Helpful sales tool!
What do you like best about the product?
It has helped me grow in my sales career tremendously by being able to look back at calls and critique myself and my peers.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is so much to customize and search by, it can be a bit overwhelming but I'd prefer to have the options than to not.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have learned what weak language I use often and it has helped me to monitor and reduce.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is a great tool to grow from listening back to calls. You can hear your commonly used language and learn what does and does not sound god.
Not sure how I survived without Gong for so long
What do you like best about the product?
I use Gong for almost every customer call I have which is super helpful for not only myself but to also share with my clients. On days/weeks that my calendar is packed, sometimes it's hard to remember everything that was discussed or if I missed important notes and by using gong I can go back and relisten to the call to make sure I captured everything accurately. I also share calls with my SE's and customer success team for when they are going through deployment they can hear previous conversations / expectations that were set with the client to make sure we are providing them the best possible experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish I could search by participant name in the search bar instead of having to search by company name. I have a lot of calls across different groups with the same customer so sometimes I have to shuffle through a lot of calls to find the one I'm looking to listen to. The transcript isn't as accurate which would be nice so I don't have to listen to the call all the way through and could do a CTRL+F to find the topic I am looking for but it's not always transcribed accurately.

Gong - Sales Development Representative
What do you like best about the product?
I love how Gong helps not only with aiding us as Sales Development Representatives in trainings, but also in accountability.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, I don't dislike anything really. The user mainframe could be a little more navigable but besides that, overall great product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our CRM had some glitches, and as a result, my effort with one specific potential customer was lost. Another Salesman stumbled onto the already hot opportunity fit, and as a result got them closed in record time, however my information was no where to be found. Gong had recorded my original calls to the office, and as a result, I was granted to revenue because of Gong's recording capability.
Great analysis tools
What do you like best about the product?
I love how you can search for keywords that were said in different calls. It allows me to create reports and analyze what types of conversations we are having on an organizational level.
What do you dislike about the product?
The lag from the call being completed to call being transcribed and analyzed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When conversations come up about features that customers are requesting, I am able to search for the conversations that that feature is brought up in. It allows me to come to the table with data as to how this impacts our customers.

What do you like best about the product?
I love that you can comment on other's recordings. It is super useful that I can send a call to someone on our sales development team and they can directly give me feedback there and "grade" the call. It is also useful to see the percentage of time that I speak - good to reflect on that after the call is over and see how I can improve next time.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that I get an email every time a call has been uploaded to Gong. If I want to look for that call I can just search it within Gong. Getting an email clutters my inbox and seems unnecessary. I don't think the recommendations that Gong makes are super helpful either because everyone in sales kind of has a different mindset and tactics that work best for them. So it's hard to give generalized advice when everyone has their own style.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As said above, this has been extremely helpful while working remote because we aren't able to hear each other on the phone every day like we used to when we were in the office.
Gong is a great tool for companies who want to stay close to their customers!
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to pick out keywords and find trends in sales demos.
What do you dislike about the product?
It could be more user friendly in creating filters and finding specific calls.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our entire company is closer to our customers because we use Gong. People in our Product department are able to access trends simply because of demos our sales team is hosting, which happens daily.

Having access to my colleagues' calls is very helpful from a learning perspective.

The library can be quite vast-- the system requires segmentation to be leveraged best.

Access to talk tracks, the ability to revisit customer calls when crafting follow up.
Helpful for the BDR role
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to hear the call and be able to locate opportunities for improvement with the conversations I am having with Prospects. I like that I can see different places where I might not have considered areas of concern, for example: How much I might be talking over a prospect, or how many times I've said something. I also like that I can get information about specifics they may have mentioned for example how many times they asked about or referred to pricing.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the calls were available sooner to listen to, so if I've missed information during the call I could immediately get it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
By using Gong, I've been able to spend time reflecting and analyzing my own calls, without having to wait for direct coaching from my manager.
It's been extremely helpful to have my Gong calls reviewed.
What do you like best about the product?
I love that my coworkers can review my calls and give me feedback so I can improve each day. I also love the call manuscript, making it easy to find parts of the call.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes Gong will mess up the name of the prospect in the title, and it'll be with a different prospect. So I always have to double-check to make sure it's with the right person.

Improving my calls.
A Game Changer for Tech Sales Men and Women
What do you like best about the product?
I like how the technology allows me to extract all of the pertinent pieces of my client calls by not only recording the entire call for me but also by highlighting certain topics that were covered on the call. Gong allows me to stay more focused on what my clients are saying by freeing me from constantly having to jot down notes and to prove that I listened to everything my client said by helping me write thorough follow up emails.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is not much that I dislike about the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong solves the problem of having to stop paying attention to what my clients are saying in order to jot down notes. I have gained many benefits from Gong but key among them are better follow up emails and more engaging cusotmer conversations.
