What do you like best about the product?
The ease of tagging other people to get feed back on tasks. Available on mobile phone, computer and tablet.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing really. Its functional, free and easy to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use TP3 to get group tasks done without adding clutter. It solves how I track my projects and the benefits are just having my work at the touch of my hands anywhere I go.

Effect Project Management, Tech Know-How Required

  • March 14, 2017
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like the visual display of projects and the ability to arrange them according to timeline and priority.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that I am not tech savvy enough to run amok with TP and its options.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My team uses TargetProcess to solve project management problems. This entails everything from ensuring we hit project deadlines on time, to allowing collaborative efforts be made on projects as necessary.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
In my experience, TP is best used when juggling multiple projects, or organizing teams of several people. The flexibility in organizing teams, and projects, as well as the ability to track the project from creation to completion is incredibly useful.

Great project management...even if it's a bit much.

What do you like best about the product?
Professionally, I like being able to keep track of all the tasks and responsibilities of me and my team members.

Personally, I like the sense of accomplishment when i see a bunch of completed cards at the end of a Sprint.
What do you dislike about the product?
Our version is highly customized and has way too many options that i never view or use. It's visually a bunch of clutter down the left hand menu with largely unnecessary choices. Also, the siloing of teams and members seems unnecessary as well, since people outside our work unit often get pulled in.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have a very high volume of data requests in Marketing, and we use TP to list and prioritize these requests. At a glance, we can see when a team member is overloaded or under-assigned requests.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Very useful for project management with high volume and many team members.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the timelines and the views available in Tp to analyse the data. The way I could choose and share my view is amazing.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like the filter options. They are very difficult to apply and understand
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am using Tp to log the bugs, and the stories which need to developed.

Great product

  • March 14, 2017
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy the ease of use of TP when compared to other similar types of software. Specifically, this organisation temporarily moved to another product (HP AGM) and within a year, moved back. Creating sub-states is a very useful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Learning curve regarding nomenclature but that can be aligned with practices within organisations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Cross departmental interactions - QA, development, business. Every part of the organisation is now on-board with the process that TP facilitates.

Great product for keeping track of project tasks, bugs, etc

  • March 14, 2017
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
- many different way to focus on the user stories/tasks (ie: breadth vs depth)
- highly customizable views
- keeps track of communication between other members
- constant upgrades and feature additions
What do you dislike about the product?
- HTML integration in the descriptions and commenting could be better, ie: setting up tables is a little cumbersome, and it would be nice if there were more formatting options such as adding colouring to text for easy readibility.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using it to keep track of project tasks, bugs, etc

Super flexible product and project management

  • January 04, 2017
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
A lot of product management tools force you into their process to use the tool. TargetProcess is super flexible and can be customized to whatever process you want to use with your team/company/group.
What do you dislike about the product?
The pricing is a flat rate regardless of role-type. For me as a PO that is using the tool on a daily basis, the price is more than fair. But, for our developers who are only using the tool to read the details and update the state of a ticket, it's too pricey.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed a backlog management tool. We had been using a whiteboard with sticky notes and that was obviously unscalable. TargetProcess allowed us to get everyone aligned.

Great tool for project and team management

  • December 20, 2016
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The custom view creation tool is exceptionally well thought out.
What do you dislike about the product?
The object structure is sometimes a little restrictive (eg: no way to have 2 tasks from the same user story in 2 different sprints)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
All our project management and bug logging is done through Target Process.

Creating bug reports and attributing them to different developers and QA engineers is fast and easy.

Once you setup up your views the way you want them, finding the information you want is quick and painless, allowing you to get back right back to work.
Recommendations to others considering the product:

If you've adopted the agile methodology, I see no reason to at least try out Target Process for a sprint or 2.
