What do you like best about the product?
it is so crystal clear sound and it will not fail to record
What do you dislike about the product?
Gong can be very expensive if you have a huge sales org.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I dont have to take any notes anymore, its all recorded, all my directors and sales leaders can listen to calls on their own time

What do you like best about the product?
Ability to learn from peers without taking bandwidth from them. It's sometimes difficult to track down your colleagues to ask about their deals, so with Gong, I'm able to search the account and find the deal in order to learn key parts of the evaluation, how they dealt with negotiation, push back from prospect, and more.
What do you dislike about the product?
Wish there was a way to download videos for customers who say they know we are recording and want to share with the demo or conversation with their peers. This might exist, but it would be nice to Save a call where there is a great example of a negotiation, conversation, etc to reference over the year. Essentially a foldering system.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Improving my sales pitch. I've seen what talk tracks work for others (and what doesn't) so I can borrow and learn from their meetings.

Important Tool for Self Review and Improvement

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to analyse your calls on different topics covered, length of monologues.
What do you dislike about the product?
The suggestions on best practices may not be contextual and specific to every region. Also, they need to share some background as to why thats a best practice. Some independent research might help.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am analysing my sales pitch and improve it. Also, it helps to know how frequently i'm using fillers in my sentence, the speed with which I speak or even the pauses. All this helps me to improve my sales pitch and conversations.

What do you like best about the product?
Being able to listen to calls and give feedback at the proper moment has been imperative to coaching new employees. It has also made it feel more like being in the office.
What do you dislike about the product?
That it is difficult to tell what stage the sale is in depending on where the calls are associated? The user experience could be improved as well as it is not as intuitive as it could be.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to listen to what my team is doing and check for knowledge gaps or incorrect information. It has been instrumental in coaching especially while remote.

Effective way for re-assessing calls overall

What do you like best about the product?
The playback feature which shows the length of time that each individual caller was on and speaking. I also really love that you can speed up the audio playback speed (essential for listening to the calls again on a crunch lol) and also the transcribe feature - that has been a HUGE life saver for most call reviews I've done alone!
What do you dislike about the product?
As with any other transcription portion, sometimes the words can be off. With that, I will sometimes notice that the called out "action items" in follow-ups are off or incorrect. I think that with better training on how to enhance my use of the tool, I could actually benefit personally for how to better make "call outs" in calls so that I don't have to continue to take my own notes and can use Gong for that :-) which would be a huge deal for what calls we are doing here at our company! That could actually lead to use of the features like that being increased company wide - very likely by way of us hosting or doing more internal training on best practices/use of Gong overall for our customer success longevity!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Definitely the playback for customer calls and training purposes. Being in such a complex and ever-changing industry, the ability to have call playback on demand is huge for us in areas of support and training.

What do you like best about the product?
The visualization of conversations by participant on the timeline and rapid scroll. Got to mention the searchable In synch transcript as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
What’s not to like... Gong has no competition!

Quickly review and search all aspects of our recorded sales calls.

What do you like best about the product?
The call analytics has really transformed how I listen to my own calls and review my performance. I specifically enjoy the speak break down analytics that help me understand how much of the call I am driving versus how much of the call my customer is driving. As a coaching metric it allows me to better assess my effectiveness as a software consultant. This goes hand in hand with the system provided tips that not only make recommendations but also back up those recommendations with my own analytics. It is impressive to work in a system that provides such involved details and gives me action items I can implement moving forward.
What do you dislike about the product?
As of right now there hasn't been much to dislike.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The first thing that I solved with Gong is my ability to find calls seamlessly with effective search ability. In my role I regularly review calls for myself and to share with colleagues. Gong has really helped streamline this process. This goes hand in hand with my ability to share those recorded calls. At HubSpot, we have a strong emphasis on coaching and having the ability to quickly pull the call recording is pivotal. I lastly have to call out Gong's call analytics. Not only is it a great coaching tool but it also allows me to segment my calls effectively. These are all very noticeable differences from my previous solution as each of these benefits all gave me problems within my previous solution.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Gong is an intuitive platform that provides tons of effective coaching metrics that are not just valuable to individual contributors but also managers.

What do you like best about the product?
I love that I can go back and rewatch the calls I've previously made and use those to both remind me what was discussed as well as find ways in which I can improve. I use Gong as a virtual tutor, so it is really convenient for me to be able to go back and watch those previous calls! I also really love that I can see the comparison between when I talked versus when the other person talked! That is really awesome!
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to be able to add notes to the call that are linked to a specific time. That would be very helpful for me!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a tutor, I use Gong to analyze my own lessons and see how I can improve and my boss does the same thing. He watches and then makes suggestions on where I can improve!

What do you like best about the product?
Overall I like the simplicity of being able to gather call data, and centralize it into one UI. Previously we were fragmented across Salesloft, Zoom, and an internal tool. It is really easy to use, and once configured correctly we have no worries around enabling/disabling recording.
What do you dislike about the product?
There were some sections of the documentation that were a bit outdated since they moved from an old school zoom integration to a Native Zoom integration. While the documentation was a bit confusing, our AM was amazing and responsive as we were getting things up and running.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main problem we wanted to solve was recording all calls for call coaching, with an emphasis on discovery calls to understand early deal mechanics to adjust our early sales strategy. Very quickly we found that our cross functional peers were keen to listen to calls as well, since there was a desire to hear the voice of the customer. Very quickly they became invested in the tool, and love the ability to hear the exact phrasing customers use when describing problems as they think about roadmap and material production.
