Best way to learn from your colleagues in a Global Sales team
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to search based on topic and rep. I generally only want to follow various parts of the sales process and focus on particular reps relevant to my role.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing yet. It's fulfilling all my requirement so far!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I work in a global sales team and the team I am is small so Gong allows me to follow various reps and sales cycles from my colleagues in the Americas and Europe. It has been pivotal for coaching and progressing into new roles with a diverse look of how our sales org runs.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Great for SDR's that cant always sit in on sales calls to learn more about the rest of the sales cycle.
Gong is a critical part of my process as an AE
What do you like best about the product?
Having everything tracked and recorded. I constantly go back to check recordings, review transcripts, etc. It's also great to be able to share content with others on my team (product, engineering, leadership, customer success) who may not have had a chance to attend a call, they can hear the words directly from the people on the call.
What do you dislike about the product?
Calls are all transcribed and available in the call transcript. The technology itself is a work in process but often you have to go back and make edits if you are extracting quotes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong gives us a source of truth at all times. This enables to go back and see what we did well, didn't do well, opportunities for growth, client support, etc.

Incredibly useful to record and track your meetings. Amazed about the insights that it automatically creates

Search engine is not always the best one.

Review previous meetings, share interesting parts of the meetings with other workmates
Bilingual Gong Helps the Process
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ability for me to receive feedback from my calls whenever my manager is able to go over the calls by simple commenting. With my information also being linked to it I am able to also receive the comments in my email account and know which calls they exactly commented on. I also like the fact the names are on the titles because it helps me know which caller is which.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the organizing part can be slightly better. It should be able to have folders that I can simply slide each one in. I have looked for a way to do so and I could be overlooking it, but this would help me be able to organize my calls I want to show to peers and decipher my English and Spanish calls as well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problems I am solving with Gong are how my calls are going and any other technical issues I have come across. The other day I was on Gong trying to understand how a call went and I discovered my speaker connection was not sounding good. This allowed me to be able to understand and properly correct my audio issue and helped me assure the next call would be okay. The other benefits I have realized from Gong is that I can understand and do good with my calls for the next go round. I see the problems I could possibly have with a previous call but Gong allows me to fix the problem.

Take advantage of Gong! It is helpful in a lot of ways !
Essential for the Sales Engineer
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate that all of the calls are automatically recorded so it's impossible to forget to add the tool to important calls. The dashboards are incredibly helpful for quickly finding accounts and aggregating all of my calls in one place so I can reference back when needed.
What do you dislike about the product?
I honestly cannot think of any aspects that I dislike about the Gong product at this time. Every product release they've had in the past year has been on point and improved an already great product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having recordings of all conversations with prospects helps to make so many parts of my job easier and more efficient. I can easily jump into a prospect account and be caught up to speed by listening to the earlier conversations the reps have had. Gong recordings are also incredibly helpful for the sales hand-off process with our post-sales teams. There is no more guesswork or game of telephone as to what was discussed with the prospect leading up to signature. I personally love Gong to help with self-improvement of my approach on calls. It's a great coaching tool!

This technology is a no-brainer for any sales organization!
Excellent Recording Software that saves a lot of time and makes life easier
What do you like best about the product?
I like how you can search for keywords or topics within the recording. It saves me from having to listen to an entire call and I can just fast forward to the parts I need to listen to. Gong is also pretty easy to use and it automatically records for us which is nice. I don't have to spend too much time finding certain snippets or parts of calls. Also it records the screenshare which comes in super handy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing much. So far I like it a lot more than other recording software (such as RingCentral's recording). I can't really think of many downsides at the moment. At first I just had to get used to the interface but after a little bit of time its pretty easy to use
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm able to record calls and quickly fast forward to the parts I need to listen to. I can also send recordings easily to coworkers or customers. It helps me listen to calls to reference important info or conversation topics that help with follow up. It helps our business record our calls easily and then store them for future reference

I would definitely recommend it for audio and screen share recording.
The Gong Effect
What do you like best about the product?
Gong is the best intelligence tool on the market for sales. It's extremely detailed and intuitive, yet simple and easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside to gong is sometimes it can take a while for your recent calls to show up and sometimes the transcriptions can be off.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong is helping me solve the effectiveness of my cold calls. It's allowed me to realize how important the structure of the call is and the difference changing your talk time vs the prospects can be.

You're gonna like the way, you Gong. I guarantee it
Gong is a NEED to have for remote sales
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to listen to any call in a remote sales org is critical for success right now. Highlighting and tagging relevant snippets of calls is awesome. Love the analytics / stats, these are quick ways to improve. Benchmark yourself against team members, and assign calls for your manager to listen to and take notes. Gong's software helps critically evaluate how you run your calls, and is helping me evolve into a better sales rep.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't think of anything I truly dislike... The call translation isn't perfect, but it's not realistic to expect it to be.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Speaking more concisely. Saving time being able to jump through calls. Quoting talk tracks and making them my own. I'm new at my current company, and it's been incredible to craft talk tracks from the best reps while remote.

If you want to get better at your sales job, use Gong.
Gong has saved me over and over again
What do you like best about the product?
Having the ability to go back and look at the transcript to review what was said to a customer. Also, the follow-up emails with to-do tasks are pretty cool.
What do you dislike about the product?
Although I love the transcripts, sometimes the word transcribing is a little off. Sometimes the Gong's get filed under the wrong name too. This could be user error though.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Recalling what I said months back. It's great to go back if someone has a question, and I don't remember, I can easily search for it.
Gong unlocks insights into your calls you never knew existed.
What do you like best about the product?
The patience score, the categories of convo. It helps me pinpoint where I need to improve as well as collaborate with my manager easily on important areas.
What do you dislike about the product?
I imagine it's probably pretty expensive and I dont often get recordings of other lines due to privacy.

Unlocking insights into my sales process to become more effective on the phone.
