Excellent and easy to use way to record client calls

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use - the "Notetaker" feature will join automatically once you've integrated your Calendar.
Unobtrusive - joins calls on my calendar, even ones I didn't book originally
Platform interface - easy to locate and review past calls
What do you dislike about the product?
Would love to see more call analysis features - for example, chorus.ai provides feedback on how many filler words you use, and your "longest monologue." That would be a really useful tool for giving feedback to employees.
I have worked with a lot of EMEA clients and I get concerned that Notetaker automatically joins calls, even the ones where I didn't use my Gong link to invite. (i.e. GDPR is a concern for me and I have booted notetaker from some EMEA calls for this reason.)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Giving feedback to my team on their calls with clients
Capturing best practices/examples of great calls for training purposes
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Great interface and easy to use.

What do you like best about the product?
From the automatic recording and transcriptions to the ability to search text, listen to your teammates, tag calls and get helpful coaching, Gong is an invaluable tool that anyone client-facing should be able to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Would love a way to name the Gong application instead of it being listed as notetaker in calls
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sales coaching, call reviews, share information and best practices across departments and within teams, information loss when people move on from a company. Ability to quickly highlight talk tracks that work.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is a quick and easy onboarding and will instantly upskill your teams, don't hesitate to use!

What do you like best about the product?
The convenience— Gong has taken something simple and made it the best it could be, not to mention the constant innovation with new features like Assist. Having an automatic record of every conversation you've ever had with a prospect or customer with annotations and highlights can make you feel like a superhuman.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much that I can think of. It does take some initial configuration to get set up correctly with teams configured, record/don't record settings, and automating the organization of thumbnails, but once you have it going it works like a dream.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Improving sales process and performance— competitive intelligence, superhuman memory, enhanced self-coaching/feedback loop.

What do you like best about the product?
Gong is an excellent tool for self-assessment. It helps identify patterns and habits that may have crept in, and this is a perfect tool to coach the team members.

From providing stats that matter to a search tab that help us assess if we covered all bases on a client call - Gong has evolved over time and keeps offering many such insights
What do you dislike about the product?
The transcripts are not as accurate as they should be.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
- Onboarding of new team members.
- Sharing snippets from very good calls that others can learn from
- Coach team members on what is working well and the areas to focus on

What do you like best about the product?
Metrics, Recordings, Collaboration, Using prospect quotes from recordings, snippets.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not applicable! I guess it could do more if it went and tried to take on another market such as Salesloft having scheduled emails and such

How are my salespeople doing? What are the specific areas they are faltering? I have the evidence required for the feedback provided.

What do you like best about the product?
I love the honest feedback I receive and the space to reflect on what I do well vs. what I need to do to improve my client calls. Gong's AI features make this a simple process, providing precise analytics on whether I dominate the conversation or enable my client to share their thoughts. I also love that Gong labels the recording sections to identify what topics are discussed at particular points - this is brilliant during training, so time is not wasted listening to small talk. Instead, you can jump straight to the part of the conversation you want to listen to.
What do you dislike about the product?
AI can't always distinguish a perfect call from a deeply flawed one in the same way a human being can - some of my worst calls have great analytics! This is why I also love that Gong gives space for direct feedback from my Manager and peers, so you get the best of both worlds.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong solves two problems for me:
1) Scalable training - when you have a large number of new hires, most of whom need to be onboarded remotely, being able to learn from their peers is critical. Gong recordings allow new hires or employees looking to improve their client calls a far superior way to navigate and engage with call recordings easily than if they had just been uploaded raw, without Gongs features.
2) Self-reflection - I regularly review Gong's feedback on my calls to see how I can improve my conversations without needing to rely on peers or my manager to give up their time.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
GO FOR IT! I still can't believe something this cool exists. I rave about Gong to my friends all the time. Software that actually analyzes how successful you are at holding a conversation!!! We truly live in the future.

What do you like best about the product?
I love the Gong can intelligently summarize a 45-minute call. As an SDR, I'll often review AE calls which can be super time-consuming. With Gong, I can look back and see when an AE was selling specific products, when I tried to close the call with next steps, etc. Their artificial intelligence is next level.
What do you dislike about the product?
Do I have any dislikes? There's not much to dislike about a tool like this. It's straightforward and helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm solving the problem of spending too much time reviewing AE calls (and reviewing my own calls trying to find pieces of information). It's also helped me how much time we spend talking about each product on average.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Don't just leverage it for AEs, SDRs can use it too!
