I like that it automatically sends the recording to all participants.

I wish there were more customizable settings.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping a record of things said during meetings and the ability to review calls.

the transcripts of calls allow me to keep track of who was on the call and any follow-ups I promised

Coaching From Afar

What do you like best about the product?
Because our company is work from home and we can no longer to on coaching on the sales floor Gong has been such an incremental part of how I can get feedback from my team on what I can be doing better on calls.
What do you dislike about the product?
Integration has been a hassle. We used to be able to include gong automatically through our outlook invites (on macs) but now we have to add it to every call.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Solving the problem of no longer being on a sales floor and have peers and managers available to give feedback after calls. Its also great to see how your strategy on a call plays out in the data. For instance how much you are talking vs your client.

An absolute necessity for any sales rep

What do you like best about the product?
Transcribes calls very accurately and allows ease of scrubbing through the call to pick up on small details. Helpful sales tips as well. Really allows me to focus on the call and not worry about missing any details. The calls are easy to save for future reference and great for training purposes. Very smart integration into our existing app portfolio and plays very nicely with
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much to be honest. I haven't had any issues. I wish that GONG Coach didn't show up as an additional participant in meetings as I often am asked who it is. After explaining its our AI transcriber sometimes it is met with concern but all in all, a great marketing tool for GONG so can't complain. I may have missed it when trained to use the app but I would like if there was some way of tracking bad habits (ums, likes, etc.) and getting feedback on what reactions are from my prospects. Also getting summaries of how people respond to certain key words in place of others would be interesting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I don't like taking extensive notes during calls. Gong is basically my note taking assistant, lets me focus on delivering the call and not worry about catching every small detail. I like to save good calls to re-listen to for training purposes. I can tag my director in calls for call review and get other rep's opinions on the delivery of the call.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Figure out a way to make it work with your apps. It is highly valuable and the ROI is there without a doubt.

What do you like best about the product?
Very straightforward to use, and helpful to our entire team to ensure we are speaking at the highest level of excellence to provide the best conversation to our partners.
What do you dislike about the product?
I was a little confused on how to navigate around the platform at first, but then we had a coaching conversation with one of your administrators which was very helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to listen to good and bad calls alike, then improve our conversation tracks based on the debates we have in each call.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It take a little while to figure out some of the different tools, but once you mess around with it, it becomes an extremely helpful platform in all areas of your business.

What do you like best about the product?
Deal Analysis - Re-listening to calls in sales cycle applying Meddic to see what might be missing in the deal
Re-engaging old opps - learning what happened during a previous evaluation and the best way to re-engage
Call reviews - Being able to use it for coaching and find areas for micro improvements.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was a better way to group accounts. Sometimes there will be 2 or 3 different Gong records that pop up when I do a search .
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Winning more deals, shortening sales cycles, improving team performance
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would recommending using the tags. This is super useful when you want to use it for enablement down the road.

This might be a "nice to have" for a small sales organization of only a few reps. You could say the most value would get is just being able to focus on your demo and be able to re-listen to takes notes later, identify areas for improvement, and maybe doing some call review with your director later in the sales cycle.

I would say Gong becomes very valuable as soon as you have a BDR team. How else will you be able to make sure that you understand what was said leading up to your initial touch point with the prospect? Many times times the BDR might not even know something said was important but this way you'll never miss anything.

If you're running an accounts based organization this is a must have. The fact of the matter is that notes are difficult to understand and you are wasting sales cycles if you're not collecting that data in Gong to be able to come back to win those deals later down the road.

Great tool for coaching, personal growth and solution design

What do you like best about the product?
Gong makes reviewing calls simple and easy. I really enjoy the coaching features and feel like it has accelerated my growth in sales. I also really like how I can reference conversations to help me not skip a beat with my prospects in follow up meetings. Our solutions can be complex so it's nice to have a reference just to remember everything that folks are asking for. It's also great to look at the activity I've had over the course of weeks and months to see if I'm meeting my goals from that standpoint. Additionally, I've found that the voice
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be a little awkward at the start of some calls to share that calls are being recorded. Would be great to have an opt-in feature at the start of the call that's automated. This would be a prompt that would not allow folks to join the call until they've accepted. Not having to verbally say this would be ideal. Also, sometimes the recording doesn't always get added to some calls even though I'd like it to. It would be nice to be able to manually add the recording in the midst of calls.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong comes in handy with solution design. Based on the volume of calls that I have, it's tough to remember all of the elements of the solution that I need be thinking through. By listening to some of the calls, it's helped me truly understand what my prospects are looking to accomplish. This makes for better deals and sales that provide more value to everyone.
