Helping my Performance Draggers with Actionable Insights
What do you like best about the product?
Library & Snippets helped me in enabling sharing of knowledge// Relating the trackers with my current data-driven KPIs to identify key learnings

Ability to raise tickets for tracker creation
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My performance draggers are now upskilled using calls of my top gainers and I am able to do comparative coaching to upskill and get more revenue.

Actionable Insights provided by Gong will reflect in the results immediately.

in a tech space as a new employee, gong has been incredible for shortening the learning curve.

I can listen to calls when it works for me - I can listen mulitiple times - it gives me "real life" examples

Search terms really aren't applicable to calls

Training, hearing different methods/personaliites sell that aren't necessarily on my team
Easily the most necessary sales tool besides a CRM

I love the analytics. Talk/listen ratio, paitence etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
The plug-in to the calendar can be a bit hit-or-miss, sometimes clinging to calendar blocks that are not actual meetings, for example reminders to "take a walk"

It's helping me better understand common gaps in my sales conversations regarding my style, or bad habits. I'm able to identify these and make changes instantly

Keeps track of my most valuable client conversations.

Transcripts do not capture the exact spoken words from time to time.

GONG helped me capture details within the call that has a big impact on my potential sale.

I highly recommend new users to utilize the meeting recording features of GONG as it greatly helps retain much-needed info/details on your line of work/business.
Streamlined Call Management Solution
What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy to use Gong is right out of the box. The integrations with Gainsight and Slack are also very useful to the way the company I work for operates.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far I have not had a bad experience. There are times when I have forgotten to add the assistant to a call, but my company admin was able to upload the recorded file.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong is allowing me to keep better track of my calls in one location. Additionally, I can share something such as a training or onboarding call with a client for them to continue to use in the future.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Consider Gong if you frequently use video or standard calls to communicate with clients or users.
Fantastic software! Great for review conversations and helping the sales process!

The transcripts and how easy it is to snip a call and sent it out to clients.

Note taker sometimes jumps in randomly on teams calls.

What do you like best about the product?
Love the ability to go back and listen to my recordings and share calls with customers. Also the stats (Talk ratio, interactivy) behind the call help improve how I run my calls.

Cant think of any downsides. They only thing i come across is the transcript sometimes are inaccurate, mainly find this is when i was unable to understand what the client said.

Gong allows me to go back and pick up on pieces of information I may have missed during the conversation. Also give me the ability to self coach ie what i should of asked, and where I can make changes to my talk track.

It's super helpful for new sales candidates to onboard. By watching experienced salespeople take calls, a lot of product, style and sales learning can happen at speed.
Instead of focusing on note-taking, we can listen to prospects with attention and can watch the recordings later.
Managers can watch recordings and provide valuable feedback. The speed at which they can watch, skip etc helps a lot.
English script that gong generates helps to guess what someone said in case of a voice break or bad connection.
Helps people who didn't attend the previous call but joined the next meeting to be more prepared. Also learnings are not lost in translation.

To listen-in live, It is hard to find team members' meetings. On google cal, you can see them but gong makes it very difficult to find them on gong.
Filter tags can be better. Filtering by stage of opportunity is confusing with text/word search.

Way better Onboarding for new sales candidates. Way better way to communicate learnings with team members. Way better way to take notes, make comments. Way better way for managers to listen in and give feedback.

Def worth investing in Gong if you're training sales, onboarding and for cross-team collab.
