Airtable replaces Spreadsheets for 99% of workflows use-cases
What do you like best about the product?
UI/UX is straightforward and easy to use. Entity-Relational-concepts are embedded into the UI without users even noticing it
What do you dislike about the product?
API is limited in both functional & rates
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Internal applications & reporting
The most intuitive data management system
What do you like best about the product?
I love the different views AirTable offers. Being able to see things on a calendar, in a typical spreadsheet, or in gallery view is so helpful! I also love how easy it is to filter data and find what I need. The options are pretty much unlimited in getting different ways to filter, sort, and group information on the table.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that on the free plan, I can only run so many automations and extra things like graphs. I wish I had the option of adding more for a smaller price than the monthly fee.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use AirTable to monitor my product listings, manage my business finances, keep track of blog posts and social media posts, and also personal things like vacation planning and Christmas lists. AirTable provides me an easy way to have everything stored in one place. By using the different views, I can see all of my social media posts with the captions and the date I last posted them. I can literally plan an entire months worth of content in about 30 minutes, by combining AirTable with my social media scheduler. My business finances table allows me to create a form to type information on when I make a purchase, and then I can easily filter and categorize the information when it is time to balance my expenses at the end of the month. My product lists are always easily able to be found, because I have all of the information I need right at my fingertips. I also use AirTable to help me keep track of resources and what step they are in. It's easy for me to see which of my resources need a new cover, which need new content, and which are with my virtual assistant for finishing touches.
Finally—The all-in-one tool for me!
What do you like best about the product?
App + desktop are perfectly synced. Whenever I send feedback on a feature, the next update includes resolution! Visually and tactically, it's incredibly customizable. I love the design. The functionality is sophisticated without being cumbersome or difficult to use. Communication from the product team is amazing and I always know when there's a new feature or even when there's an outage (which is rare).
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing. I seriously love Airtable, and I have no requests because they've implemented my feedback already!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Project management, budget management, team comms, visibility across teams for all projects. I don't have to use multiple programs anymore and everything updates live.
The Dashboard you never knew you always needed
What do you like best about the product?
Airtable is so intuitive, beautiful, easy to use and edit, and allows me to view data in so many different ways. I can make it my own without it being overwhelming.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish it synced with email like hubspot does. I'm excited for it to grow into a full crm.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Airtable helps me organize my data in a visually beautiful way, saves me time navigating fields, and allows me to customize as I go so that I can continue adapting to my needs.
Versatile No/Low Code Data Management Solution
What do you like best about the product?
Airtable's flexibility allows me to use it to manage work and data across departments. Its numerous applications and ease of use make it the first product I think of when determining a data management solution.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Page Designer and Chart extensions need more flexibility in application and configuration. The Page Designer focuses primarily on individual records vs a wholistic data model. The Chart display options are too narrow in.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I manage our Marketing Metrics as well as operations. I have implemented solutions using only Airtable, as well as utilizing Zapier to connect Airtable to data collected through HubSpot, Hootsuite, WordPress, and our other CRM software.
I can't imagine trying to do this much work without Airtable
What do you like best about the product?
Airtable was easy to learn, but it is also crazy-powerful. I'm no stranger to developing databases, but Airtable has made it so very easy to develop and deploy them.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not a lot to dislike about Airtable. Interfaces are fairly new, so I'm looking forward to those being more fleshed out with layout options. And for me, the 50,000 record limit in the Pro Plan is a bit limiting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Airtable helped my team to stop relying on countless spreadsheets and emails and has become the one tool where we track the hundreds of projects we do every month.
Superpowered Spreadsheet w/Automation
What do you like best about the product?
Airtable is super simple to use. You can beautifully collect information, run it through simple automations, and manage the data with ease.
What do you dislike about the product?
Their Interface Designer leaves a lot to desire. I hope they will invest in adding additional options and improving the usability of this area of the product
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Airtable allows me to define the information and process exactly as I desire for different business processes, no software getting in the way.
One of my absolute favorite tools that I use daily!
What do you like best about the product?
Airtable is so flexible and has many amazing features. They are also often improving the platform and do seem to have an ear out for their customers' wants and needs. I love how easy it makes collaborationg and sharing data on various levels with different views of the same data set. It makes creating and maintaining databases easy. It's also helpful that they include native automations that help optimize processes, especially around maintenance. And their new interface feature is awesome (though it can use some continued improvements) as it makes it eas to share visualization of the data and improves user experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
As with any tools and softwares, there are some gaps here and there. I think for my team, their billing and the confusion around how users shift in tiers has been the #1 pain point but the team has always been kind and helpful from the beginning (even when we only had two paid accounts).
As for general functionality, we wish there were a way to let people submit changes to their own data without requiring a paid account or workaround. Would love to see a portal type function without having to add a third party tool but really this is just a bonus. I also get a little frustrated with how record IDs function in automations. For some things, you can't access the record's ID if it's not a field in the actual base. The search record tool in automations is not often as helpful as it could be. Usually, I'd like to use the found record in an action but because it acts as a list of multiple records it doesn't always work out, so I have had to use workarounds.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Airtable helps us on so many different levels! It helps us create and maintain databases of people and data that we can share internally and easily have a public view embedded into our website or resources for our external audiences to access. It easily gives us control over who can see what information. It gives us the power to create out own databases without having to outsource for something more complicated when not really necessary. I also feel like it's much easier for me to sort and draw connections between data with Airtable, even for simpler items like expense tracking.
Flexible database collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
My favorite things have been Airtable's flexibility and relatively low learning curve. My team has used Airtable for everything from high-level project plans and performance tracking to web content management and to-do list minutiae.
What do you dislike about the product?
Haven't found a downside yet. It's an extremely rare thing for me to not have some pet peeves about a software solution, but I honestly have no "I wish Airtable..." peeves. I've been able to adapt it to every use case so far.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Saves so much time, reduces email burden, keeps work transparent. Has helped us drastically streamline some internal processes (such as managing multi-author/reviewer content management processes and linking formerly-separate things like project work plans, performance management, and reporting processes together).
Airtable has helped me in my career and personal life.
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of configuration, data manipulation, and aesthetician of Airtable.
What do you dislike about the product?
The cost structure, it makes it so you almost have to get a paid plan.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Storing ux research insights in an easily searchable way.
