Airtable: Advanced Features and Seamless Automation

  • November 11, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I have been using Airtable for more than 3 years now and this is one of the most advanced spreadsheet that I have ever used. The software is packed with different type of table management features and you can also add photos and videos to these documents. The software helps us in sending regular reminders and emails to our all the latest leads automatically.
What do you dislike about the product?
As learning each and every feature of Google sheet and MS Excel was already a difficult task earlier and the struggle is same with airtable and mostly for new users because learning it's all the usability is slow and time taking process. You will need a proper training session of more than 45 days to learn each and every feature and work perfectly by taking its optimum benefits.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One of the most usable feature of Airtable is that the whole team can work in a collaboration on a same project and the software is completely customizable for any kind of work or business. You can create list of inventory, list of customer leads or something else related to all your business. All of these data can be easily maintained on this software with maximum accuracy.

Airtable Makes Data Management Effortless and Secure

  • November 04, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
irtable is such a systematic tool — it offers amazing ways to organize and manage data. I’ve been using it for a year now, and I’m completely used to it. Unlike Google Sheets or Excel, there’s almost less risk of anyone messing up the data.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I don’t like is that it doesn’t show who made the last changes. Or maybe I just haven’t found that option on my dashboard yet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Airtable has really made my data more systematic. I don’t have to spend hours building performance charts anymore — it’s literally just one click. I also love how organized everything stays. Unlike Sheets or Excel, where people can mess up the data if they’re not careful, Airtable keeps things neat and under control."

Airtable: Centralized Data Management with Flexible Views and Seamless Integrations

  • October 22, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
1. I like the fact that Airtable can be used as the central foundation for storing data coming in from different sources and manage them in different tables.
2. Second most loved feature is the ability to switch between multiple data views as Gantt Charts, Kanban or Grid.
3. It is user friendly to use
4. It offers great integration libraries to establish a one-way or 2-way sync between different software systems.
What do you dislike about the product?
1. Pricing is a bit overwhelming.Free and lower plans have imposed limits on storign the multi media files that can be a bottleneck.
2. Airtable is totally cloud based solution which might lead to high infrastructure cost and sometimes limit the data accessibility in offline situations as they don't offer any off-cloud services.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a proejct manager, it greatly helps to manage the end-to-end implementation plan for a project by allowing to build relational databases. Moreover the emerging AI offering are coming into help by automating some intensely repetitive tasks.

A Perfect Blend of Simplicity and Power for Organizing Everything!

  • October 16, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I really like how easy and flexible Airtable is to use It feels like a mix of Excel and a project management tool, but way more visual and organized. I can customize everything from colors to views — and it helps me keep track of projects without feeling messy. The dragand drop interface and templates save me so much time, and honestly, it just makes organizing stuff kind of fun!
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it gets a little slow when there are too many records or attachments in one base. Also, some of the advanced features are locked behind the paid plan, which can be a bit limiting for small teams or students. Apart from that, everything else works really well for me!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Airtable helps me organize all my projects, tasks, and content ideas in one clean place. Earlier, I used to juggle between multiple tools and spreadsheets, which was honestly confusing. Now I can collaborate with my team, attach files, and track progress in real time — all in one dashboard. It keeps everything structured and saves me so much time, especially when managing design or tech projects.

Expensive and Less User-Friendly Than Asana, Lacking Task Completion tick button

  • October 15, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
- Ease of integration, yes
- We use it as a ticketing system, it provided us a way to automate escalation of tickets
- Nice kankban view for a ticketing system
What do you dislike about the product?
- There is no ticking project to complete, you have to update the status by selecting
- It doesn't provides props when you complete a task
- It is expensive
- I don't find it very user friendly compared to asana
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
1. It's solving the streamlining of customer support at my organization. We are able to easily customize it to support us in the needs we have in a support system.
2. It is a central place where we are putting all our partner's projects and saving insights easily for future use. We are also able to connect it to different dashboard. It's really solving the problem of fragmented systems that were being used for the different streams of work we have. It has become one central place from which we use for surveys, insights, project and task tracking, integration with our weekly mailers for compiled data analysis, etc.

Has required stronger collaboration features while still supporting complex project workflows

  • October 15, 2025
  • Review provided by PeerSpot

What is our primary use case?

I basically use Airtable for client projects and my own personal projects. As a freelancer, whenever a client wants to work on projects involving project management, inventory management, and CRM for businesses, I use Airtable to create their dashboards and automation that helps their workflow easier and runs things behind the scene.

