    Sayre A.

Great for Teams, Not So Much for Solo

  • March 20, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love the fact that I can pull in information from Google Drive, Evernote, and other sources. The integrations are good and well thought out.
What do you dislike about the product?
The pricing. As a solo member on a non-existent budget I have to pick and choose what I spend my money on. Air table has some amazing features, but they are hidden behind a pay wall that I can't justify each month when I can do similar things in Numbers/Excel (it will just take a bit more time)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I was attempting to consolidate data collected in traditional spreadsheets, info from Google Drive, business and person data. I use a lot of graphs and with Airtable that is a paid feature. So in essence I guess I didn't solve any problems with Airtable as I cannot afford to climb over that pay wall.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Consider what you need to use it for before committing. You will have full access to all the premium features during your trial. If you fall in love with something, make sure you know if it's paid or not.

    Online Media

If you can dream it, you can build it!

  • March 20, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The flexibility of the UI let's you create pretty much any kind of relational dataset. And if you need extra horsepower, add Zapier or a custom API solution.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish it had a field type to hold a checklist.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Airtable as a hub of information inputs: forms, emails, etc - and then use Airtable as the data source for outputs into other software and services that need access to something from various systems. It serves as a great funnel middleman.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you need more power than a Google Sheet, give it a shot!

    Non-Profit Organization Management

Great for a small to medium organization that needs to get organized with a database!

  • March 19, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The customer service is great. We have the free version and many programs that compared to AirTable would've cost around $20/user/month.
What do you dislike about the product?
The tabs in project management could become more organized. It is difficult to upload excel spreadsheets and merge them into the program (although it is possible). You have to pay extra to color code tabs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is a free or very inexpensive program that has many apps you can choose from to solve problems within your organization or business. In my small to medium sized nonprofit, we primarily use it for tracking clients and resources.

Team Building

  • March 19, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
This is a great product. It lets our team of employees stay in sync even though we are at multiple locations. It helps us keep track of our members that travel and aren't able to come in on a daily basis, as well as our common members.
What do you dislike about the product?
At first, this interface is a little hard to figure out. I had to watch a few youtube videos after the program walked me through how to use it's interface.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to easily keep track of all customers and members at multiple locations, and at the same time keep all of our team members in the same. There's a lot less grey area and confusion through using this product.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I definitely recommend paying attention in the beginning when their interface walks you through how to use the product overall.

    Design

What do you like best about the product?

What do you dislike about the product?
The dashboard remains the same regardless of how much you only use 1-2 tables.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Shareable content with the team.

Airtable simplified my complicated content management process.

  • March 19, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Airtable is the most user-friendly content management tool I've ever used. It's collaborative and completely customizable. Any team member can easily go into Airtable see an overview of our content schedule, track content that is in process and create new content in a streamlined way.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing that Airtable is missing is an easy integration with social media platforms to schedule posts because I never want to leave this platform!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were tracking our content creation process in many different mediums - excel sheets, over email, in google docs - and many things slipped through the crack or took too much time to get content edited and posted. Now, with Airtable, we have cut staff time in half and are producing more content than ever.
