A database meets a spreadsheet -- and it's user friendly!!
What do you like best about the product?
Airtable is a fantastic team collaboration tool. It melds the functionality of a relational database with the usability of a spreadsheet. It's fantastically nimble. Because it offers so many functions, it is allowing us to centralize information that otherwise would have been spread across different documents or even different programs.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish you could link different "bases" to allow for even greater cross-departmental collaboration. The calendar views don't work on mobile (yet) and this would be incredibly helpful for our workflow.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Greater transparency across different functions in the team, one system that can serve as a calendar and as a database, sorting/filtering allows quick access to information necessary for reporting.
Everything Imaginable In One Package!
What do you like best about the product?
I love the ability to use Airtable's flexible UI to achieve all of the trackable information our non-profit can use to stay lean and effective.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside is the time it has taken to learn such powerful software. We are currently trying it out department by department to see how it can be implemented across the company.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We need a way to automate the tracking of Facebook ads, stay on top of projects and visualize their timelines as well as budgets.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Do your research. Write down all the things you want to achieve out of a project management software and speak to a company professional to see if the things you want can be done with this software of it you are better of using another. Depending on the time, you could be saving or wasting a lot of it simply because this software is so powerful you really need to invest time in it in order to understand it (especially if you are native to Excel type programs).

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to customize and include extremely detailed options.
What do you dislike about the product?
Haven't noticed anything I dislike yet. It is currently meeting all of our needs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The non profit I work with does have the need for a huge CRM... but we find it helpful to include more detailed information than our donor software provides. Airtable has been the perfect solution to our needs.
Airtable is the best
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use for creating forms and integrating them into printable documents.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much. If I had to complain I'd say the price, but it is pretty manageable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We love the form creation.

What do you like best about the product?
The possibility to grow, to expand the number of columns, rows, their types, different types of sorting, different views, easy search, sharing of views and other features, make Airtable unique and powerful tool for creation of databases.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing that we dislike regarding the software.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We create databases with data about employees, manage training programs that we provide, and also we plan our events such as conferences with this tool.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
We recommend to notice that billing connected to the workspaces, not to accounts.
Never had this much fun with a spreadsheet

Flexibility, modern interface design, variety of fields, ease of editing complex taxonomy
What do you dislike about the product?
On trackpads, a two-finger scroll back to left side of the spreadsheet sometimes behaves like a "back swipe" in your web browser

What do you like best about the product?

What do you dislike about the product?
- Some blocks that provide basic features should be part of the free plan (world clock, countdown etc).
- Plus plan is a waste. I feel like the market for those needing extra data is limited. The features offered in pro are a necessity and should be included in the Plus plan.
- Page Designer needs more functionality. Basic things like editing individual column text font are not possible which again seem basic. Recommend sample-view of font adjustments.
- Non-profit, though discounted, should be offered at a lower rate. This will limit the number of users we get onto AirTable.

Utilize free trial to the maximum potential. Be careful - many of the plus/pro features are necessary to utilize as proper PM tool.
Game changer for remote teams
What do you like best about the product?
Great to have custom fields, many different view options, linking to other records. We use this to plan a festival and for our content calendar.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish more features were available with the free plan
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Collaboration with remote team members; keeps everyone on the same page. Helpful to customize field types.
Simple, Fast and Well Thought Out
What do you like best about the product?
Airtable is simple to use and is a great platform for team collaboration. Having multiple view options under each base works great to adapt to the needs of each team member. There are also many templates available under the template library and this is very helpful to guide us in creating helpful systems.
What do you dislike about the product?
We are still learning the details of using airtable, so that we can use it to its full potential. We have been using the free version and the only complain is that the free version doesn't provide for a lot of storage space. We are moving to the pro however and hopefully this will solve the problem!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Streamlining communication, managing deadline, keeping in track of projects are all things that we have been able to improve with Airtable
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Keep in mind what you are using it for and how many people will need access to the product
Easier than wrangling scientists!

The immediate ease of use! I was able to immediately build a database for our entire organization from scratch.
What do you dislike about the product?
Views are limited for basic users, and I wasn't able to easily figure out how to lookup or return specific fields within other records.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Scaling up a nonprofit business - This allows us to manage dozens of outreach programs and hundreds of scientists across several cities.
