    Computer Software

The Lightweight Digital Transformation platform!

  • April 29, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Collaborative Software development - it's extremely easy to build data model-based applications and launch them internally. The ability to rapidly build out business applications is a superpower. Airtable also has a powerful set of extensions and integrations, not to mention an internal scripting engine. It has a very friendly interface.
What do you dislike about the product?
In general, Airtable trades deep customization/complexity for speed and ease of use.
1. Limited Data Visualization capabilities - there are only a few options for displaying data in charts or graphs
2.Difficulty at scale of managing multiple interfaces pages.
3. Limited "Formula" functions (as compared to Google Sheets or Excel)
4.Limited Interface customization options
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Airtable allow me to quickly design and build operational interfaces for multiple user types working on disconnected data sources. Turns out it's what most knowledge workers need, but don't have the skills (or interest, let's be real) to build it themselves.

What do you like best about the product?
I love the ease of linking bases to keep spaces organized but connected.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the app interfaces were better. Instead I rarely currently use the app and almost work exclusively on the browser.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tracking shows, tracking ticket requests for teams, tracking metadata and linking to said tickets and such.

I couldn't live without Airtable

What do you like best about the product?
It keeps me organized, is easy to use, has so many features and functionality, and outperforms any of its competitors tenfold.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a learning curve when teaching it to someone, which means they aren't initially as excited as you may be about it. For people who aren't tech-savvy, it may not be the best option.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I track both quantitative and qualitative date, use it to collect information via forms, and use it to share information with others.

Airtable is a powerful enabler for operational excellence and scalable workflow transformation

What do you like best about the product?
Airtable offers a modern, flexible platform that enables me to quickly design and launch custom business workflows—without relying on traditional development resources. It’s become a foundational tool for driving process improvement and enhancing data connectivity across teams. The platform is intuitive, easy to implement, and broadly adopted, which simplifies onboarding and change management. Airtable’s support team is also responsive and knowledgeable when we’ve needed assistance. Its ability to integrate at a high level with Microsoft 365, power intelligent automations, and incorporate AI-driven functionality allows us to move quickly while maintaining control, visibility, and governance.
What do you dislike about the product?
As our team scaled, we encountered constraints around automation run limits, sync delays between bases, and limited role-based access controls. These didn’t block us, but they did require creative workarounds and, in some cases, the use of external orchestration tools. It’s a reminder that Airtable is incredibly powerful for building systems quickly—but it still benefits from intentional governance planning when used at scale. We also use the platform frequently, and as usage expands, the pricing and capacity tiers can escalate faster than expected.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Airtable is helping solve the challenge of fragmented, spreadsheet-driven operations by providing a central, flexible platform for workflow automation, reporting, and collaboration. It enables us to replace disjointed tools and manual processes with structured systems that scale—improving visibility, reducing errors, and accelerating decision-making. From staffing and time tracking to contract management and client approvals, Airtable gives us the agility to build tailored solutions without the overhead of traditional software development.

The Only Product You’ll Ever Need

  • April 25, 2025

What do you like best about the product?
The ability for Airtable to continually evolve while staying true to its mission.
Airtable has thread the needle to infuse cutting edge tech into every aspect of the product, which allows customers to keep Airtable as their #1 tool and increase stickiness across the board. The best example is how they have integrated AI into the product and allows Airtable apps to be powerhouses in their own right — and without needed to add on many (or any) additional tools to make meaningful change for the users of Airtable
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, with its newest AI offerings, there is not much to dislike about Airtable. The one area would be finding ways to get new Airtable users up to speed faster without having to watch video trainings. For me, that has been the biggest blocker or slowdown to get Airtable rolled out across the org
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has allowed me to create a source of truth across the organization that helps increase transparency, collaboration, speed to market, & decision making

What do you like best about the product?
Love the depth and breadth of functionality, the granular controls for visibility, dashboards, automation, and interfaces. Amazing way to organize nearly everything.
What do you dislike about the product?
The barrier to entry is high due to its complexity.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have used Airtable to solve a lot of manual repetitive tasks in quality and safety and to organize information in human resources. I needed a way to create a single source of truth for our company organizational chart that would allow us to build other tables, data logs, and allow each department to create information in the format that worked for them without having to manually replace source information each time someone left the company or a single part of the puzzle changed.