I used it for stock management for an e-commerce brand that deals with clothing stores to help them track their incoming sales and stock levels. I also used Airtable with Softr; I used Airtable to design a tech school for users and students who wanted to register within the tech academy, and I used Softr for the front end to design the application for the school. Airtable was the back end while Softr was the front end for that project.

On my personal level, I use Airtable extensively to keep track of my tasks. Whenever I have a project for a client, I log that project on my own Airtable, track the progress, and track milestones as I deliver them to the client. For my activities at home, if I don't want to forget any event, I keep it on Airtable and create automation that reminds me about the event.

What is most valuable?

The best features in Airtable include the flexibility and the fact that I could create relational databases. Before I started using Airtable, I was using Excel which didn't offer these capabilities. The ability to create relationships between tables and see through what's working in other departments is great for me. I can do scripting and work on large data sets on Airtable. It makes it easy for me, as working on those data sets on Excel tends to slow me down, but on Airtable, it's much faster.

I can integrate Airtable with other platforms; aside from the native integration where I can send notifications to Slack teams and messages to Gmail, I can also connect with Make.com to share data. The interface on Airtable is exceptional. Working for my clients, when a client didn't want access given to all teams, we structured that on the interface and the different teams got different access to different tables.

Airtable's rich field types help in organizing complex data for my team. The advanced field types work exceptionally with features such as linking records together. I can link records from other tables and see what's happening, use the lookup field, the roll-up field, and the count field to see what's occurring in other departments and generate insights. Unlike other CRMs, data cannot enter if it's not properly structured. If I want to input an email and it's not valid, it won't allow it because it expects the data to be structured appropriately.

What needs improvement?

What I would to see improved in Airtable is a chat feature. I really want to see a scenario where collaborators working on a project could easily chat, asking questions and discussing changes immediately on the project. I would love to see something a chat app on Airtable where we could communicate as we work on a project.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have been working with Airtable for more than 12 months now, having started using it around November 2024.

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?

I have worked with other project management solutions apart from Airtable, including HubSpot, Trello, and Monday.com.

How was the initial setup?

The initial setup of Airtable is very straightforward and not complex at all. If you're familiar with Google Sheets and Excel, you can easily understand Airtable. Just by looking at it, you can see the fields and understand that certain places are for short text, names, phone numbers, and emails. You can connect buttons to access another portal or URL. Looking at everything, you can figure things out even before going to the academy or YouTube to study. Airtable has made everything easy; you can look at the platform on your own, spend time with it, and figure everything out.

What was our ROI?

I have seen the return on investment with Airtable. When I deliver work, the ROI is for their business. On my end as a freelancer, I use it to track projects that I work with for clients and my own personal dealings. I use it to monitor my performance as a freelancer, checking if I'm doing work and delivering on time. For clients' projects, I don't really investigate their ROI unless such discussion is requested.

What other advice do I have?

The integration aspect has helped my team's workflows by making operations run smoothly. For the inventory store project, whenever stock alert was low, the team receives automatic notification when the threshold was low without someone needing to review the base. The head of the team receives notification and places orders for that product.

With integration through Make.com and Zapier, data coming in from external sources can be stored in Airtable for future records. The seamless integration with Airtable doesn't require stress or searching for APIs. Airtable's API easily connects with Make.com and Zapier, and the flow goes seamlessly.

The benefit of using customizable views for managing projects is that clients can see things differently. The Kanban view allows progress tracking, the Gantt view works for project management, and the calendar view with color coding helps visualize project dates. Each view is perfectly customized to meet specific purposes.

I have utilized collaboration tools in Airtable and worked with different teams successfully. Though you can't immediately see when someone is working, the structure allows each collaborator to work on their project while maintaining sync with others' work. Setting up new workflows using Airtable typically takes between two to three hours for small projects, and one to three days for complex projects requiring multiple reviews.

Airtable's pricing is perfect with different plans for different needs. Small businesses can choose suitable plans, and there's still a free feature available. The pricing is fair and accessible for every business plan.

Airtable does it all with Excel database functionality, spreadsheet capabilities, automation, and visually appealing interfaces. Data insights change in real-time, making it flexible and user-friendly. When I started using Airtable, I progressed from beginner to almost pro within 24 hours because it was easy to understand.

Airtable is a great platform for any organization, offering seamless operation and perfect interface to showcase products to clients and staff. Different access levels can be set for customers, staff, and management. For organizations working with large datasets, the enterprise plan provides ample space.

My rating for Airtable is 10 out of 10.
