Great way to collaborate with individuals
What do you like best about the product?
Gong is a great tool for coaching individuals and scoring the calls based on key metrics that need to be measured. We use this tool every week to help gauge topics that can be discussed internally to help build strategies for approaching and executing.
What do you dislike about the product?
The search capability can sometimes be a bit exhausting when looking for something specific. However, it does provide visibility to other calls that can be used.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is helping build exposure to how calls are maintained throughout the onboarding workflow. It allows us to analyze and provide coaching strategies to peers on how to approach scenarios that can help guide the team.

I love being able to have access to a transcript to really be able to see what is being said on a call in addition to any videos that might be shown as well

Would be nice to be able to search for key words within a transcript if you are looking for something

Providing a platform that will record calls with clients to be able to reference and review at later dates

What do you like best about the product?
Gong is a great way to be able to reference past recordings of my meetings. I also really enjoy being able to use the search function to find keywords that I spoke about.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it is a little hard to find my previous accounts
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In the past, I would not be able to recall the exact verbiage I had used on a call with a client. Now' I'm able to quickly go back and reference these if I never need to
Makes Onboarding as an AE a Breeze
What do you like best about the product?
Gong has hands-down accelerated my learning tenfold. Listening to top reps' sales calls on time has greatly shortened my learning curve to feel confident speaking about our product. Can't recommend it enough.
What do you dislike about the product?
The mobile feature has a little less capability than the web version, but overall that is a small complaint.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allows me to practice and refine my talk tracks. I often listen to myself after most sales calls to see where I could improve for next time.
So Convenient
What do you like best about the product?
Gong has made it so much easier to listen to calls and also pull transcripts! I love that I can search for specific parts of a call using certain words that I have said in the call. Gong makes it easy to share and leave comments on certain parts of a call. Its also nice to be able to search and keep track of clients.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only issue I really have with gong is that sometimes the calls take a very long time to transcribe and load, other then that it is a great and easy system to use!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong makes it super easy to find a specific part of a call instead of having to guess what part you need to listen to. It's also great that everything stays organized and calls are easy to find and comment on.
Really helpful tool for creating meaningful follow-up as well as improving call skills.

1. Search the transcript for keywords (if the AI picks up the right word) this helps me speed up my follow-up and efficiently search for calls that relate to my needs i.e. conversation techniques, product demos, research etc.
2. Speed up the calls - super helpful when I have to go through a lot of videos.
3. Easily select to see what I need to follow up with on the call page within Gong. They also send a suggested follow-up email for this as well.
4. Request feedback directly on a specific call's page from my Manager or Colleagues.

1. Video/shared screen goes away when you click on the transcript. You can't have both at the same time.
2. Don't have an option for turning captioning on when just viewing the video.
3. Don't have an area that showcases what you've improved on over time in terms of the things they rate you on in your calls.
4. Expire externally shared calls after a certain period of time. My customers do training sessions with me and some times want to keep the call recording indefinitely.
5. I believe that it also requires my customers to 'sign in' to view a shared call.

Gong helps me remember what I need to provide my customer with after the call is over - as well as the context surrounding this as I take my own notes during a call. However, going back to get context or receiving the suggested things to follow up on emails they send is really helpful in making sure I caught everything during the customer call.
Biggest fan of Gong!
What do you like best about the product?
Gong has been instrumental in reviewing my videos with customers and refining my sales process! It has helped me ask my prospects and customers better questions to help them! John Kuhns with Gong has been extremely helpful with any questions and has addressed them as soon as possible. I have called him on his cell phone numerous times, and he immediately addresses my concern.
I am a big fan of Gong for my team and will continue to leverage this tool to win new customers and improve as an Account Executive!

What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have anything negative to say about Gong!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When I had prospect meetings before, I couldn't capture everything in the meetings. Now I can go back and search keywords and never miss anything from the session!
Amazing Features & Self Mentoring Tool
What do you like best about the product?
I like almost all built-in features, such as Point of Interest, Coaching and powerful search features. Call library is good for learning and listening to successful colleagues.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish consent could have a better mechanism in place since I sometimes forget during my conversations with my existing customers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can listen to my customer calls, giving me insight into my weak areas to improve. I can also listen to other calls to see the difference about the sales techniques.

The details around the conversations on the pipeline.
What do you dislike about the product?
Understanding the reporting initially and adapting to custom reporting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Understanding what impacts the pipeline in better detail. Also allows for coaching based on the historical data.
Gong is a vital tool for our business
What do you like best about the product?
Love that Gong empowers my enablement team to understand how our strategic initiatives are performing with the account executives. We regularly utilize Smart Trackers to help us track the usage of talk tracks and positioning that we have launched with our team. Our CS and Product teams also use Gong to track customer requests and sentiments.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't really anything that I don't like about Gong. Native integration with our CRM would be cool but is obviously not a deal breaker as integrations can be built.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong helps us to have a better understanding of what account executive talk tracks and positioning resonate with our customers. We're also able to track the actual implementation of the positioning and talk tracks that we give to the team. Leaders are able to use Gong for coaching, leading more deals to close.