What do you dislike about the product?
There aren't really any downsides, it's fantastic.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Right now keeping track of different Patients assigned to each Health Coach at our Telehealth company.

A dataBase for Anything

What do you like best about the product?
You literally can build ANYTHING in Airtable. To date I've used Airtable to help colleagues share resource, created a member directory, bug tracking system, content pipeline, mentor program, strategic plan tracker, multiple feedback forms and so much more. I love how flexible the software is to display the data exactly how I need.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike how some features are embargoed behind higher levels of service. While I use Airtable for lots of different types of things, at the end of the day we are a small team (using the Team plan) and there are a few security settings (such as base visibility for creators) that should be included with that level. I also wish there was a good solution for coordinating projects with outside vendors that did not require them to have a "seat." There's just one Base I need to coordinate with our team on and I have to pay for all them to have access.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easy and transparent display of objectives.

Airtable is an incredibly intuitive, flexible, and powerful for me!

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Airtable has been a game-changer for me. It’s incredibly intuitive, flexible, and powerful—I used it for building out my reference database. I love how easy it is to organize, filter, and collaborate, all while keeping everything visually clean and customizable. It's made managing complex information so much easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would say the lack of support - when I have a question or need help with a functionality, it's impossible to speak with a human. I have to looked through tutorials online, which makes it super time consuming.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Airtable as a customer reference database - we have it integrated with SFDC. It's a great, easy way to manage my customer reference pipeline and database. I can easily share withthe rest of the business so they can see our content and references.

Game Changer!

What do you like best about the product?
We use Airtable mostly for marketing event planning and management.

The most valuable thing by far is being able to view your data in a million different ways. I love that we can create different views to hide certain fields, or look at things on a calendar view, gallery, or traditional grid. I also love the filtering and grouping features.

If you have a huge database of information, having dozens of columns can get very unwieldy to sort and digest in a traditional table like Google Sheets. Airtable table makes it easy to see the most important information when you want it, in a way that makes the most sense to each individual user.

It's also very intuitive and easy to use- one of those tools where you can find what you're looking for just by clicking around for a second.

I evangelize Airtable to anyone who will listen!

We use it for business, but I believe everyone could find a great use case for it in their lives.

Some other nice to haves:
-Love the colorful UI and assignment of various colors to new categories- helps the labels stick out
-Lots of customizability and automation
-Very flexible in general-- if you think it, you can probably do it
What do you dislike about the product?
-While I really like the interfaces feature for viewing data in a yet another easy to digest way,I dislike that it is not married to the grid like the other views are. The UX of leaving the grid to go into interface "mode" is not as fluid as I would like it to be. I also think interfaces can be even cleaner/better looking.

-Cost structure: No free collaboration for non-power users-- When we first started using Airtable, we were amazed by how much we could do for free. Soon, however, we realized we need to upgrade to access things like the start/end date calendars. We have since added a few more members to our base that need to come in a view certain things in the grid, but they would have to become a monthly paying member to create their own view. I’d personally rather pay flat rate than have to add $ to our monthly cost every time we grant access.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before Airtable, we had a massive Google spreadsheet with dozens and dozens of columns to track every aspect of our marketing event planning process (conference status, info for main contact, location, start date/end date, workshop details, location, region, representative, expected numbers, costs, etc etc). Most if not all of these categories of details were crucial to know at some time or another, but it was very difficult to digest the information at a glance and made collaboration a pain as well.

Airtable and its multiple views and automations has helped us immensely in our planning process.
