You can link data entries across different sheets, which makes this function as a more agile database.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to crossreference files & folks' data.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It has a bit of a learning curve, but taking time to do the tutorials & exploring the Airtable Universe helps you get situated.

We love the survey feature in Air Table!

  • November 23, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Air Table has been an incredible space for us to organize our leads data base and keep track of records. We have really enjoyed the survey feature, and have created several beautiful forms & surveys that once filled out directly update to that client's record base. We can embed these surveys/forms directly into our online course work or emails to clients and these results are automatically applied to that client/lead record. To be able to hold one set of contact in a leads base and one set of contacts in a client base has been extremely helpful to keep our workflow organized.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would really enjoy if you could link records across bases without also needing to match columns field by field. So far, I have not found it to be extremely user - friendly as a task manager.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have improved our application & onboarding process which has lead to increased sales. We have also used Air Table to better support our existing clients. We are also working on a 'hiring base' to track and organize our hiring procedures and applicants.

What do you like best about the product?
That it can be used for so many different things and is so easy to use. We can have it linked to other programs so the information can be shared easily. We have replaced a lot of our excel spreadsheets with airtable because it is easier to use for what we need. Everyone on the team can use it quickly and efficiently.
What do you dislike about the product?
I really like airtable, there isn't anything that I can think of that I don't like about it at the moment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it for anything that needs a spread sheet and it also talks with other systems we are using so it helps a lot
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This is a great product that is easy to use

Airtable - one of the best tools in my toolset!

  • November 21, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Airtable has replaced a number of software tools I was using in my business, reducing multiple subscriptions for products I no longer need.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are too many options in Airtable - which is also a like, but sometimes confusing with the all the options available, particularly in blocks, now called apps!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use airtable to manage daily client support requests for web support/development. Its great to be able to build a custom solution that suits exactly how I like to work. All requests are managed with priority, status and on completion used to create a job sheet for client billing. The requests can be viewed as a Kanban and it works well on mobile devices as well for using in meetings.
I also use it to data analysis/management/cleanup jobs for clients, plus preparing data imports for website uploads.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you use a spreadsheet - take a look at airtable.

  • November 20, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like everything, the UX is just perfect. AIRTABLE has all the functionalities that I expected and more. Even something is not there you can create an app yourself to do the job.
What do you dislike about the product?
Their mobile app is still basic and lacks a lot of the necessary features of their website.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I was looking for a way to manage all my data, we were about to create our own system till we found Airtable.

Airtable is a great and versatile tool

  • November 10, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Airtable provides great flexibility and multiple usage opportunities in many different use cases, for all company types and all departments, from Finance to Engineering to development. Airtable provides easy access and scale to an entire organization or parts of an organization (a department or a subset of people). Airtable also allows certain access restrictions to ensure appropriate users are changing the Airtable or simply interacting with Airtable. Overall Airtable is easy to use and you can get ramped up quickly. Also, the on-going additions, reporting and ability to integrate with other software is very helpful, either directly or through Zapier.
What do you dislike about the product?
The administrative tool to manage users and their access took a while to get going, and even still remains rather clunky and not the most intuitive. Also, as more usage is experience, each user is able to create and manage their own workspaces and tables, and thus it becomes hard to manage overall access across the entire platform. There some capacity limits in terms of records - 100,000 / base, which could actually become restrictive, and we have experience some performance issues when the capacity nears its max.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Airtable to solve operational problems across multiple departments, creating internal process (with efficiencies) without requiring high dev resource use. This includes marketing campaigns, tracking of user responses to in-depth research, optimization of operational process, creating of processes within our business ranging from user on-boarding to billing (creating task lists for different employees within a process and tracking it). In certain instances we've also managed to use Airtable as an efficient tool to update our core platform.

