Great tool for teams!
What do you like best about the product?
Used AirTable while transitioning into a new product role. Used many ways but was surprised at how easy it was to learn and use in such a short amount of time.
What do you dislike about the product?
When I started using Airtable, it was a little tough to understand the interfaces and how to use them. With time, it's gotten a lot better and clearer, but it wasn't at first. Also, it was not clear that you have team bases and a private base, I struggled for some time to have personal spaces that my team didn't see and thought this was not possible for the longest time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tracking. My team and I mostly use Airtable for tracking various information (customers, products, states, etc...). Being able to add forms that I can share with my team, which automatically adds an entry into my base once submitted is extremely useful as well.
Intuitive, easy and makes sense
What do you like best about the product?
Tables, relations, automations helped us make a full CRM system for managing our business. The dashboards on top were a great addition that give us instant insights on our KPI’s. All with a user experience that is intuitive and just makes sense.
What do you dislike about the product?
Performance sometimes gets degraded due to intensive memory usage through the browser. May be a specific application for airtable can help resolve that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
CRM tables and tools. And real time dashboards accessible from anywhere is really great.
Airtable is incredible
What do you like best about the product?
Graphical nature of interface. Relational databases can be hard to manage, but airtable makes it fun!
What do you dislike about the product?
Inability to let other users edit a record. It's not fianacially viable to get an account for each client just to have them edit one data point.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Almost too many to count: managing employee records, from submissions, rsvps, galleries, marketing tracking, orders
Easiest relational database I ever used.
What do you like best about the product?
Uncomplicated, intuitive, easy for non-techies to build and use. Enough tools for most use-cases. Robust enough to handle information creation, collection and use for most organizations.
What do you dislike about the product?
Arrangement of information from calculated fields.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are a Homeowner Association and we use it to track multiple inquiries from residents as well as responses, to record the details, status and costs of all repair projects and to keep resident and contractor contact information. We also use it to track long-term (reserve) items and their useful life, as well as the planned costs for such.
The best tool for making sense of data and optimizing workflows
What do you like best about the product?
Automations! Having data trigger emails, updates to records, Slack messages, etc has been huge. Also love the familiar of a "sheet" feel with the robustness of changing the view to make sense of data in new ways, and the ability to link records together.
What do you dislike about the product?
The biggest thing missing is that you can't do a universal search across all your bases. Its form view is great, but would be even better if had more robust survey features (e.g. ability to add images, ability to use rich text to hyperlink/bold text)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use it as a research repository, and to manage my tasks, but also use it for personal use for budgeting, tracking restaurant visits, and keeping track of visit ideas
As easy as spreadsheets but way more powerful to manage your data
What do you like best about the product?
It's a fully-fledged relational database - the fact that for every column you decide yourself what TYPE of data to put in your rows gives you the power to build any data management system you can think of - from CRM to task list movie review database to recipes, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can present the data in any LOGICAL way you wish through "views", but it doesn't do so in a very visually appealing way - it's more of a backend tool than frontend.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm building an industry directory of software and vendors, and using Air table as my backend in combination with another no-code tool for frontend. It enables me to organize and present the data in a simple and easy-to-navigate way.
Really intuitive and yet powerful
What do you like best about the product?
I use Airtable for tracking my personal projects and it does it really well. It's super easy to insert new data, create views with a certain set of filters as well as retrieve precisely what I need in a blink of an eye. Mobile app is excellent too.
What do you dislike about the product?
Haven't found any yet, really, everything great so far.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Project tracking. It makes my data accessible, no matter the device I use.
Airtable is the best
What do you like best about the product?
The flexibility of creating databases and the usability of using those databases.
What do you dislike about the product?
Many times I needed to create graphics, and I had no way to do it
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use it to manage teams and even manage my son's diabetes.
An indispensable tool that made me love spreadsheets
What do you like best about the product?
The normal way of consuming data in a spreadsheet is AN EFFING NIGHTMARE. Airtable is a tool that I use for consuming spreadsheet-based information in a method that I can actually "read" and appreciate! I LOVE that I can use the different views to share & gather info (like creating an instant form from my database)! The recent addition of "Interfaces" (aka being able to create a customized view I can navigate) was a spectacular feature I can't get enough of! Additionally, some incredible tools out there integrate effortlessly with Airtable making it part of my "inner circle" of tech used in my business.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have things I dislike. If there's a legit complaint, it's probably that I spent too much time effing around in the platform "trying stuff" that I don' t need to because the tool is so useful I CREATE reasons to use it haha!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Airtable has become a hub of information in my business. I use it for everything from tracking my contacts & sales process, to organizing the content & signature framework inside my business. I LOVE that's not "just a productivity" tool because I don't really use it that way (although many do)... with the flexibility of use cases & interfaces, I can literally create an airtable for everything.
Keep all your projects it one space
What do you like best about the product?
I love the level of customization Airtable provides. You create a base for anything you need. Content calendar, project tasks, org chart, whatever. So versatile.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I'm not in love with is the share view options for those you want to share some info with but not give them full collaborator access. There are options and work around, but I'd like them to be able to comment on records if possible.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Airtable is helping solve project tracking, information management, and content planning. It's really helpful to have such a versatile tool because then you can keep all of this in one platform.
