Gong has been essential in my career development as a sales rep.

The feedback feature on call recordings.

Gong is a game changer!
What do you like best about the product?
While it may seem daunting to have your external customer calls recorded, the pros well outweigh the minor con. Not only has Gong been useful to refer back to customers comments (vs frantically taking notes during a call while trying to actively listen), it's been incredibly helpful for new hire onboarding. They're able to listen to other colleagues calls to ramp quickly and it also allows for real life feedback once they begin taking their own customer meetings.
What do you dislike about the product?
This is super minor but if I had to say one thing, sometimes it does take a while for the call recording to come through (more than an hour plus).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
- ramping new hires more efficiently and quickly
- easily refer back to any call that's been recorded for reference of comments, etc
- ability to easily share snippets back to colleagues for key learnings

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Do it! I wish I would've had this at previous organizations as it's changed the game in how we enable and onboard new hires, refer back to customer conversations, and share key learnings/ideal talk-tracks back with the team!

What do you like best about the product?
Love the transcription, how quickly the recorded calls are up and already transcribed. It's incredible for understanding past conversations with prospects or accounts. Definitely a game-changer for our sales team
What do you dislike about the product?
Some calls do not get recorded and uploaded to Gong - wish that all calls were.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
There can be lack of communication between the SDRs and the AEs - now there is no issue because the communication is all visible for everyone and anyone to view and understand.

The ability of Gong to transcribe, skip speakers and fast forward has made it so much easier to pay attention to the prospect during the call and quickly review and capture notes after
What do you dislike about the product?
Really nothing bad to say on this. the features of Gong are more than helpful and works well with my Zoom meetings and promptly delivers an email when the recording is ready

Best thing about this is capturing the relevant data from each speaker and then going back to make sure that i have all the action items captured from the call. also allows me to follow up in a more intelligent manner as i can listed to the answers of the question and make notes on the responses
LOVE Gong. Would have killed to have this at my other jobs.

How it allows me to look back at a call so that if I forgot one important detail, I can go back and listen to find it.

I cannot think of anything. The tool is incredible.

Remembering important details about the call I made, being able to get coaching from my manager, and listening to successful rep's calls and how they go about them.

Do it. You will NOT regret it.

What do you like best about the product?
Gong is excellent for listening to sales calls and learning from them. The library gives access to many calls and resources.
What do you dislike about the product?
The activity tab isn't much of a use for me.

I am gaining insight into how the sales calls are done, allowing me to better perform my job as a marketer.
It's so helpful on recording the sales person's meeting with clients.

I can't download the data report from Gong, for example, to pull out how many calls my team recorded in a month/week.

It would be nice if it were easier to turn on and off once you start a recording in case there are elements you do not want recorded.

Training deficiencies, analytics associated with presentations, and customer feedback... this is revolutionary in most industries.
Gong keep me organized and on track with my opportuities!
What do you like best about the product?
I can focus on my prospect or client when we meet, rather than on taking notes. I can search for key words, people or accounts and pull information quickly. I love the metrics that are helping me improve... especially "patience," a.k.a. "stop talking over people".
What do you dislike about the product?
The transcription is a little bit off and could use some improvement. That could be unique to me, my accent or my speed of speech.
