flexible enough to grow

What do you like best about the product?
Very easy to get a new team going and then introduce new views to see new metrics to improve.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing that isn't on the roadmap. However creating some of the boards will not let you drill all the way down from project to tasks. Some of the calculations may not seem consistent across the views. Hard to get a clear view of the work contributing to the burn down in a chart
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Better collaboration and understanding of workload.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
There are some quirks that the onboarding team are very good at articulating so make the most of that call.

What do you like best about the product?
Versatility in configuration. Entities aren't set in stone and it's customizable. Interactive, great UX and efficient.
What do you dislike about the product?
The search. Finding the right thing can be hard. And search doesn't show all entities.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tracking issues, goals, milestones and accountability.
