Great learning tool!

What do you like best about the product?
As an Account Executive Intern, much of my role has consisted of live call shadowing. Gong allows me to go back and review my past calls to help me learn and improve my selling skills. I would recommend Gong for anybody who wants to improve their selling skills. Team library access is also a great tool to learn from other salespeople on your team. Every call is categorized in a way that makes them easy to filter by team member or company.
What do you dislike about the product?
The deals tab is somewhat confusing for somebody in an introductory role, that was definitely a learning curve for me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong is helping me structure an effective sales pitch based on past calls that have been successful. It also allows me to learn from past mistakes that I may not have noticed during the live call. Analytics and speech transcription of the call is also helpful to make sure that I am not talking for the majority of the call, and seeing the speech breakdown by the attendee. The Gong library also helps walk me through the entire sales process, from past discovery calls to final proposal revies. Much of my internship has been spent utilizing these functions.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Consider the impact that learning from your past calls can make on your future success.

What do you like best about the product?
Very easy to use. Makes reviewing calls accessible and simple.

I don't believe that there is anything I dislike.

Solving the problem of not reviewing calls in general and expanding my sales capabilities by understanding how I can better myself.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that it separates speakers, as well as provides transcripts. It really allows you to hone in on specific parts of the conversation and select which parts can be improved upon. Goes without saying, but the UI/UX is super intuitive and easy to use. Having never used it before, I was easily able to navigate my way through the software after logging in for the first time.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the transcripts were more accurate, but I understand there are accents, as well as industry-related terms that are not easy to transcribe. Maybe having more accurate transcriptions after the call is recorded would be helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to listen to my calls and review them is helpful. The transcription feature also helps me catch words and phrases that are sub-optimal that I can improve in future conversations.

What do you like best about the product?
There are so many reasons to love Gong! The immediate feedback as a sales rep that Gong produces from an analytics standpoint is super helpful in getting better. Having all of the activity of a salescycle in one place that is easy to navigate is awesome as well, plus I can listen to snippets or entire calls right from there to ensure I don't miss any details.

They've really upped their game when it comes to making sure that reps have all the information they need to push deals to close, especially ones that have gone cold. I've used other providers of a similar vane and nothing compares to the detail and substantive differences that Gong produces compared to others in the space.

If you want your sales reps to get better (and want a way for product to understand actual painpoints you solve for), then Gong is a must.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm still trying to find things that I actually dislike. Are there things that could be better? Sure, but Gong proactively gets in front of these and builds solutions that sales people actually want.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to analyze game tape is HUGE. It's one of the only ways that reps can improve in their craft. But it's more than just a repository of call recordings. It's all of the analytics that go into it and having a data driven approach to improvement. Being able to understand why this deal was won, but this one wasn't is exactly where Gong fits in.

What do you like best about the product?
call analytics, key works being picked up, analyzing the leng of longest customer story and monologue
What do you dislike about the product?
the iOS application doesn't switch oreitntation
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Call coahing, better qualifying prospects. I have been able to cut down on my talk time on the phone and focus more on customer needs

if you have a focus on call coaching and improving your SDRs quality of calls with prospects, this is the soution for you

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to review calls and send feedback to teammates.
What do you dislike about the product?
iOS app could be more user-friendly. But I do love the fact that I can listen to the calls while working out on my iPhone.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hiring, employee training. Feedback on deals that are not advancing.

What do you like best about the product?
Gong has been very easy to use for the last few years.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have not found too many issue. I think the search feature could use more filtering options but they have continued to update it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong has helped me with tracking my meetings. One helpful benefit is to be able to relisten and isolate parts of a call. This has been helpful to see what a customer said in a call and not have to rely on my memory or notes. The ability to receive coaching has been great too. I can easily send a clip to my manager without her having to listen to the entire call.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Once you start using Gong, I recommend trying out the different features. There have been many things that Gong offers that I did not know were something I needed. The insights that come from Gong have really improved my sales and ability to be coached.

Wonderful teaching tool

What do you like best about the product?
I started a new role, and this allowed me to "ride-along" like never before. I'd watch while getting ready for work and whenever it was convenient. This way, you don't need to rely on someone inviting you to a call or calls not working with your schedule.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's always nerve-wracking, especially when you are a new employee, to have your calls recorded and open to the organization to view. Still, you don't get the benefits without your contributions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Training and seeing all types of different presentation styles has been great.
