Works great, lots of awesome features
What do you like best about the product?
I like that you can search through calls for certain phrases, or key words. It makes it easier to find specific calls to listen to for training.
What do you dislike about the product?
That some calls don't seem to be recorded (or else they are hard to find). Some days it only shows that I've made 4 calls when I've made 40.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to listen to and analyze past calls for training purposes

What do you like best about the product?
I like that Gong not only tracks every call when prompted, but you also have the ability to go back and listen to calls for 'specific action items.' Whether it be items you said you'd deliver to the prospect or mentions of competitors, Gong is able to pick up on each of these making it more effective of sales coaching.
What do you dislike about the product?
I may be an outlier here, but I sometimes have found that the design can be a bit clunky. For an example, I was looking around to find a specific call the other day and I was having a lot of trouble doing so. Apparently I had not chosen the correct filters properly - I had to get help from two coworkers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
More effective sales coaching and training for reps and myself. Picking up on key moments I may have missed or even action items I may have missed, Gong is able to track them all. This is useful and beneficial when wanting to follow up with a specific prospect or even deep-dive into a management meeting to discuss a certain call.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I did have a few hang-ups on the design earlier, but I am not as well versed in Gong as a lot of my coworkers may be. I would imagine that with more usage I'll have a better understanding of the product. For many SDR's and AE's in my field, Gong has continued to be very useful. I'm excited to explore it and play around with it some more.
Great for Call Recording and Coaching
What do you like best about the product?
Gong automatically records our calls so we can listen to them later. This allows us the ability to listen to our calls to ensure we remember what was discussed and can follow up properly.
-Managers/sales trainers can listen to their reps calls for coaching.
-The mobile app allows everyone to listen to calls on the go.
-You can speed up the video (2x) to listen to it faster.
-Insights help to show what the best reps speak about (vs. under performing) for coaching purposes.
-Other stats are provided such as talk time, longest story, and patience by rep and industry average.
-The software automatically announces that the call is being recorded so reps dont have to (big legal issue if not announced).
-Can create a library of the best (or worst) calls for training purposes.

-The insights are great but you definitely need to procure them to ensure the topics and subject is in line with your business.
-It records calls as long as one person on the call has Gong enabled. This can be good unless you dont want the call recorded so be careful if there are meetings that you dont want recorded set up by someone else.

Ability to automatically record calls so reps can re-listen to older calls, managers can help coach, and insights can be drawn by their AI.
Great for newbies and sells vets alike!
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use and flow of the site. The app...the synchronization of other team member calls.
What do you dislike about the product?
The purple color and playful ugly fake science graphics and pictures, it looks like a mess. It makes the power of what you are look playful and low budget.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to set-up and easy to use. I love the Salesforce integration and search abilities. This tool provides great insights into our sales process.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some occasional hiccups with recording, but these seem to mainly be due to webinar software. Transcriptions can be a bit off, but the ML is getting better and better at identifying key words and topics.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using Gong to standardize our sales team's messaging and to help identify why top producers are succeeding. Using Gong to analyze our calls is like a professional athlete reviews game tape. We are using Gong to identify strengths and weaknesses in an effort to hone our craft.

What do you like best about the product?
Great for understanding where you fell short on the call as a salesperson. The categorization of stages within the timeline are also extremely helpful, and searching for what you said, when you said it when you weren't able to capture notes at specific instances.
What do you dislike about the product?
UI could look a little cleaner/more modern, but that's not a huge deal for me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to understand and analyze the performance of sales calls for both myself and my sales team.

What do you like best about the product?
There are so many things but I think one of the best features is that the search feature will take you to whatever part of a conversation you want to listen to.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that all of my calls aren't recorded. Obviously it isn't on Gong as there are laws and place and Gong doesn't actually do the recording on the calls, but I wish I could potentially look back at all of my calls.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Everyone takes notes, some better than others, but I like that if I miss something I can always pop on Gong and try to pick up what I missed during the live conversation.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Pay attention to the emails that you get. There are always best practices for calls which are very beneficial.
Gong should be a must-have rather than a nice-to-have.
What do you like best about the product?
I've used several call recording applications and nothing compares to Gong. Gone allows me to record my calls, review them, share with clients and above all... go back and analyze my calls to find mentions of a word or identify a points of clarification.
What do you dislike about the product?
The library for personal versus company-wide calls is a bit hard to navigate, same for search. I'm finding myself search for calls but searching in calls etc. Really a solid tool though so it's a minor issue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sales coaching. Analyze my talk tracks, analyze and dissect my call-to-listen ratio. Share calls with colleagues and leadership to provide and gain coaching opportunities.

Great tool, very user friendly and while it's robust, it's also not overly complicated.

What do you like best about the product?
I've used several different voice recording software solutions and gong has been the most user-friendly and accurate for me. I really like that I don't have to take notes during calls and can go back and read the transcripts. I also like that it give you analytics like talk time, pauses and filler words.
What do you dislike about the product?
Althought it's better than others, I think the transcription can sometimes be pretty inaccurate. I will go back and read the transcripts and it attributes the words to the wrong person or the words are just completely inaccurate.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Call coaching and understanding how I can communicate more effectively on calls.
