Easy, intuitive and functional
What do you like best about the product?
All the ease of use of an excel sheet and all the functionality of Access database with added tools to work online and to create nice and beautiful reports.
What do you dislike about the product?
The price could be high for little companies or foundations that need to buy the license for several users. It could be nice to have a downloadable version to work offline.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it to manage everything: projects, tasks, databases... It is really easy and usefull to improve the productivity, and to encourage and facilitate the team work.

A Growing Platform for a Growing Program
What do you like best about the product?
I coordinate a growing film program, and I like the ability to have large amounts of data at my fingertips. It's very easy to setup databases and link the data across datasets. I appreciate the design aesthetic. It feels very modern and fun but not cutesy.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'd like the iOS apps to be a little more robust. You can do basic data entry on them, but you can't create all the views available in the web app. Having access to data offline in the iOS app seems to be a key missing feature. I'd like to see more customization in forms and views.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a growing educational film program, we need to coordinate both students and equipment in a way that maximizes resources. Airtable allows us to visualize a lot of data very quickly. We are able to get large amounts of data directly from the student and streamline a lot of our old paper processes.
Amazing Software
What do you like best about the product?
I've been searching for a visually appealing, easy to use, easily accessible database for so many years that I gave up and created my own filemaker database on a personal server. Stumbling upon this app has completely changed that. Airtable is perfect for my needs; easy to use, adaptable but super powerful.
What do you dislike about the product?
The IOS app is currently a little limited but I'm hoping this will be addressed in the near future.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This has essentially replaced several pieces of software for me. It acts as my CRM, my Inventory tracker, my project planner and my schedule planner. What I love is that I can now tie all this info together and using things like Zapier, can automate a lot of my processes.
Easy and quick
What do you like best about the product?
It's fantastic how quick it is to build a powerful database. It's also impressive how many new features have been implemented since I started using Airtable. Plus the Mac OS and iOS applications work really well.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is not much to dislike, I think I would like more views for the database but that is mostly an aesthetic issue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Airtable for project management in a team. Before we did not had a centralised platform where all the collaborators could view and edit projects and now we do. It's been much quicker and easy to share information between all the collaborators.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would recommend to use the mobile and desktop applications.
Love this app! - so many uses and so easy to use!
What do you like best about the product?
It is very intuitive, and is incredibly useful to us for project management, project request information gathering and tracking, and hiring processes. We are loving the ability to easily configure the tables, store attachments, share information, and schedule events that will interface with our office calendars. It is easy to promote adoption of this application because it is so easy-to-use.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be great to have better ability to customize entry forms. Allowing form designers to customize the layout of these forms would help make the form entry easier, and more compelling, to complete.

Wonderful experience switching many community street festival's information systems over to Airtable
What do you like best about the product?
I love that Airtable is a beautifully designed tool that lets me implement my own collaborative, domain specific, streamline solutions to a variety of projects. For me, as a database professional, Airtable has proven to be incredibly empowering as I design workflows and mini-apps for the data intensive projects I get involved in. The idea of a intuitive, collaborative and online, and elegant relational database system hits the sweet spot for so many projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing really comes to mind other they could work on their pricing structure so they are appropriate options for all scenarios
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed a collaborative, database backed, information system, with online forms for our community street festivals to replace our unruly Google Doc system that we had built up over the years. It landed beautifully and our festival organizers and volunteers love it.

Try it for a small project that requires a database first to see the power

What do you like best about the product?
Availability as web app, for PC, Mac, Android an iOS. Easy to use and understand - no training required! Absolutely 100% reliable - once you add data, Airtable will not lose it. Crowd contribution and sharing is excellent!
What do you dislike about the product?
Handling of dates in european format could be better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With more and more data accumulating over the years, spreadsheets were becoming increasingly insufficient for us. We knew we needed a database that was easy to handle, required minimum to no training for users and available on PC, Mac und mobile devices. Airtable did all that and more for us.
Fantastic! Airtable is intuitive and easy to use; but amazing powerful.
What do you like best about the product?
You can easily link spreadsheets to each other and transition seamlessly between views. And virtually no training is needed because it is so well designed.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far, so good. I really have trouble thinking of potential improvements.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are keeping a remote team of collaborators from different organizations organized on team.
Great for Visual Thinkers!
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to view my tasks and plans in whatever visual mode my brain is feeling on a particular day.
What do you dislike about the product?
Wish there was a small team option where I could admin a group account for my small non-profit team, rather than separate accounts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Task management! A huge part of my work is event and training planning, and airtable allows me to map out every piece in detail and keep myself on top of easy to forget tasks and contacts. The multiple view options, and the option for a column to refer back to another table is what really makes it above and beyond other task management options for me.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Don't set yourself up to rely on the software before you've had plenty of time to figure it out!
Wow! Solved our NGO's DB challenges in a hurry!
What do you like best about the product?
We were able to upload our existing Excel files for our clients and sponsors and customize them within AirTable very quickly. The multiple views of our data including the Blocks features, putting our data on maps and charts is exceptional. The ability to construct an input form for field data capture on smartphones is outstanding. AirTable solves many of our data challenges in a hurry!
What do you dislike about the product?
The price can be a bit of a challenge but AirTable provides discounts for charities that make it much more affordable and worth the investment!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We need to track our homeless clients in Cambodia from interview through to the building of their new homes and beyond. Airtable gives us many tools to do this very efficiently and effectively and to communicate with our teams and sponsors along the way. It will save us time and money and allow us to build more homes for the homeless. Thank you! 🙏🌞
