What do you like best about the product?
Our AE, CSM & supporting contacts were incredibly helpful throughout the process!
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing!! Like, literally nothing. Props to John Richards especially!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are incorporating customer voice into our funnel, developing GTM strategies, training sales & customer success teams!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Identify your company-level vision, strategy, and goals before purchasing Gong. The AE / CS contacts are great about developing them and building out an instance to achieve desired results, but having a foundation is incredibly helpful.

What do you like best about the product?
There is value for everyone. Reps have better conversations by being able to focus on the prospect/customer and LISTEN, refer back to the conversation for better follow up, and identify open questions, opportunities for improvement, product requests, etc. that can easily be shared for input, feedback, etc. Managers get better deal insights and coaching opportunities. Execs get better visibility and better insights across the team. Cross-functional teams get better customer feedback and input on what's working not working. The list goes on.
And you can get a lot of value out of the tool without putting a ton of work into actively managing / adminstering it. Although you get a ton more value if you do put in that work.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's all one big product. We don't use everything, and it does feel like we are paying for a lot of functionality that we're not using yet.
There's almost too much you can do with Trackers, and it can be challenging figuring out where to start. It can be challenging to figure out what to track and then build trackers that effectively track it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The way we engage with customers pre and post sales is one of our biggest differentiators. Gong helps us do that by allowing reps to truly listen to our customers to uncover problems and objectives and ultimately put solutions in place that address what exactly they need. And then transfer information internally to help ensure we are delivering on what's been committed.

easy access to every single sales call - this has been immensely helpful in identifying common consumer pain points as we have looked to update our messaging based on target personas

What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate being able to send call links to colleagues and the level of accuracy in the transcripts.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'd like to explore integrations more. It would be interesting to compare and contrast syncing Gong to Outreach rather than using Kaia.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm able to track past deals effectively and have a trusted source of notes to go off for prospecting, especially with reconnects.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Take a look at their university, it's very comprehensive!

What do you like best about the product?
When I was an SDR, Gong allowed me to listen to other of my peers calls to see what they are doing to get more meetings.

When I got into Marketing, it allows me to listen to what are some things our customers are saying and I would use that to create a campaign.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't think of anything that I dislike about Gong yet.

Everything is working properly for me right now.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong allows me to understand what are some of my customers and prospects are saying, I really like the transcript part.

It's also mobile friendly.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you're in sales, marketing, or customer success -- I highly recommend Gong!

What do you like best about the product?
Over time we have built a large library of recorded customer calls which can be so useful when completeing a knowledge transfer or creating a strategic plan for an account.
What do you dislike about the product?
More templates and suggested questions that I can ask during a call to fill in a customer profile.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
GONG allows me to be focused and present during the call. It helps me improve my presentation and oratory skills. I appreciate how it reminds of my commitments, follow-up notes and reminders to keep my deals current.

The best coaching tool ever!

What do you like best about the product?
It is the best coaching tool ever, especially in the new world of remote working. It is an excellent way for Reps to listen to themselves and other top performers to get better. And as a manager, it makes the coaching process so much better.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing, it's a little slow sometimes but that's most likely my internet or VPN. It is also a little clunky and some of the features do not apply to my position but that's not Gong's fault.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Greater new hire ramp time as well as it's an awesome tool to get more tenured folks better at their sales positions and a great way for top reps to start mentoring new reps using the tool.

Nothing as of now. Easy system access and good functionality.

Used in accessing recorded meetings which further helps in different internal tools.

What do you like best about the product?
Happy to hear so many sales professionals bring valuable inputs to the platform through their pitches.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing as of now. Maybe I would be happy to see people from my country share their pitches here.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My problem of active listening, cognitive thinking with a lot of patience. I usually rush to answer and that has improved over the time hearing other sales folks.