We've used Airtable a lot with zapier to connect it to our own platform (understand user behavior), to create and track marketing campaign; to create user research process from capturing of information all the way through to communicating via Slack the results and more.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Airtable can get expensive across an organization so ensure the user count is specific to those who need it. Now that the admin tool has improved significantly it's easier to manage, but once access is given users can create their own space with access as they deem, so within some control environment, this could become tricky. As you set up new Airtables, think through the process you are looking to solve and the tools needed. We've used Airtable a lot with Zapier to create workflows where actions in Airtable affect other applications / nuances. This is great, but can get complex, and also creates a dependency, so just be aware.

Make sure to use multiple tabs/tables as well as different views through filters as that can ensure there is a process built.

3rd Quarter 2020 Airtable Review

  • November 07, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Airtable is a crisp and concise way to share task and project details with your friends. Airtable provides the lucrative feature of using different tabs for easier navigation and division of information for sharing between team members. My teammates and i use this app to share and provide feedback to each other for details related to every department of our project. Airtable has consise information sharing through tables that is easy to use like excel on computer systems. In my experience, Airtable has provided great ease to many business functions and my team members will keep using this for the amazing collaborative functions like data sharing, responsibility allotment and ticking tasks off our lists.
What do you dislike about the product?
Airtable needs a premium version feature wherein data can be imported directly from Google sheets. Moreover there are more collaborative features needed for better team functionality since multiple members of a team work on Airtable together. For better sharing on data among team members it is important that Airtable launches features that address the needs of organizational goals. The application can also focus on prompting features for easy use to new members using the versatile software. All in all i think Airtable has huge scope for improvement in the coming time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The various problems I am solving using Airtable are collaboration of work streams, sharing of data as well allotment of responsibility to team members on a running basis. I also use Airtable to finish and mark departmental tasks.

Great way to communicate and manage projects

  • November 05, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like that Airtable is intuitive, easy to edit, easy to export to CSV. It is a great platform for my own departmental projects and for inter-department communication. I like color coding, sorting fields, ease of creating new lines and items, flexibility of different fields (like you can have text, date, complete, priority, assign tasks, or whatever you think is relevant). I also like that you can easily nestle tasks within subprojects within projects within goals. I have also used it to create databases of information for clients and it is easy for them to view and understand vs something like excel.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a paywall for color coding and it isn't always easy to link projects and tasks together. Additionally, you cannot use equations in the cells to do any maths. I do not like that it sometimes crashes and you cannot see edits of others in real time. It also doesn't have a downloadable computer program, which would be very helpful if I am doing tasks offline.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Inter-departmental communication and strategy. Tracking and managing goals and tasks. A great benefit is that everything can be exported to CSV and there are multiple views for each table created. I have used it with both my direct reports and with my managers to clearly communicate what has been done and where each task stands. It is excellent especially as so many people are working remotely and google drive doesn't always work especially well for communicating tasks. Email is a graveyard where tasks go to die.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
IF you are looking for easy plug and play, this is good online support. It is very similar to excel,

Amazing for project management

  • November 05, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Airtable is really easy to use, visual, and has multiple views that allow you to look at your projects and tasks in different ways - grid, kanban, calendar etc. We use it for project management and tracking, purchase orders, a content calendar and more. It's great to have a tool that can be used in so many ways, and that allows for additional features through the apps feature.
What do you dislike about the product?
The trainings are great, but it took team members a bit to get used to it and start using it actively. For non-digital natives, there seems to be a barrier to understanding how to use it. We've found that our younger team members seem more likely to pick it up and run with it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
First, we are better able to allocate staff time to projects and focus areas. We're also better able to track our stock and what we need to order for the team. For our design team, we use the forms function to streamline requests. We have fielded over 200 requests through this form, which also allows us to analyze our workflow. These 3 functions allow our team to work more efficiently. Finally, Airtable allows us to have a high level snapshot of all of our work.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Their sales team was great and able to work with us on an annual invoice.

Airtable for lead management

  • November 04, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It is very easy to use. It is the improvised version of Google sheets.
What do you dislike about the product?
They do not have native integration with any tools.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We store all of our leads on Airtable and update their respective fields over there.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is very easy to use, and affordable by start-ups which are tight on budget.

This doesn't have all the functionalities which other CRMs provide, but you can consider using it when you are just starting with your business.
