A remarkable service, constantly improving

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to develop workflows, multiple views in kanban, gallery, forms is a game changer, nothing out there tackles all of these elements with the level of detail that Airtable sees.
What do you dislike about the product?
Pricing can be a bit high for larger teams, it would be great to get bulk discounts as you go up in team numbers. And also an option to have one person have pro with invited people but they can't access the rest of the pro services.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This service takes excel into the 21st century. It makes data directly actionable, filterable and usable by multiple people in multiple formats. The external views then make this a total game changer.

(Almost-) the Perfect Organization Software

What do you like best about the product?
I love too many things about Airtable. Firstly I find it quite useful to organize and relate data. Sometimes you have to work with abstract connections between different data, and Airtable allows me to set a reference and define the rest of the parameters around them.
Also, it's so helpful to have different ways to display the same information. In my office, we use personal and 'grouped' views to customize the content each person has to see. And of course being able to set a calendar, gallery or kanban view it's great to optimize some other tasks through a visual display.
I wouldn't stop talking about features that I like...the extension for graphs, automations, the link with Miro, the general customization, the drag and drop function, filters, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
As I said before, I love the software so much...that's why sometimes I even expect (maybe) too much from it. But one of the things I find a bit tricky is that you can't create a group of blank records at once. In my job, sometimes I have to create 300 records which I will later be filling up, so creating them one by one it's a bit annoying.

Also, I've seen the software change through time and evolve a lot; I've noticed it has many new functionalities and options that sound amazing (I know about them by reading the e-mails you send). In this aspect, it's a pity that my colleagues and I barely have time to check and investigate these new features, even if we are interested in them. So I think it would be helpful to have a more attractive, engaging and simple way to discover them without making a considerable effort (I know it could sound too picky, and it is! haha, I'm just trying to tell you how our experience is with the updates on the software).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As I said it before: organization and visualization of data. But also helps to manage our team and products (specially when talking about tech products).

Airtable allowed us to scale up our production by helping to classify the information, connect data from the search along the whole process. From the research phase till the final publication and delivery to our users.

The possibility to use filters and the automatic sum function.

I miss a proper mobile application - the one available now is not well designed and is really not functional

What do you like best about the product?
Able to do multiple tasks in a single application.

Sometimes automation features are a little bit confusing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I don't have to use multiple applications for all the tasks, even developers can use them. It will save cost and increase productivity.

What do you like best about the product?
Having all of your information presented to you in exactly the way you want (in nice colours) , being able to automate tasks and work collaboratively, streamlining processes.
What do you dislike about the product?
The back end of automations can be non-intuitive, not being able to bulk duplicate items. The number of automations we can create per base can also be limiting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creates clear, accountable to do lists (seeing the history of an item is great). Automations cut WEEKS of work from my workload. Linked records cut tonnes of communication.

What do you like best about the product?
I've been using Airtable since May 2018 until I found another tool that could replace everything they offer. It's a very flexible tool, especially after they introduced extensions to write your own JS scripts, automation that takes over some of what I was doing with Zapier or Make, and now already the ability to create convenient interfaces. With interfaces, it will be much easier to transfer my whole team to Airtable.
What do you dislike about the product?
In Airtable I don't have enough for 50,000 rows and the bigger the database the slower it works. The price per user per month is a bit high for my region. One suggestion would be to have different prices depending on the access level of each user.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I set up a complex system on Airtable where I keep my business accounts because I trust Airtable. The problem that Airtable solves for me is the clutter in which I keep my accounting records. Now I'm sure everything is safe and in order.

- you only need a browser, no instatllation
What do you dislike about the product?
- you cannot color single cells or columns or lines
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
- reduce a huge number of Excel spreadsheets in one Airtable base
- easy combination with softr (website builder) and make automation to other SW API's
- the business performance increases significantly
- you can save manpower that did not add value to your work (you don't need to copy/paste anymore)

Unmatched ease of using databases!

What do you like best about the product?
The power of databases are now accessible to virtually everyone. They can be made as simple or as complex as the user desires.
What do you dislike about the product?
The worst part of Airtable are the integrations, at least for me. I've already seen them start to become more useful and numerous since I've been using it though.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Airtable solves the complexity of storing vast amounts of data and the issues with recording it. The Forms used to collect data can be made extremely user friendly so that data collection is very simple.

What do you like best about the product?
User friendly. Most of it is self explanitory. I am able to streamline some of my work issues using Airtable. But I am still missing a few things that would make it even more user friendly. The interfaces needs some updates.
What do you dislike about the product?
In order to send a form that is prefilled you need to change the whole address that you send to customers. But not everyone gets that link and you can't copy and paste it. You have to recreate it each time. super annoying.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed a CRM and it is working great for that. I'm still waiting for the forms to be able to view from right to left and that would be even better. But i see they are always improving.

Powerful, versatile - and I can't imagine running my business without it

What do you like best about the product?
Airtable gives me the ability to collect critical information from my geographically dispersed sales team and turn that information into actionable data - at a fraction of the cost of similar alternatives for my use case. And I love how easy it is to generate a virtually infinite variety of views of my data without having to worry about creating a problem with the underlying data.
What do you dislike about the product?
Airtable doesn't handle printing well. Most of the time, it's not a big deal, but there are times that it's been very frustrating. And some elements of their subscription model are frustrating - two people who each have a Pro level account and have their own "workspace" cannot collaborate without one or the other paying for an additional user license.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use my entire travel agency "back office" on Airtable. I use it to record sales for myself and my entire team, keep track of commissions from nearly 100 different suppliers, and track commission payments to sales agents.
