User intuitive good tool
What do you like best about the product?
I really like the breakdowns in talk times and filtering based on conversation. Allows you to efficiently get to the parts of the conversations you are looking for.
What do you dislike about the product?
A ton of emails that were a bit annoying to opt out of.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Learning different talk tracks, analyzing what works and what doesn't.
Gong has been an excellent sales tool
What do you like best about the product?
Gong gives sales teams the ability to review calls at ease. Being able to quickly go back on meetings has been extremely useful.
What do you dislike about the product?
The recorder is sometimes present in Zoom and the prospects will ask why.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
reviewing calls with prospects and being able to listen with others on what went well/wrong.

Very easy to use. Great for call recording and feedback

Transcription isn't always accurate, can be difficult to search through call transcripts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Call couching for myself and reps on my team. Interface makes it clear if i'm asking enough questions, talking too much or too little etc.

Being able to search for specific words in a call. Each teammember can zero in on hte calltopics that matter most to them

Not all our calls make it into gong... not sure the reason if its setup on our end or sometimes there is a long lag but wouldbe better to have everything in there
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In finance we listen to each call that has a discount given and we work with sales and the reps to lower discounting and focus more on product value. Product is also listening to feedback and adjusting roadmap appropriately

The great part about Going is that you will never lose important details discussed during calls even if you didn't take notes.
What do you dislike about the product?
There was no any notable downside, I guess the integration could be better, looks like sometimes there is an issue recording when you join the call late.

Gong helps keeping track of your calls so that you can always go back and find important information from the call.

I really like the ability to search words within the software and have percentages of talk time.
What do you dislike about the product?
It sometimes takes a while for the call to upload to gong but nothing to crazy.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am solving the problem of how to speak to customers and what questions get them talking more. I have realized that being able to streamline calls leads to higher productivity and better learning.

Gong is easy to use and reliable, and includes some helpful analytics as well.

Honestly, I don't dislike anything about Gong.

Gong helps objectively inform learning and continuous improvement, which are very helpful for long-term success!
Love the ability for Gong to record and analyze my reps calls!

The analysis portion that enables you to search for key words or topics covered in the conversations.
What do you dislike about the product?
Gong occasionally will disconnect from web-conferencing applications. Not sure if that's on the Gong end, or a result of the web-conferencing application pushing updates. The result, however, is that reps have to reinstall the plug-in. This happened once or twice in 12 months of using Gong - so very minor.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Two main business problems. 1. Recording and storing recorded calls for new hires to be able to have a repertoire of recorded calls 2. Ability to listen to calls on my own time and identify coaching opportunities for my reps.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure that Gong integrates with your softwares. This is a startup and they are still building integration capabilities.

What do you dislike about the product?
This is not a fault of the software, but I do not like having to ask permission upfront for the OK to record. That's just a legal thing though.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong allows us to ID the best calls for training purposes. It also makes note-taking much more accurate -- instead of "remembering" what a prospect said, a process that can be wrought with bias, we can refer back to the prospects own words. I am also listening to myself critically to understand where I can improve my approach.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
You may get some pushback from your team; listening to yourself can be a painful process. But ultimately, it's worth it.

Really not that much. I guess the AI could be better, but it's already really good
