What do you like best about the product?
We are a virtual office with everything in the cloud. So great to one place for secure passwords and the ease to share access with other employees.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the changing password process is not as easy as one would like. But I think I have it figured out now.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Truly Secure Passwords!! Being able to share access to various websites and cloud access with employees!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I think Keeper Password Manager is about the best tool for the office I have ever found. I highly recommend it!

Need a zero trust password manager? You need to check out Keeper!

What do you like best about the product?
Support quickly answers any questions and escalates if needed. I really like the shared passwords feature, and the zero-knowledge architecture. Plugins are available for all browsers. Using single sign on simplifies provisioning and the additional layer of security through our MFA provider gives us piece of mind. Even if something happens and Keeper was compormised, bad actors still would not have access to any credentials.

The add-on services (dark web scanning & identity protection) are great value added components.
What do you dislike about the product?
The browser extension can occasionally be flakey. I also don't like that you need to have a seperate admin account outside the scope of SSO if you ever have an issue with single sign on not working. It would be nice if you could have at least one unlicensed admin account.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm no longer seeing post-it notes with passwords. With shared password features, people are no longer locking themselves out of others' accounts. If an employee leaves the company, I can easily reassign the vault to their manager. As we undergo regular audits, we can consistantly show that we provide a zero-knowledge architecture (protected by SSO and additional MFA) for our user's passwords.

Good service, easy to use.

What do you like best about the product?
All cloud baseed, ease of use between teams, provides SSO authentication.
What do you dislike about the product?
Provisioning through Microsoft Azure is a bit clunky and not very well explained.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Problem was password management originally was on-prem which required VPN access, versus having a cloud based password manager is easier for user to access for a global company.

Keeper works quickly and is user friendly.

What do you like best about the product?
Record and Folder sharing is clear and simple. Automatic sign-in is some of the fastest I've seen.
What do you dislike about the product?
The admin overview e.g. I'd like to see all Teams across nodes, I'd like to see all users at once. Not enough exporting options e.g. export .csv of all users + teams + roles in a node. No API.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sharing passwords is a breeze and is relatively understandable for end users.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Keeper is for you if you're looking for a quick, user-friendly password manager.

Solid Password Manager

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
- It is simple for users to use, which I believe is the most important aspect of a password manager
- Easy to transfer all of someone's vault when offboarded to their manager
- Autofill with the Keeper extension works well
- Admin console is easy to understand
- Support has always been quick and helpful
What do you dislike about the product?
- Have had one issue where even as SSO login, if you login to the admin console before logging in to your vault, it will ask you for your master password and requires a reset (which shouldn't be required with SSO login)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeper solves all problems one is trying to solve with a password manager. It allows for the secure sharing of information between users, enables users to have unique, randomized passwords for every site that requires a login, and provides an easy way to do it.

Good product which could be even better

What do you like best about the product?
The product is web based, it is relatively fast
What do you dislike about the product?
Sharing of passwords is complicated, there are no ways to create groups
Doesn't remember search content after you login again
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I keep in Keeper all my passwords and some contact information

Great for Enterprises!

What do you like best about the product?
Fantastic SSO integration once you set it up. Expect to spend a couple of hours getting things ready before you add users.

Very Good documentation in the knowledgebase.

Very Secure workflow. I think Keeper balances their security model with the needs of Enterprise to have control of their accounts much better than any other password manager out there.

Reliable! We use an on-premise auth server called SSO connect (which was what they offered at the time) and it's been rock solid.

Free Keeper for Personal use if the company is buying it. It's a nice perk for security-conscious employees.

Reasonably priced

Support is very knowledgeable and responsive through their ticket system. It's not possible to get emergency support at our level, but they do have the ability to get to really smart people reasonably quickly.

They seem to refine and improve the product over time.

Chrome and Firefox plugins are excellent. Not so much with Safari.
What do you dislike about the product?
Password transfer role is not on by default. That's one of the main reasons to get this (so you can transfer all the passwords from one employee to another one when they are replaced) You have to add the password transfer option before you start making accounts... otherwise, you have to wait until you can get in via SSO.

The mobile app is a little weird in terms of authentication all the time, this is particularly a pain in the ass if you have SSO. However, once you get something like touch ID on iOS setup, it allows login.

Changing SSO login for users (ie if a user changes domain names) has to go through support sort of I wish there was more control over this aspect.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problem was lastpass. People would signup for free accounts and we'd never know what they had in them. When I was checking out Last Pass, it was like Lastpass wanted to be source of Authority for identity. No thanks. Enter Keeper. I love how they figured out how to fit in our workflow!

I love that I can transfer swaths of passwords from old employees to new employees. I love that it uses our SAML IDP to login and they figured out a way to include our IDP in the trust chain.

What do you like best about the product?
The password generator is very useful and versatile, and you can add custom fields to records
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to disable the auto import from browser for new users but that feature is not available yet
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We stopped sending passwords via slack and emails, also we can fine tune which users have access to passwords

    Construction

Very good, with some quirks

What do you like best about the product?
The functionality is generally very good. The ability to create and store passwords from within the browser, using the add-in is really nice. The option for password length and complexity are good and easy to use.
The information available in the admin center is nice too. It is also really cool to be able to "Share" passwords with other users and the functionality around that feature is very nice.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are certain situations where the browser add-in has been troublesome. For instance, I use an MFA tool and every time I am in the admin panel on that website, Keeper fills the name of the company in with my email address so all the users then see my email address instead of the name as it should appear in the app. I assume this might be a coding problem on the site itself, but there is no way in Keeper (that I have found) to tell it to NOT fill in that particular box.
In other words, a more granular control would be nice. Yes I want to use Keeper on "this" site but no I don't want to use Keeper in "that" box.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am the sole IT employee of a company with over 150 users. We don't have the budget to have all users on Keeper but just for my own purposes it is a life saver. I have over 400 passwords and various user names for different devices, websites, services, etc and Keeper is the best tool I've seen for making them not only organized but improving accessibility and time spent entering and changing that info.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I find Keeper to be more than worth the minimal cost. I paid the price for the minimum 5 users and only intended to use it for myself, so I guess you could say I find it to be worth at least 5x what they charge/user. I have since handed out the other 4 accounts to various users and all have seemed happy with the product, though none use it as extensively as I do.
I have some reservations about how easy it would be to roll out and administer a product like this to an entire organization with hundreds of people, particularly when they are not exactly "computer savvy", but since I have not tried, it is only speculation.
