Recorded Calls are the best tool for onboarding!
What do you like best about the product?
Joining a new company while working fully remote can be challenging. However, Gong has helped me to onboard exceptionally with recorded calls. With them, I could learn much faster how to pitch the product, understand the main objections and how to overcome them before even going to the field.
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel annoyed by the follow-up notifications that GONG recommends to me. Most of the times they make no sense and I end up not using the tool for other purposes but listening to calls. B
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Learning faster how to pitch my product is definitely the best asset. I can also come back to previous calls from deals I haven't led from the beginning, so I could be updated about everything that happened with them so far.

What do you like best about the product?
The UI on gong is amazing! I've never used a call recording platform as intuitive. I think I like the follow-up email reminders most seeing that is usually my biggest area of struggle.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was a better integration to leverage with Outlook. While I personally hate Outlook, it would be great to be able to pull a recording from a side pane to quickly review clips to make navigating Outlook a little better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest problem that I am solving is being able to effectively followup with my clients. I am able to quickly toggle between different moments of calls by simply searching keywords. I also really love the use of NLP in the UI! Surely ahead of the game there!
Skeptical before trying, absolutely love it after using it
What do you like best about the product?
Gong is incredibly helpful for internal/external calls. Having them be recorded and able to access to review the conversation, and not needing to take notes throughout the call saves me time. I also love that it emails you a transcript and action items to take care of. I love it.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I dislike is that it does not auto add to my calendar for customer calls. It would be helpful if the assistant@gong.io would automatically be put on the calendar invite.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong has helped eliminate my need for taking notes during the call. This helps me be a more active listener in my customer calls. I am able to go back and listen to the call as many times as I need so that I know exactly what the context is.

I love how everything is divided so you can understand how each person expresses themselves and how they interact with each other.

Nothing at the moment. Everything works reallyw ell.

What do you like best about the product?
Gong is great for automatically capturing your meeting, including transcription, key sections etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
The transcription isn't 100% perfect but that's to be expected when considering all the different accents you may encounter in your day-to-day life
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Not relying to heavily on note-taking during a meeting allows you to be more present and focused during the discussion, and of course, being able to dissect post-meeting is very helpful for continuous improvement
The best tool for new employees
What do you like best about the product?
Gong works for me on my time. I can go back and watch what I want when I need to. The recorder is there whenever I need it to be. Since coming on at the company, I have been able to learn quite a bit about how to conduct my calls.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like Gong to play nice with my calendar app so it can automatically be added to the meetings set up by my clients. (This could definitely be on my calendar companies side).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
New employees don't have a script and are looking to see how to navigate the sales call. I can go watch other people that have been in my position and see where they struggled and improved, all the way up to my supervisor absolutely rocking a call. Both have great takeaways.

Easy to navigate, intuitive automation.
What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy it is to find my own calls or colleague's calls in Gong. I can also search by customer name or business name. Gong also automatically labels things such as pricing topics, questions, and splits the talk time between the client and the rep. This makes it super easy to scrub calls and make sure that I'm paying attention to the parts that are important to me at the time.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't really have any dislikes except that calls have to be a certain length before gong starts recording, but I think that may be an administrator setting and not a downfall of Gong itself.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am realizing that I spend too much time on the little things in my calls and not being efficient with my time on the line with clients. Gong helped me realize that by the automatic labeling of certain topics and talk time splits.
Great interface, intuitive platform, really useful
What do you like best about the product?
I like the intuitive usability of Gong; I didn't need to spend a long time figuring out how to use it. I appreciate the service it provides as it significantly adds value even at my non-sales role at my company
What do you dislike about the product?
While the transcript feature is valuable for quickly reading what was said in videos, it is not that accurate so it can be confusing and should not be taken as what was actually said - you need to listen and read and contextualize it all together. Hope Gong improves this
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have a non-sales role at my company but I interact with the sales team. I use Gong to fill in the gaps in communication/memory between our departments so that I can understand 100% what was discussed and what points in the meeting need to be focused on more from my perspective. Great tool for this as I can view a meeting (the facts) from a different vantage point than a salesman and contextualize it in a way that adds value to me.
