What do you like best about the product?
Especially for new team members, you can get a great sense of your company's talk-track and understand your value proposition. Listening to your team's calls gives you a better sense of what your prospects are saying so you can better prepare for your next call.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is still a few things that need to be built out - overall, not much to dislike. The transcription isn't always accurate, but I don't feel that's where the true value lies, anyway.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it to better our service offering to our customers, based on real-time feedback from our customers and prospects alike. Also, you don't have to take notes on calls and you can focus on really listening and being present with the prospect having the peace of mind that the call will be there for review afterwards.

What do you like best about the product?
Transcripts are great, topic recognition, reviewing notes without even taking them
What do you dislike about the product?
Notification emails should not be sent before a call to a prospect. Because if I cancel the calendar invitation and this gong email arrives anyway it causes uncomfortable explaining and apologies.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Training in group sessions preparing a gong call is great and we analyze if we follow or how to improve our sales process.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Get the more senior sales people to organize training sessions based on calls.

What do you like best about the product?
I love that I can use Gong to re-listen to my calls. Understand what went well and what didn't. I can focus on my calls when I am on the call instead of stressing about taking notes. I can always re-listen to my calls

Honestly, the only negative I have is that if someone else starts the meeting (if I created it) the call does not record. It's an issue if we are all in one room and my computer isn't the one that is being used as the main

I am able to save time on calls taking notes
I love that I can just shoot a message through Gong to my manager and get feedback on a specific part of the call or on the whole call. It really allows me to get real honest feedback. Instead of me relaying messages all the time, he can listen to it himself.

What do you like best about the product?
I enjoyed that you were able to see demos done live and not feel like you are intruding. Really was helpful to see how an account sales rep presents a products and then caters it to the customer.
What do you dislike about the product?
I honestly didn't use product enough to see any flaws with the software.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to perform product/service demos to potential clients, allowing a video 1 on 1 with them and allowing them to share there difficulties so you can try to find a fit. Also being able to monitor and be back seat in analyzing performance for sales reps.

Great product to use for analytical purposes

What do you like best about the product?
I liked the concept of the product. Being able to fully use a natural language processing and machine learning to help train and suggest information to sales people and other customer service reps is a nifty - especially with it being able to transcribe in real time.
What do you dislike about the product?
To be honest, not a whole lot. A lot of the issues I have had (transcribing related) have often been fixed with product refreshes and updates. Sometimes getting it set-up when calling a prospect can be a bit cumbersome as well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We like to use it for analyzing sales calls and ensuring that all employees are closing deals with ethics and also using the right language on calls. Moreover, it can be used for coaching as well.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Definitely worth a shot if you're looking to improve from areas of customer service and sales. As a start up business, I like supporting them because I think that all in all they're headed in the right direction as a company. If you are having a problem with one of the features, I would recommend doing a data or a product refresh or even an update, because I have noticed that this fixed many of the concerns that I had.

What do you like best about the product?
I think as a org, it would be nearly impossible to have your boss take time to be on every call. But with Gong, reps and managers can go over certain calls and get feedback to be a better rep.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only real downside is that Gong will disconnect from our calendar and some calls won't log.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Training of reps/better feedback. It has made our 1-1's a lot more productive, and team members can learn more from each other.

We have a record of every conversation saved directly into our CRM

It didn't record the first 5 minutes of my call one time
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
TRAINING, win/loss analysis, scheduling every stakeholder on a call (they can just listen to the gong recording when it works for them)

Easily access phone calls and presentations. Fantastic training tool.

When joining/listening to a live call, I wish the screen wasn't so small. It's hard to see what's being shown.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Reviewing calls/presentations for training purposes.

What do you like best about the product?
I can watch back recordings on demand and quickly skip to topics I care about quickly which saves me a lot of time from having to scrub through the whole recording. I'm also able to take notes, tag other colleagues and point them to certain parts of the recording to support learning and feedback processes!
What do you dislike about the product?

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to quickly see patterns of what successful sales executives are doing and sharing those with the wider team. E.g. We can quickly analyse the talk ratios between sales:prospect and topics which are discussed.

What do you like best about the product?
Gong has increased the volume and quality of our call review process. By providing the team with a tool that promotes more self and peer review, we've seen the volume of reviews increase by more than 10x. By helping us build a better library of best in class examples, we have also helped the team really get better by always having those examples they can listen to.
What do you dislike about the product?
The platform is a bit messy. We have more than one group using the tool and unfortunately we can't separate the instances for a clean view from one group to the next.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Close rate has increased by more than 4%. New reps are onboarding and getting up to target faster. Development has become fun and a priority which we believe will help with retention.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The AI feature in Gong is really valuable. We're just starting to get the data and recommendations and they're incredible.
