Helping me learn new processes
What do you like best about the product?
The easiest way possible to learn new processes, hear what is working for the top reps at my organization and works when I have time to dedicate to digging into others calls and presenetation.
Also the ability to slack across calls to other people is very useful

Honestly, nothing to dislike. I think the email digests after calls is very helpful, there might be a better way to improve the data those contain as reminders?
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Learning new sales pitches, reviewing my own calls and deals, sharing best practices
Recommendations to others considering the product:
There might be other solutions like this that record calls... but Gong is so much more for sales teams and you never want to be wasting reps time with a product just slows them down
Gong - Fantastic for Pre-Sales Learning and Even Better for Customer Research
What do you like best about the product?
Gong is an amazing tool. Our pre-sales team used it for training and learning how to make better calls, ask more informed questions, and how to listen and react when the customer is wanting more information. It is also very helpful to train on what doesn't work, which questions kill the conversation, and when the customer REALLY doesn't have time for your call. On the Sales side of our business, Gong has helped to gain more customer background. It is always nice to HEAR the customer's tone when discussing their problems and challenges. Gong has helped to save customers and to provide information and clarification to problems.
What do you dislike about the product?
Initially it was a little "buggy". Calls wouldn't show up in the recording cue and the text translation was sometimes off. That seems to be fixed, we haven't had any of those issues in over a year.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Training. We are training new employees, and employees that have been at the company for a while. Everyone can learn something from the calls that a previous representative has made. As the saying goes, "You can either make a mistake or learn from someone else's mistake."
Helpful sales call analysis and very user friendly
What do you like best about the product?
I like the speaker breakout percentages and how you are easily able to see who is talking and what point. This makes it very easy to jump to a specific person when going back and reviewing calls. The transcription also makes it very easy to review calls to see what was reviewed. I also like how you are able to track things like notes, Emails, and calls all in one integrated platform. The integration with slack makes it very easy to leave and respond to comments. The integration with Salesforce also makes Salesforce easier to use when you need to pull up a call.
What do you dislike about the product?
If anything maybe the search function but honestly, it's a great platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Gong, our team is able to review demos in a more efficient manner. We are able to analyze what types of questions are being asked and the frequency of them being asked. We are also able to track responses very easily in the platform as well. In terms of standardizing demos and collecting sufficient examples, Gong makes it very easy to refer to calls in a library for future reference whether it be for new hires or other Sales Engineers.
No better note taking / coaching solution for customer calls
What do you like best about the product?
Gong's UI is super easy to use and understand, and the transcriptions of customer conversations are very accurate. Easy to navigate through calls, whether it's for note-taking or coaching purposes. Can be accomplished quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's not much that I dislike about the solution. Maybe the ability to slow down the speed of conversations for more effective note-taking.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ability to focus my entire attention on the customer by knowing I can listen back to the call and detail my notes as needed. Also, I can quickly review calls with my manager to talk through strategies and opportunities to improve in the future.

You can choose to listen to only what one of the participants of the call is saying.

Gong is awesome I don't dislike anything.

Retaining critical and valuable information on sales calls that are used through the sales cycle.
Great Tool
What do you like best about the product?
Powerful speech to text, no need to take notes on calls. I can easily go back and re-listen to a customer discussion rather than having to rely on notes or memory.
What do you dislike about the product?
I really dont have any complaints, i think this is a great tool.

I am able to get more out of each customer call because my focus is entirely on them rather than note-taking. The analytics gong provides calls my attention to how much I am talking vs my customer, helps me to improve my selling skills
I love collaboration.
What do you like best about the product?
I love how the Listen In feature allows me to collaborate with my coworkers without having to join a zoom meeting which can be come crowded and overbearing for potential clients

User Interface isn't the most intuitive.

Collaboration becomes so much easier, as well as organization of previous recordings
Powerful Self Improvement Tool For The Virtual Sales Field
What do you like best about the product?
Not only am I able to review my calls to see what I did well/not so well, but I can also analyze my partner's calls to discover what else is working for my colleagues. This is especially valuable during a work from home status where I'm unable to pick up on some of the word tracks my colleagues would use in an office setting. I'm also able to send calls to teammates or supervisors to get their feedback and tips. Additionally, you can create a library of calls based on whatever scenario you want. Therefore you can provide examples for yourselves of scenarios where you overcame specific rebuttals or vice versa scenarios where people get stuck up, and then you can offer advice on how to overcome them. If you ask me, here at Paychex we should be utilizing this invaluable tool as much as possible.
What do you dislike about the product?
For some reason, I'm unable to see all my calls. Other than that, it's an amazing tool and I have no gripes about it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My ability to respond appropriately in a given scenario has greatly improved due to Gong. Reviewing calls in Gong has helped me develop new strategies and go into calls much more prepared than I did in the past. I also love reading some of the articles you all send out on how to be successful in a sales role. Recently I read an article about value-based pitching rather than product-based pitching. It was very informative and reminded me that money is just a means to an end. If one can demonstrate that value outweighs cost then no matter how steep the cost, then the client will always buy the product. Value outweighs price on the hierarchy of needs. Articles like that have helped me tweak my focus.

What do you like best about the product?
Analytics are amazing, I dont have to think about using it at all, it just works. Shoutout to my AM Chip!
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, nothing. There was one tiny thing a few months ago, I wrote in about it, they fixed it. Amazing service.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Call recording, but also call analyses -- you can see how long you talked, if you interrupted, etc. LOVE checking out how my AEs are doing & where they might need coaching. Amazing Salesforce integration as well.
A MUST for Sales Teams!
What do you like best about the product?
Everything. As a new hire, I initially used Gong to watch how other AEs speak with prospects and learned how to position our solutions. Once I started conducting meetings, I would rewatch my Gong videos to take down all the necessary notes that I may have missed during the conversation. It's also been great to search for specific topics as I continue to learn as a new hire. Gong also sends reminder emails to follow up with prospects in my pipeline.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far, so good! I can't think of anything I dislike at the moment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's accelerated my understanding of our solutions. It's also allowed me to go back to my meetings and take notes I may have missed.
