Being someone who is new to sales, I have found Gong to be crucial to my progress as an SDR.
What do you like best about the product?
Gong makes it easy to review calls with your manager or colleagues. Also listening to colleagues calls for help is great.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have not yet found something to dislike about going.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am solving problems with objection handling while talking with prospects. It makes it easy to pin point areas of the conversation without having to listen to the entire call.

What do you like best about the product?
Gong makes it incredibly easy to share short snippets of a video with customers or colleagues. Being able to copy and past the dictation from the call for a direct quote is a must-have as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not everyone has the ability to edit or delete recordings, but I understand that it is an Admin privilege.
I also wish that I could add Gong to internal calls more easily if needed, our default to external attendee calls in Zoom.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The accuracy of my recap emails has gone up. Clear action items and better follow up. Sending to call recording to a customer saves me from follow up calls. Also, cutting the first 5 min of chatter, intros, or tech difficulties out of a recording before sharing is wonderful.

Try it, love it, keep it.

I love the AI used to pickup on keywords and follow-up items.

Sharing videos to outside audiences can sometimes be a bit difficult for the client.

Sending out call recordings and following up on 'to-dos' listed by Gong's AI

A great sales tool but also don't overlook the value for all teams in your company!

Sometimes it takes some times for my calls to be sent to me.

Gong helps train new reps by providing coaching, in terms of letting the customer speak, and how to create an even flow in conversation.

As yet, there is no downside to Gong. I provides everything hoped for.

Gong facilitates training and playbook creation for sales and business development
If you do sales, this is a must have.
What do you like best about the product?
I have the ability to review calls on the fly, view transcripts, and share the call. Gong runs in the background automatically, no need to do anything. Game changer for any sales rep.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, I can't think of anything, super happy with the product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sales reps are so busy, they forget things. Gong allows me to listen to my calls, find key points, and gives me that quick reminder of what I need to do or what we discussed. Big benefit is that it allows managers to listen to calls and provide feedback.

Just the opportunity to review calls with such ease. I feel like the platform is very user friendly.

I have only used Gong for a couple of months, at this point I am struggling to think of any dislikes I have.

Key words, identifying buying signals sooner, really just growing as a sales person in general.

Analytics of the call automatically generated and measure you're performance against your peers
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI could be better. Adding Gong manually is via a tiny icon.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
All calls recorded AND analyzed? Able to review the analytics that show you how well to presented on a call is amazing. I can share clips or who calls with clients. My boss can review and make comments on key timestamps to indicate improvements, etc.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Do the free trial at the very least. It will impress you without a doubt.
A must have tool for any sales organization!
What do you like best about the product?
Recording calls automatically with the calendar integration. Scripts after the call. Call analytics. Ability to view other calls from teammates across the entire org.
What do you dislike about the product?
I mainly just use it for the purposes above. I have literally no dislikes with the UX and features described.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
reliably, clearly, and consistently recording client calls. Learning a treasure trove of info about the call and client using the helpful analytics tools that Gong provides us. How to improve our call skills and negotiations skills overall. Providing us the ability to review calls from the past and either deny or agree with claims that are made by clients, and/or just having that ability to go back to clarify any notes taken.

What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't anything I dislike. The AI could be stronger and seems to be improving with its intuition.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have SO many calls that I have a problem going back and organizing my notes for each call.

Look at the AI and how it pulls action items for each call. It's improving!
