The onyl problem we had that was fixed that our call recorded a clients' internal call without us present
Almost perfect apart from a few minor bugs/annoyances
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to automatically record all our reps calls, provide transcripts and send notifications to Slack when key topics are mentioned. Gong is genuinely an absolute game-changer for our sales team. We're closing more deals, reps are hitting quota faster and we have better insights than ever in to what our customers are discussing.
What do you dislike about the product?
The quality of the audio & video recording is fairly poor (we use the Zoom integration, not sure about others). It's a little frustrating as it can be really choppy to listen back to. I assume it's to save on bandwidth and space, but it would be nice if it was smoother.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Gong to train our reps faster and help them reach quota sooner. It's great to be able to have a library of best practice talking points etc for new reps, and for managers when reviewing calls.

Being able to recall and review successes and potential areas of improvement.

An absolutely usefool tool for developing skills with client calls and interactions. Could use some fine tuning but overall a fantastic software with simplicity of use.

What do you like best about the product?
Collaborating internally and externally with my team members. You can critique and learn from the other people you are working with and listen to the calls that are important. There are a bunch of different other things that Gong has that I've never seen before. The percentages of you talking in comparison to your prospect is very helpful as well. I like that you can see your filler words and be conscious of what you are saying on every call.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is a bit complex to figure out all the different aspects of the system. It was a little harder than I expected and there is definitely a learning curve. But once you get past that it gets a bit easier.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps with learning your filler words and seeing the percentages you're talking, compared to the prospect. There are a ton of other features as well. You can tag other colleagues and your manager when there is a call you want them to listen in. They can critique you and really help you grow.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Definitely use it if you want your team to get better on the phone.

Being able to drive more business and keep people on the phone longer using new work tracks.
Extremely useful for quick marketing research
What do you like best about the product?
Immediately easy to use (requires no prior knowledge or training). Mobile app is useful because I can download calls and listen to them on my own time the way I would a podcast. (Admittedly makes for really boring workout listening.) Keyword search function is great because I can search a competitor's name and immediately have hundreds of things prospects have said about them. I require every member of my growth marketing team to listen to a certain number of calls in Gong per week.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the auto transcription isn't great. Companies' names often get messed up so you can't trust that you're getting all the mentions of a company when you search it. Same issue sometimes happens with more common words but to a lesser degree.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have much deeper insight into our product and the competitive landscape than before, and much more easily. In a few minutes I can scan the transcripts for multiple calls. So much easier than any alternative.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Get it, and then make sure people are using it. It's expensive, so utilization is key to getting your ROI.

What do you like best about the product?
It makes going over calls easy, and makes training even easier. I am constatnly going into the gong library to review my calls after speaking with potential clilents to both find areas that I can improve upon, as well as the pain points that I maty have missed initally.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the transcriptions are off, but very few times does it impact the overall effectiveness of the video. I have found the most effective way for me to watch gong calls is by reading the trascript, and doing so does get me lost occasionally.

What do you like best about the product?
I have used a few call record tools and find that Gong does the best job making these record sessions with reps very easy. Additionally, the analytics and best practices built-in help validate the coaching we are providing to our team. Additionally, the customer success team and onboarding were fantastic.
What do you dislike about the product?
Overall, there is not much to dislike when it comes to Gong. The price was a big step up from what we were spending with our previous solution, but so far the additional information and tools have proven worth it. The transcription tool is not 100% accurate which can make some of the reporting tough, but it is far better than other tools I have used.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are trying to improve our conversion rates from lead to demo and demo to close. The call record sessions are by far and away the most impactful coaching you can do as a sales leader. I love Gong because of the insights they provide relative to monologue/dialogue, patience score, etc. Also, love Gong deals is a nice feature to help reps manage their pipeline with the visibility they cannot get in SF.com

With any software purchase, you should do your due diligence and make sure the product fits your needs.
