It great to hear back on your calls so you can critic what you need to improve on
What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy listening to other people's calls because I compare and contrast what I can do better at my working company. The upsides of using Gong is you get to hear yourself and critic what you can do better on your calls.
What do you dislike about the product?
At first, it was listening to my voice, but when listening to your calls over and over. Gong is excellent to focus on what you can improve on when calling customers and better your skills when communicating over the phone. I feel like the search for your calls to be easier to find, and maybe an APP would be convenient. Everyone is on their phone nowadays, and it's easy to access. I would like if the recorded calls would process right now instead of waiting for your records calls.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong's Revenue Intelligence platform captures your customer interactions across phone, web conferencing, and email understands what was said in these interactions, and delivers insights to help your team win more deals.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The best advice I have is to listen in on your calls and others carefully! It's important to get other feedback from other employees.

What do you like best about the product?
The best part about Gong is that, hands down, it provides intelligent insights that help me guide the next conversation with my customers. I'm semi-forgetful, and as much as I'd love to be proactive, the fact is, I have a lot of customers. There's always going to be something that slips through the cracks or that I forget about. Gong saves me from those things. Most importantly, though, is how freaking easy it is to actually share my calls with customers! They love to go back and review the things we looked at, as well as provide those things to their team.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not a whole lot. Sometimes the transcription is off slightly, but that's a byproduct of Zoom calls, weird names of software that would not exist in the dictionary, etc. 99% of the time, the transcription is either bang on, or just slightly off to a point where it doesn't hinder the ability to use it efficiently. I also don't love that when I share a call externally, the default is set to 5 days. I would prefer to be able to set it as "always accessible," as a lot of the calls I share are training calls.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problems that I'm solving with Gong are endless. First, I get to finally provide my customers with a very accessible recording of whatever type of call we had. Second, I get to have proactive outreach suggestions sent directly to my inbox. Third, I get insights on how much I talk, which helps me learn to shut my damn mouth!

What do you like best about the product?
I like that you quickly get feedback on your call and are able to see who or where you spent most of your time talking.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far there has been no negative experiences!

I am learning not to talk so much and also what topics I spend the most time talking about.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you want to improve your sales calls without having to pay a pricey sales-trainer, then this is your tool!
Super powers marketing's ability to 'hear' the customer
What do you like best about the product?
It's invaluable for marketing teams to be able to hear customers' and prospects' needs in their own words. Gong makes it possible to see verbatim language and also adds an ability for quick high-level analysis by tagging keywords. Our marketing language and positioning can be based on validated customer needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing! Gong's efficiency only makes lesser solutions look bad
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Marketing has a real-time research engine with Gong. We're able to understand what customers and prospects need, on a much deeper and authentic level than most other tactics.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Don't think of this as 'just another' sales tool; it will get used...by sales, marketing, customer support and other parts of your organization.

This tool is awesome for call prep. I can go back to my calls and watch exactly what my prospects said in their own words-- game changer!
What do you dislike about the product?
sometimes Gong doesn't record all the back and forth emails

This helps me prepare for next calls with the same prospect. It's so easy to go back and find the parts that they're talking

What do you like best about the product?
I love being able to review my client calls to see what went well and what didn't. I'm also able to review my team's calls to see how other people are talking about our product.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't found any major issues yet. It has been very helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This tool is extremely helpful on all client calls, but discovery calls in particular. It also allows you to filter by topics of conversation, which saves you time when reviewing recordings.

Tagging colleagues in snippets of calls for visibility and/or feedback!
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it feels like a CRM; too much data, most of the time, I just need access to call.

Visibility into call notes/the entire customer life cycle.

Being able to listen to my calls and my peers, as well as giving and receiving feedback.

How much it shows how I interrupt and talk too much haha, but I haven't found anything I didn't like yet

Realizing I need to pause, stop talking and listen. I also enjoy that i get a recap showing all of the items I said I would follow up on.

The AI transcription can be better. They are not too accurate when I read them.

With Gong, I can listen to my calls and find areas of improvement which has contributed to my growth.
Best Sales Learning Tool I've USed
What do you like best about the product?
I love the searchability, transcripts and how easy it is to share calls or clips of calls with colleagues
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't found any downsides so far! Easy to use and very helpful for reviewing calls and tracking customer communication
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Not everyone can attend every call, so the ability to go back and listen is priceless. I also love the key word search function.
