Gong makes life easier
What do you like best about the product?
This is great tool for both reviewing meetings, and coaching opportunities.
Schedules don't always permit you to attend a meeting but Gong allows you to review a meeting when you are available.

What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate the way that Gong breaks the call down in a visual context. The ability to see the actual flow of the conversation broken down by time and participant has been very revealing thus far.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far I don't have any major issues with the interface or functionality.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have been trying to indicate patters within the buying cycle for our customer base. So far using the keyword tool has provided valuable insight on a call to close basis.
The ability to share clean version of the call directly with customers has been fantastic as well. We didn't realize how well received the option would be.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are already using a call tool do yourself a favor and compare that current interface with Gong. I believe you will be pleasantly surprised.
Great for employee development and reviewing calls
What do you like best about the product?
I like that our SDRs can learn from AE's calls. Also, when I have not taken thorough enough notes I can easily go back to my Gong recording and go over what everyone said. It is also great that it connects with SFDC and can breakout specific words.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much to dislike about the platform. Pretty straightforward.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Great way for our SDRs to listen in on AE's calls at their time. Also, having management review calls to make sure the entire team is on the same page.

What do you like best about the product?
I love how Gong is useful in multiple ways. It works as a record of conversations with customers, allows management to coach their employees, and allows employees to learn from their coworkers through listening to different types of calls.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing comes to mind that I dislike about Gong, honestly. It's a solid product that will immediately bring value.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
No one is able to listen to their entire team's calls, even if they wanted to. Gong improves conversations teams have with their customers and prospects, and makes the entire team stronger and more collaborative.

During some calls the bot doesn't log in. Hasn't been an issue most recently

Great tool for self reflection and being able to revisit discovery calls that happened weeks in the past

I love how easy this is to dissect certain aspects of calls by category. It's really easy to go find where you're talking pricing, competitors, etc

Sometimes the NLP is a little wonky. It doesn't always get the conversation exactly right, which can be a little frustrating when you try to search for particular words.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Self-improvement. Making it easy to get self-feedback and managerial feedback on certain components of the sales cycle

If feedback is important and you have time for it, this is a great product.

doesn't always recognize our calls when they are recorded because of gotomeeting issue

What do you like best about the product?
The customer service from Gong has been amazing - they've readily integrated requests and offered ways we can optimize our usage of the tool. It's great to be using a tool that's outputted from a lean team like Gong.
What do you dislike about the product?
Once in awhile my videos won't upload synch properaly - in addition, it would be great if Gong could synch with Amity.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smarter talks with my customers - in addition, it's fuelled transparency across our organization. As I'm able to better to see the discussions my clients had with the sales team before the hand-off to Success occured.
Really helpful... with some Google calendar integration challenges
What do you like best about the product?
Gong is AWESOME for helping you to go over calls with your manager, and being able to make sure you catch all of the details in your calls with prospects.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Google calendar integration seemed to be particularly difficult. I only use Go-To-Meeting via the Google Calendar application and for whatever reason, it took my manager a couple of conversations with the CSM to make sure it worked. Occasionally it still will not record my calls.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong helps to ensure that our team can standardize our conversations with prospects as much as possible. This helps to drive value for folks evaluating our software and allows us to best scale our approach as a team.
