Great Tool

What do you like best about the product?
Being able to track interactivity, time spent speaking, filler words and ability to enter notes/ask for feedback.
What do you dislike about the product?
The transcript is not accurate. Some of the words are not transcribed properly and don't make sense.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tracking and improving the quality and consistency of calls held with existing customers. Ensuring that the right topics are addressed during these calls.

What do you like best about the product?
Gong allows you to be in several places at once. Whether helping the team improve their soft skills, listening to important meetings that I couldn't make, or sending on important customer feedback to other departments, Gong has us covered.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some important calls have gone unrecorded due to edge cases that Gong can't cover yet...they'll get there.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Knowledge sharing, coaching, product feedback, etc.

editing functionality of post-calls so i can share only a portion of the call when needed. Better interface to add/remove Gong while on a call
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
the quick summary based on call topics allows me to focus on what matters most and listen to a call in-context. This saves a lot of time for me and allows easy management of topics
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Prepare your team ahead of deployment surface the WIIFM for the end users from gaining full visibility to avoid a suspicious "big-brother" internal attitude. If managed correctly you will get great cooperation and better perforemance

Nothing really. It's a part of our sales toolkit.

Focus on key portions of the call
Make important tweaks to you r sales pitch (ie. tonality, good/bad habits)

Not necessarily a dislike but wish we could arrange calls by opportunity stage in SFDC

Business Problems: Sales Learning Enablement
Benefit: Better calls by understanding a customers needs and how they would use the platform everyday! Especially since we are creating a market from nothing!

A Great Tool For Product Managers

What do you like best about the product?
As Director of Product Management, Gong allows me to quickly and efficiently LISTEN to customers in calls I did not participate in and to hear the customer DIRECTLY instead of through a Sales Engineer or a Sales Person 'translation'. The user interface highlight the sections where the customer is speaking, so that I don't need to scan the entire call manually to get to the important parts
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing I dislike about Gong !!!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is very often a challenge for Product Managers to get the customer's requests and feedback first-hand, and time never allows us to join or listen to all calls. Gong saves me precious time, and at the same time grants me easy access to the relevant parts of important calls.
The ability to also share calls between various stakeholders in the organization if very handy as well.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Just give it a try. Value is proven very quickly

What do you like best about the product?
The fact that I can easily give feedback to our sales team even if I didn't have the time to join the call when it happened. With Gong I can easily analyse sales calls and find out what works and what doesn't.
What do you dislike about the product?
Can come up with anything that I would dislike about Gong. It delivers what it promises.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have managed to identify common questions our prospects tend to ask during qualification calls and adjust our call structure to answer these question before these are even asked.

Speed up sales growth!

What do you like best about the product?
Gong does two things super well. One, it lets reps continuously learn from each other and themselves by archiving all calls (good ones and ugly ones) and making them easy to surface for reviews. Two, it's super helpful for going back and taking notes. You'd be amazed at the listening skills I've acquired in my time using Gong.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish gong would transcribe the audio of the call....
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sales training is hard enough. There's no better training than your peers. Mirroring the good reps and coaching up the underperformers would be a lot harder without Gong.

Great AE Coaching Tool

What do you like best about the product?
I love that when I am on back to back demos, I can review the call later and jot down any relevant pieces of information that I missed the first go around. We also pick one gong call a week to listen to on our sales team and give feedback on questions we should have asked.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes gong used to pick up snippets of other calls so the call you wanted to review might not have the entire recording. However, I know they are working on this!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong is helping me personally continue to improve my skills as an AE. I love that it shows me the percentage of time I am talking vs my prospect.

What do you like best about the product?
My favorite thing about Gong.io is that everything is done automatically. When I begin a demo call, Gong immediately joins without me having to do anything. As an AE team, we all gather once a week to play one rep's call in front of the entire team for constructive criticism. The first time, no one wanted to go. Now we fight to go next. For me personally, I can also go back to any call and re-listen to any key point to find something that I forgot to write down. Gone are the days of having incomplete and spotty notes with vital information missing.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish it had more transcripting. It currently shows you areas where a particular topic is discussed (i.e. pricing) but a complete transcript would be very powerful and make it easier to pinpoint super specific parts of the call.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This is helping our leaders better coach our reps on discovery, demoing, and objection handling. It's also helping leadership ensure our messaging and presentation is consistent across the entire team.
