Ability to Refine and Check your Sales Behaviours

What do you like best about the product?
With Gong you are able to go back to your sales calls and re-listen to them. This is useful not only from a sales notes perspective but also in the sense that you can learn from what has gone well for you and closed, and what has been lost.

A neat feature is the ability to add comments and tag your colleagues/manager at certain points during your recording meetings where you can ask for feedback and understand how they may have handled the situation.

Lastly, it provides you with an accurate transcript of the call conversation. Having used other similar software before this isn't always the case but Gong has been fairly accurate for me so far.
What do you dislike about the product?
There aren't many major things to dislike however, one thing that can be annoying is that even when you cancel your client meeting that had been arranged, Gong still turns up to the meeting and tries to record for 30 mins.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ability to listen actively during calls rather than scribble down notes - actually listen to your prospects.

From an efficiency standpoint it's helpful when uploading your notes into your CRM it's very easy to take sections from the transcript and paste them in.

Learning - ability to listen to other colleagues calls, understand what's working well for them and upskill as a result.

Gong is essential to sales development

What do you like best about the product?
Gong helps me become a better sales professional by refining my craft through cold calls, customer meetings, and training & enablement. Through Gong, I am able to understand where I excel and areas of improvement. I have real-time feedback I am able to see and hear that gives me an insight of how I can be a better salesperson. My managers are now able to have a main repository to provide constructive feedback by adding notes right to the recorded call! We utilize Gong through Zoom and it's an easy way to integrate into your customer meetings. I have used Gong in the past with a previous company and really found value with documentation of calls and what was covered and most importantly, uncovered. I am about to go back and take notes on pieces that I missed and key takeaways to bring to the rest of my sales team. I am happy to utilize Gong once again with my new company and hope I can continue using this key tool throughout my sales career. I would recommend Gong to any sales professional looking to strengthen their sales skills, management looking to track their sales team's customer meetings & skill development, and any organization looking to provide training to their sales teams!
What do you dislike about the product?
WIth my previous company, I did notice some features that needed some upgrading like the transcript functionality, snippet functionality, and the ability to delete the notetaker on your scheduled calls in advance if needed. I am happy to see the product improvements since then! I will be sure to submit any suggestions for improvement (if given the chance) in the future! I have no other feedback at that time.

What do you like best about the product?
There are a lot of features that I like in Gong, but the basic ability to record, review, and search calls is outstanding. Also the ability to create snippets of calls for review or check content and note-taking for later review is hugely valuable. Integrations with email and tracking is a nice feature as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't much I dislike about Gong, while I like the integrations with email, some of those integrations become a little much and a bit cumbersome to manage.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One of the problems we are solving is the ability to go back to a call and to see the automatically highlighted action items. This lessens the need or pressure of taking notes during the call. Also being able to captured bits of a call that could be important to someone else to learn from.

What do you like best about the product?
- Intuitive UI. Have not found myself lost in the product.
- Share Call - Links are great for cross company collaboration.
What do you dislike about the product?
- Requiring additional licenses at times to be able to share information with other team members.
- Transcript attempts are not great
- Retention of videos is a major pain. I hate returning to a deleted video in hopes of recapturing that information.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
1. Allows me to focus and just be present during calls. Alleviates the need to take notes.
2. Able to review other calls and feedback that others have flagged.

What do you like best about the product?
I like Gong in indescribable terms because it is a software that provides a powerful visibility of conversations for the clients of a company, mentioning that it records and analyzes in an incredible way all calls and sales meetings immediately, extraordinarily We can highlight that this system drastically improves the effectiveness of the equipment sales, being a total success according to this branch.
What do you dislike about the product?
The adoption of the user towards this communication management system can sometimes be a challenge, which means that it is not customizable in the large proportion of this software, that is, it does not adapt to the needs of the registered customer. This platform, being a problem of intermediate magnitude, thus highlighting that its customer service program is not very sophisticated that we describe, as it has flaws that do not allow customer satisfaction for better performance when using Gong.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In complex terms in our company, we can highlight that we use Gong in most of the departments belonging to the organization, mainly due to the powerful functions it contains to listen to calls and determine conversation leads in an effective way, perfecting the communication skills of our team in amazing ways, including this software onboarding new sales reps to ensure a large revenue stream.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Gong has multiple favorable aspects that help in a successful way, being highly recommended fundamentally for organizations that are based on sales and services, whose source of income is through telephones or web conferences, underlining that its basic functionalities of Records of calls and meetings are powerful, facilitating this branch of business work in complex amounts, including that it is very suitable when referring to marketing.

What do you like best about the product?
I really like this tool, it is so nice to not have to take notes on sales calls and be focused on tone and other nonverbal cues. Also as I bring in more people to my sales deals, you can send them the gongs to get familiar with the key players. It is also great to use it to pass on questions asked to other departments.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it is hard to get to the next person talking as it picks up background noise.

It is so helpful to re-listen to sales calls to make sure you have clarity.

What do you like best about the product?
Having a library of calls for yourself and your team is a great training and sales tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
Ultimately, it's up to the customer on whether they want the call recorded. Obviously, this is necessary, but can sometimes be disappointing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong makes note taking much easier and allows you to be fully involved during the call.

What do you like best about the product?
It's really easy to use and it gives you peace of mind that all the information will be captured on customer calls. You can then go back and review at any time and use the call script feature to gather any requirements you might have missed on the call. It also works great for training purposes as it captures anything you share on your screen as well and can share it with colleagues or customers to reference. It's one of the best tools I've used in my career hands down!!
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some small tweaks I would like. For example, having a more accurate script function and being able to share multiple snippets of a call at once.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My team is using Gong to record all our customer calls and be able to capture the conversation to reference at a future date. Easy to use as it integrates with Zoom for example, and the call recording is ready to review just minutes after it's been completed.

Powerful tool for breaking down calls.

What do you like best about the product?
The best part in my opinion is how I can easily run a report searching for word or phrase. Gong pulls all the calls from the search with those words in an instant. In the past it would have taken countless hours going back through recordings and listening to them manually.
What do you dislike about the product?
Having Gong log into GoToMeeting as another participant has caused some awkward explanations. Same problem with Zoom. It would be great if Gong could work out a better solution with main Webinar companies.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The benefits of Gong are huge. Being able to search a weeks worth of calls for the entire team in 10 seconds versus the Entire Weekend is huge. This capability has made the lives of our sales managers better. It has also helped the reps themselves because it is insurance in case they don't take detailed notes.
