Great experience with Gong so far!
What do you like best about the product?
I really like that you can speed up the calls and provide feedback on any given snippet.
The share internally vs. share externally feature is really great as well. Also, the categorization of the call is typically very accurate and helps me to remember what I discussed with clients!

What do you dislike about the product?
I dont like how on the "Home" page, there isnt a default search filter that pops up on the lefthand side bar where I can search by client etc. Therefore, I typically search for my calls in the company wide library under "Calls"
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
So many! Sharing call with clients so they remember our previous interactions, QA with my team to review calls and provide feedback, listening to other team members call that are categorized by Gong, and more.
Amazing Tool For Deep Insights
What do you like best about the product?
Keyword search provides amazing insights into the conversations. It allows us to quickly search for specific sections of the conversations saving loads of time when trying to pinpoint specific answers. For example, when we are looking for answers regarding timelines, this is the best way to get there quickly to ensure that we have all the correct information. I find this particularly valuable as a result of the speed in which I can get these tasks accomplished. Additionally, I really like the fact that the speed bar was upgraded recently. This allows me to save additional time when I am trying to absorb the entire conversation.
What do you dislike about the product?
The search functionality could be more comprehensive. I have had difficulty finding exactly what I am looking for in a timely manor. It would be nice for suggestions to populate, perhaps or more intelligence surrounding this type of feature. I am not sure what the exact answer here is, however most everything else that is offered really does save me quite a bit of time and therefore I feel that this is one of the only areas for improvement. The UX and UI are wonderful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Deeper insights and improving quality of conversations. Our aim is to get more and more intelligent when it comes to our sales process. I find that having a library of conversations enables me to significantly level up when it comes to my own abilities on calls.

I'd say try it, you won't be dissapointed.

Being able to jump between the key words on call is amazing. I can target the specific things I want to listen to.
What do you dislike about the product?
While not an easy problem to solve, if you have a free flowing conversation, the software can struggle with keeping on track of the keywords. This is not a huge issue, but it is something I dislike :)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is brilliant for anyone in the organization to be able to listen to calls - as sometimes I wanted to listen to a sales call, but can pick up on other details, relevant for another project.

Great Analytics Tool
What do you like best about the product?
being able to quickly review old conversations, and clarify what customers are saying in meetings

sometimes the transcript of text is a little inaccurate

new sales rep ramp up time has decreased. It also allows for multiple perspectives and opinions when reviewing calls/deals. Great help with forecasting.

Gong allows me as a Salesperson to active listen the entire call as I know gong is transcribing the call for me.

Banging the Gong for Gong
What do you like best about the product?
Gong's a killer product I've been using for over a year now. Overall, it's full featured, but if i had to really pick one thing it does extremely well (over another call analytics app i've also used in the past) it's the quality of the transcript. It's not flawless, but it's pretty close! I also pay close attention to recommendations, such as talk-listen ratio and patience, which has helped me to make impactful improvements.
What do you dislike about the product?
Right now, a lot of features are disabled like auto-join zoom meeting because I'm one of the only reps outside our SDR team who has an active license. So it's not really a negative about Gong, it's just I have to manually add Gong to my calls which can be a bit tedious.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I don't think of Gong as just a sales enablement/call intelligence tool, but also a Customer Experience solution. Being able to go back and listen to the conversations I've had with prospective buyers informs how I follow up, how i weave in information they've given me to personalize their experience evaluating the software my company offers.

The simplicty to use the software. the auto record feature, the emails message to all the participants once the call is ended. Very easy to use software

It listens to every conversation I have with prospects, records, analice and creates valuable actionable insights

Not tropicalized to my region needs, I work in Latam and the conversations are different

Always record and keep all my conversations, it is a great place to go to gather more insights for my pitches

Give it a try, you have all the metrics you need to control your reps without them noticing it
Gong makes everything so much easier!

It's so helpful being able to record my conversations and watch them back AND have the transcript.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the transcript doesn't translate correctly, but it can be hard to hear and it seems to do the best it can :)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I try to take notes during customer calls but sometimes that's hard. It allows me to go back and listen to the call to remember things and share the call with my manager/peers for feedback.
