Great notetaker for solo calls
What do you like best about the product?
That I don't need to worry about typing or writing notes and can focus on the conversation. I'm often the only person from my team on customer calls so it's great to have Gong take notes for me
What do you dislike about the product?
That the notes/call highlights can't automatically be added to a Salesforce opportunity
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It was difficult to easily share customer feedback and describe their pain points. Gong makes it easy to get the right information to the right teams without worrying about the message getting lost in translation
Very organized, helped me set many more meetings than quota.

Gong helps our sales team understand what’s really happening in customer conversations. Its conversation intelligence reveals key patterns—like what messaging works and common objections—making it easier to coach, refine our strategy, and close deals faster. With insights on talk ratios and customer sentiment, Gong eliminates guesswork, giving us clear data to improve every call. Plus, it syncs with our CRM to keep everything organized and aligned effortlessly.

What do you like best about the product?
My absolute favorite thing about Gong is being able to see how I've progressed towards my number in the month and quarter on the home page (I'm a fan of filling up the bar and seeing the %). Outside of that, I love the call recording feature; I go back and watch almost all of my calls to prep for the next one and I'm able to get up to speed with accounts that have talked to us in the past. Forecasting with MEDDPICC built in is very useful!
What do you dislike about the product?
The AI tool could use some improvement; AI is obviously a work in progress across the board so I think this will just take time. I've also run into the issue where it will tag the wrong person on a call (for ex., I was speaking with a male CEO and it tagged a female marketing contact as the person I was talking with on the recording).

Sales Pipeline Efficiency and Practical AI Notetaking
What do you like best about the product?
During each sales call, whether in person or virtually, I'm sure to have Gong active in the background to take notes so I'm able to focus on my client rather than scribbling notes. The Engage feature of Gong has been vital in creating a sales pipeline with daily "to do's" ensuring I'm consistently following up with prospects. Implementing Gong into my daily routine has been seamless as well with my activity integrating directly with SalesForce.
What do you dislike about the product?
My only advice would be the AI notetaker being slightly more accurate in the transcriptions created. Instead of forwarding these transcriptions to my client directly after the call I often have to check for grammar and spelling errors.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong is helping me improve my time management while prospecting new clients by having my daily activities outlined showing me exactly what action items I have for that day.

What do you like best about the product?
Gong has gradually become one of my go-to tools for learning from customer calls. It’s user-friendly and provides an accurate reflection of each conversation. The summaries are especially helpful, as they provide insights that guide the next steps and highlight what's truly important in discussions with potential customers.
What do you dislike about the product?
Occasionally, Gong has difficulty understanding regional accents, which means the transcripts aren't always 100% accurate. This can make reviewing calls a bit more time-consuming.

Gong is great and the AI feature works well
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Gong gives an overview of how the general sentiment of a call went. It is easy to use and if for any reason we need to take Gong out of a call, it is very easy to do. Integrating this into all our client calls has been a game changer.
What do you dislike about the product?
What would be better is if the AI was better. What I mean by that is sometimes really positive calls can be marked as negative which doesn't really help when trying to search through various calls.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is helping and benefitting us so that we have the calls details and stats infront of us really quickly.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the integration of the call recordings with Gainsight, the notes that are automatically generated and the transcript that is included in each call. Makes it so easy for me to recall the main points in the discussions and to follow up with my customers.
What do you dislike about the product?
The search function isn't exactly top-notch. I don't usually get the results that I am looking for although some are pretty close. It would be good if I can search based on the types of calls eg. cadence, success review, onboarding, etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Updating Gainsight automatically whenever a call with a customer is done. The notes that are automatically generated help me to quickly start on the meeting minutes - this saves me time and effort. And whenever I want to confirm something that has been said in a meeting, having a recording with transcript sure beats having to write the points during the meeting!
