Good logistic to manage
What do you like best about the product?
It's very easy to get all the insights in order to have a better personal performance
What do you dislike about the product?
I noted only not receiveing that much notifications for ex: (Receiving notifications that our call has been evaluated)

What do you like best about the product?
Gong is a great training tool for others to go back and listen how their colleagues handle scenarios as well as the ability to go back and listen to previous details you've gone over the a previous client in case you need to reach back out regarding a similar topic.
What do you dislike about the product?
The search parameters could be widened to make it easier to locate certain calls. I've also had experience with the search engine taking me to my previous search when typing in a new parameter.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong gives us the ability to see what others are doing in their scripting to better build our own independent scripting or handle rough scenarios.
Gong allows for an instant replay of calls and is easier to utilize for coaching
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Gong has options to play calls in different speeds, share calls, and add notes

I don't like the Gong takes a while to upload some calls.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong is solving the issue of allowing each rep to become coachable with actual call examples to go off of for reference.

What do you like best about the product?
Gong allows me to remain completely present on calls knowing that it's recording AND taking notes for me to go back to, vs me scribbling illegible notes and still trying to answer while people talk.

Don't have a negative thing to share - Gong is my favourite software in my toolbox!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having Gong's transcriptions make it incredibly easy to go back and reference everything related to a particular subject with its keyword search. It also saves me SO much time with the transcript. I used to have really messy notes that I would have to type out or attempt to decipher. Gong now captures every important detail for me and allows me to copy + paste any important information I want to share with my team (or even better yet, send them a link to the call itself).
Effortlessly Organizes and Enhances Sales Processes
What do you like best about the product?
I like how Gong makes my life easy by letting me take the information the customer has presented and query that information after the fact. It's really valuable when I'm trying to get information in a pinch because it lets me provide the exact time snippet of the call that I need and ask the right questions across multiple phone calls. I appreciate how by recording a meeting, Gong helps me understand a lot about both parties, their intentions, and their action items, which often get lost in handwritten notes or memory alone. Having that data makes my sales process and outcomes more reliable and consistent. Also, the initial setup was really easy—it was actually so easy, it was spooky.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are notetakers out there in the market that don't require joining the meeting. And I'd probably prefer if Gong would build a version of the recording software that doesn't require a recording. Also, because they don't have a connector with Claude.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong makes my life easier by letting me query and share customer information. It helps understand conversation contexts with time snippets, making data retrieval easy and sales processes more consistent.
Good product for work from home

Something that I'd like to see more information about is creating folders for teams and easily be able to add and remove gong calls to the folders.

What do you like best about the product?
It's great to "shadow" Gong calls as a new employee; it provides an asynchronous way to get customer interaction without having to book meetings.
It's also great to follow up on calls where I missed notes and would like a recap.

What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing significant. The UI is easy to navigate. The calls are displayed nicely and I love being able to follow along with the transcript. I've never had connectivity issues when using Gong, which is nice.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows me to ramp up in my new role at a company. It also allows me to rewatch calls to capture notes that I might've missed during my call with the customer.
Gong as an onboarding tool
What do you like best about the product?
Bringing on new staff is a constant at growing companies. Ensuring that each new resource has a great onboarding experience is critical to both the employee and the company. We have made Gong a vital part of this process. We maintain a folder of Gong calls that are required viewing for each new seller. These calls are the most compelling examples of explaining what our company does and what value our products provide. Feedback from our new staff has been excellent. It is so much more effective than reading documentation and decks. Onboarding assistance is just one example of the many use cases Gong supports for us. But given the importance of reducing ramp time for new hires, Gong has made a difference.
What do you dislike about the product?
We have not discovered anything specific that we dislike about Gong. Like anything, getting value from Gong requires effort from sales leadership and sellers. You must be committed to implementing Gong and making it a core part of your sales transformation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong helps reduce sales ramp time, which benefits us by shortening the time to seller productivity. Gong facilitates sales coaching, which benefits us by upskilling sellers in a practical manner.
Excellent Tool for QA
What do you like best about the product?
Gong is best for remembering the conversation you have forgotten. Using Gong can help you find the weaknesses in your word choice or approach. I have used one other utility like Gong. I can say Gong's layout for transcription and speech is more intuitive.
What do you dislike about the product?
The downside to Gong, at the moment, is the transcription. It can be humorous at best and annoying at worst. Sometimes the words that are spoken do not transcribe accordingly.

Gong allows my team leaders to assess the conversations my colleagues and I have with clients to ensure we are meeting or exceeding the quality standards set by the company.
Great Platform for accurate coaching and enablement on new employees
What do you like best about the product?
The timeline of calls! It's great simple intuitive navigation method. I use it to validate the balance of conversation (esp in sales calls between sales rep, solution consultant and customer)

very little... it would be better if I can personally delete calls, but I suspect only a config setting!

Coaching is the primary goal - I run a Presales team so use for coaching and ensuring consistency across the team and at scale
