What do you like best about the product?
Airtable is awesome because it combines the simplicity of a spreadsheet with the power of a db as I will say many time, making it easy to use and easy to access. I like becuase:
Customizability: You can create tailored workflows, organize projects, or track data with easily
Collaboration Features: It's great for teams to collaborate in real time with messaging and @'ing people
Ease of Use: The drag-and-drop interface and clean design make it approachable, even for non-technical users (some of my team)
Integrations: It connects with tools like Paperform and Excel
Views: You can switch between grid, Kanban, calendar, gallery, and timeline views depending on your project needs - love this!
Automations: You can set up actions like sending emails, or updating fields automatically. There are others, I just don't use.
Great application
What do you dislike about the product?
Some bad things:
1. Lack of advanced reporting
2. Mobile app could be improved
3. Pro plan restrictions on some features - ridiculous
4. Crashes rarely - and have to refresh
5. Some advanced fatures are a bit complex too use
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Airtable solves several problems for my team by combining the simplicity of a spreadsheet with the power of a db. It helps me organize my project, adjust data as needed, and collaborate in real-time with my team. I also use the forms features that makes onboarding new users great! By offering custom views for multiple team members, many different column items, and automation features, it saves me so much time on repetitive tasks and allows for better focus on high-priority tasks. Overall, it simplifies data organization, improves team collab, and adapts as my projects grow, making it a great tool for managing my team and project.

Streamlines Processes for PMs

What do you like best about the product?
Airtable is such a value for working on our social media team as it organizes content for us in a timely manner, keeping the team on top of timing and making sure each post has what it needs for launch. It is easy to use and beginner friendly, and I love that it updates live for everyone else so no refreshing is necessary. We use Airtable daily and have now started implementing it in other areas of marketing that may need process support.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside to Airtable is not having a good way to show timelines. There is a gantt chart and timeline feature but it is elementary at best, proving difficult to be a one stop shop for all things related to event management.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Organizing content on a timeline, benefits me due to freeing up my time focused on creating rather than simple administrative tasks

Such a useful product - but with many hiccups

What do you like best about the product?
Great and accessible way for tech-savvy-non-developers to be able to create DB-powered solutions that integrate easily at their organizations. A daily use tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
The pricing structure is user-based, not data-based, which makes it hard to implement at a company. Customer support is lacking. Not easy to set up a process when we not everyone can edit data due to the massive cost of making someone an editor.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helps us bridge gaps between other pieces of software.

What do you like best about the product?
Airtable makes databases intuitive to create and maintain.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to be able to run it on-prem, as a secure desktop app.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Airtable centralizes and democratizes team data. Always-on, always updatable. Incredibly flexible. It can run surveys, intake forms, reporting, and more.

The most flexible yet robust tool available on the market

What do you like best about the product?
Airtable, and the community of users, has enabled me to build powerful tools that meet my personal and small business use cases. It's been tremenddously valuable to tap the community for ready-to-use bases or for starting point bases that allow me to customize and build tools for my needs.

I have built tools that power my personal and business expense ledgers, CRM's and even planned a group trip using a customized base. I am very proud of how I've used it to capture and store key digital items such as articles, images and links that come my way - easily referenced using a slick gallery view with cover images for each record.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be tough to "know where to start" with Airtable. But if that's where you are with the platform - have a look at the Gallery pages and use what others have shared to get inspiration on how to get started!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helps me stay in touch with key contacts, on top of my finances and allows me to build a repository of key records / assets that inspire me on a daily basis because they are easy to retrieve/ view.

Keeps our team on the same page!

What do you like best about the product?
As a marketing department for a college, our team has hundreds of tasks live at the same time. With Airtable, we can check on the status of a large project such as an annual report down to a quick task like scheduling a social media post. For those of us who are uber list-oriented, we can see our priorities at a glance, plus supervisors can see who is overloaded and who has margin. Creating specialized views for other departments allows us to communicate how we've supported them through past, present and future marketing tactics.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be helpful if free users could do a bit more than view, such as change status of a task.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Deadline management

What do you like best about the product?
Airtable is easy to use for non-technical people, but also robust and powerful enough to be an enterprise solution. For Product Operations management it can't be beat in term of creating workflows, tools for tracking, automations for communication... this isn't the Airtable of 2019... Airtable has become user friendly and enterprise worthy.
I was able to build an OKR tracker, project tracker, feature development and roadmap, feedback loop and release tracker in less than a month and onboard the entire team....
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish it had a bit more functionality to support task mangement in project management.... milestones work well, and you can create anything that is in Asana.... but I wish it had a way to create sections in a project without taking up a level in the interface... but this isn't that bad because you can use fields to make sections... I would love to see more than 3 levels to an interface....
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Connecting our strategic planning with our roadmap and project portfolio.

What do you like best about the product?
Make's powerful automations and data structures available in a way that workers without a CS degree can wrap their minds around.
What do you dislike about the product?
The pricing doesn't scale great for a mid sized small business. If you have 3 users it's an amazing value but if you need 15 the per person costs can really start to add up.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
data automations, workflows, information gathering, no code tool building. Data entry, forms, email automations, QR code management, IP cateloging.

The most powerful app in existence

What do you like best about the product?
Airtable is the definition of limitless. If you can dream it, chances are you can build it with Airtable. At minimum, it'll help you prototype, clean and organize data, and give you better insights into building your product. At maximum, it'll be the one stop shop for any custom application.
What do you dislike about the product?
The inability to put bases into folders.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Integrated AI. Automations. Project management. Organizational management. I can go on for days

I set up all my clients on Airtable

  • December 18, 2024
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It's the most versatile software I use. I've been able to track incredibly complicated art collections for clients and share only the details buyers need to see. Airtable always wows people! It looks complicated, but when I show clients how they can move around Airtable and access important details, they are blown away. For art collectors, this is a powerful tool becaue it's so easy to implement and integrate their colelction into the format.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find their system of charging for use very confusing. I want to share my art collection template but worry that I'll be charged when people request permission to use it. I wish this were better explained.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Number one problem is keeping track of art collections--images, purchase records, details about provenance, framing, condition, and current appraised prices are vital for imortant collections. When a client wants to see art, it is so easy to create a table with a subset of images and details and send that to the buyer. Airtable is a gamechanger in my business dealings.
